One of the best videos I've ever seen . The camera footage and shots from multiple angles is simply amazing. Your country is beautiful Becchetta bicycles are the best!
I have been riding my recumbent for 12 years. I love every minute of it. You captured the motion. It kind of feels like your superman riding through the air. Thanks for the video.
Hi Rotting-Boards, Thanks for the appreciation, it's a great reward. I am presently working on a new Project, which I most likely will release in a few weeks. So if you are interessted in more Videos, you are wolcome to subscribe my channel. Have a beautyfull and laidback day :-)Thies
Awesome video Thies, nice job! Watching it really gives a realistic impression of what it feels like to ride such a bike to those who haven't done it yet. Also, shout-out to Sebastian (?) for assisting with the close ups and the funny "interaction scene"! =)
What a great place! A german village? I want to live here to ride my bike all day. A recumbent cycle is very comfortable. Lovely paths! I suppose the cam its a drone. Great takes! Thanks for video!
Hi Rolix, Thanks for your appreciation! Yes, I shot the footage during day rides in the area around Stuttgart, Germany. It's really a cool place to be. And yes: I shot the footage with a camcorder and a drone and combined the scenes in postproduction. In case you are interested, you may subscribe my channel? I am presently working on a new video of similar type. It will be released in a few days. Rgds: Thies
Hello Thies, I had a Bacchetta Giro 20 that I sold to buy my Greenspeed X5 trike. I always felt as though i was on top of the bike and not in the bike, if that makes sense to you.
Hi Zorro in Hell, Yes, I pretty much feel the same. But it doesen't matter me and I feel very stable an comfortable on the Bacchetta. Even though you might not guess it, the Bacchetta rides more stable and more agile than the fujin. It has a smaller turning radius and it's easyer to balance the bike at low speed. Nevertheless I love my Fujin. Have fun with your greenspeed :-). Greetings from Germany!Thies
Hallo Tom, es kommt darauf an, was Du lieber fährst.
Hello Doug, I live in a hilly region and resulting from the stick-design the Bacchetta ist a real climber in comparison to other recumbents . However it can not compete with a regular upright bike when it comes to climbing. Best: Thies
Hi Keith, These bags are from a former manafacturer called "ELAN". However they unfortunately aren't abailable anymore. I got them as a free add-on from my dealer when I bought the Bacchetta.Best regards:Thies
Do you have a video of just you riding with something like a helmet cam, or a attached cam with just the view of whats in front of you ? I like to get on my exercise recumbent bike and peddle to that type of video . If you don't would you make some ?
Hi Steve, thanks for clicking my video and thanks for contacting me. On producing the video the approach was, showing the rider and the bike gettinng ridden like it is rarely shown on the internet-videos. When I was watching recumbent-videos exactly this view for me was missing. The Videos avialable allways announce "Riding my Bike XY" but the bike itsels was never visible. Morover the Approach was to transport the feeling of riding a recumbent with action-sequences, airshots and Close-ups - and somme short views fro a rider's perspective - last sequences to transport the closer on-the-bike-Feeling. Yes, I will produce more Videos. The next one will be about my Fjin SL2, but they will be of a similar type as the Bacchetta-Video.Rgds: Thies

Fantastic video!! Are you still riding? I just bought a used Bacchetta Corso 65.
Hello David, yes I still do ride recumbents. However the Bacchetta I sold and bought some video-equipment instead;-).

Thies Kardel-whats the maximum speed you have achieved with your bachetta? is it faster than a regular bicycle?

Tolles bike, durfte ich auch schon fahren. Findest du die Bachetta oder das Scorpion als sportlichen Tourer besser geeignet?

How is your Bacchetta at climbing?
Looks like a fast bike.

Which bags are those you are using under/beside your seat?
