Unfortunately this is not the only case that attracts internet sleuths. This morning I saw a video of someone convinced Madeline McCann's parents had killed her, even though a suspect has already been arrested. When Athena Strand went missing initially everyone blamed her stepmother, whom I'm sure was already experiencing enough guilt as is. I have seen numerous interviews with parents of victims where half the comments are saying the parents (who have just _lost their child)_ "aren't acting right" and therefore must be guilty. People need to wake up and realize they are not Sherlock Holmes, and accusing people without proof is despicable.

It’s bringing out all these crazies and online sleuths, causing them to have to waste their time following lies and suspicions rather than genuine leads. And they’re being attacked left, right, and center for not releasing every detail of the case? I thought it was common knowledge that they have to keep some info private so they have something to confront the killer with (knowing unreleased details) and because the more information released, the more the obsessed followers of this case will misinterpret it
You would think it was common knowledge, but this case has demonstrated that a large part of the public seems to think that they are entitled to “solving” cases like this of police don’t make an arrest in 48 hours. It’s like Jesus, we get it people, you are addicted to watching “The First 48” - it’s just that this isn’t another episode in your marathon viewing, this is an ongoing investigation! 🙃
Sue them all. Sue every single one that was wrong and boasted their delusions as truth and fact. They did more damage to this case than anyone else could have imagined. Scumbags. And if you think I'm talking about you, I probably am
Bet Ashley never heard of Bryan kohberger.....
Everyone’s ruining this investigation
This is a precedent-setting case. I hope the vlogger learns her lesson and that this is a warning to all "content creators"
Ppl so blinded by social media n their false reality they can’t even think ab the consequences for something like this
TikToks weird ""True Crime"" community is gonna get a lot more stuff like this coming, all these young women who watched Law & Order a few times and now think they are investigators, while having millions of viewers will ruin someones life sooner or later.
Not backing down…until she loses.
It’s sad. I took a look at her TikTok and even now after they have the suspect, she continues to double-down and is still mentioning this professor. Why not just give it up and not dig herself deeper into trouble than she already is?
Because how else will she continue to sell her “psychic” lies?
She's too far gone. She really believe everything she said is 'fact' and 'truth'
People have become so bold saying BS without evidence and without consequences. Yall are some weirdos believing everything that has been told to you by this woman, and running with it. Evaluate yourselves.
Sue her! Play stupid games win stupid prizes
Ahh, presuming her guilt and inciting others to inflict harm on her.
Hmm, very interesting post here....
@@bewell6019 “presuming her guilt”???….are you moronic?? It's only a matter time before THE VIEW gets involved and start claiming racism from the accused professor. Smh
These TikTok detectives just say anything. Hope she wins the lawsuit and that tiktoker pays
Slander & defamation. Sue her & get your coin ma’am!
She’s a tarot reader. This is why tarot isn’t the Source to solving crimes
Good. I'm glad she's suing and being so public. So many people are just throwing people's names in the mix. It could have devastating effects on their lives. This idiot was warned. Time to make an example of her
That girl on TikTok should be investigated. She seems dangerous.
Or perhaps they should put that energy into, ya know , finding out who killed those students ?
Well that didn't age well
Her cards didn't tell her she was gonna be sued 🙄🙄🙄🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ if she truly wanted to solve the case she should have been working with the police...and have them investigate her "readings" not posting videos on an open case... I hope the professor wins b/c Ashley's lies could motivate someone to attack professor..
Police don’t investigate tarot card readings. Other than that I agree with your comment
@@nox7282 police depended on psychics on a few cases, basically when they have nothing else

makes me think ! According to the suit, Scofield, who began working at the university in 2016, never met the slain students, nor had they taken a class with her. The suit says she was with her husband in Portland, Oregon, visiting friends when the students were killed. !!
so she says. you are willing to blindly believe her based in her being white and the tic toc lady being black. Read up on the professors degrees and some of the things she has written. She is a Karen.
How did this lady even start blaming this professor
Yeah I watched her videos. That women is going to jail. She’s done this with another case also. She’s giving tarot readers a bad name. Now don’t get me wrong tarot readers can definitely tell us a story. But it won’t give specific names. And it won’t give you the full spectrum of what happened. The spirits do not tell us everything either. Like how she is making it. She blocked me after I told her she’s going to jail. 🙄
Who doesn't live their life through tarot cards?
TAKE TIKTOK DOWN ALREADY !!!!!
This is what I REALLY HATE about tiktokers. They think they know things when really they don't know anything. They think because people watch their TikToks they are right about everything. A lot of them don't even know what the truth is because people just hype them up. It's so stupid. I hope this person gets her ass handed to her in court
Good! Get her. She shouldn't be allowed to drag that professor through the drama and stress, without having access to the crime scene and official documents. She deserves to be sued and embarrassed equally as bad.
Good! These people on TikTok need to realize the whole world sees those videos and it’s a very serious accusation
Definitely because she is black like who even believes influencers can solve a crime police can’t.
Unfortunately this is not the only case that attracts internet sleuths. When Orsoyla Gaal was murdered the internet was convinced it was her 13 year old son, who later turned out to be innocent, and is now most likely even more traumatized than before.
Yes the vague 'why are they acting like that', 'could it be they have something to hide', and 'this doesn't pass the smell test' 'logic' is infuriating.
Horrible and cruel !! Why are people still watching her videos????
Right now I bet her views are going near viral, as every nosey person on the internet wants to see her first hand.
Because people are STUPID! People actually believe what she said
bc they're dumb
She should sue them. You can't just make allegations willy nilly without evidence for views.
The point is, the professor _is_ suing.
she is suing her, did you not listen
I think the original comment is saying the professor?
@@AFloridaSon when is their court set for? They usually have a date set up as soon as the lawsuit is filed.

The fact of the matter is that even if the Professor’s name is officially cleared (as it should be), there will still be countless people who suspect her based off of Ashley’s videos. We live in an age where it is entirely TOO EASY to slander someone and once a rumor gets out and is circulated, it is often the case that, by that point, the damage has already been done. People have to understand that there are consequences to posting speculative content to social media. Your words matter and you can’t just accuse people of things with no evidence and expect there to NOT be consequences

Nah as a black woman I hope the professor wins. This woman is certifiable. The race card would never work here. She’s clearly a crazy
Both social media and Idaho are human toilets.
They need to make a example out of this case. So many people online do this, accusing someone of murder with no evidence at all. It can ruin lives. Imagine your loved one is murdered and your all over the internet being accused of their murder.
what sucks are the tips they get from liars or attention seekers who waste police time
That feels when TikTok isn't a law enforcement much less a trustworthy news source.
Just another example of young folks not understanding the LAW.
