- Introducing my new (van) home… Stream!
She’s a SWB Renault Trafic and is going to be a major upgrade on space after living in my Berlingo for 14 months!
For all the people wondering about my socials and UA-cam changing name, do not fear - Stream’s full name is Silva Stream (see what I did there?!), so nothing is going to change.
In this first instalment of my van build series I remove the bulkhead and rear seats and spend time dismantling things from Silva.

Great buy , a bit of work to do in the conversion but you’ll definitely notice the difference in space 👏
Thanks Dave, yeah the space is going to feel amazing 😁🤸🏻♀️
Exciting times ahead, looking forward to seeing the conversion!
Thanks for following along Lucy 😊
Lovely van Kiki 👌 Have fun building her to your requirements. And lots of personal touches 😊
Thanks Asa 😁
Yaaaaaay.............exciting times.
Very exciting ☺️
Saw your previous vid Kiki and thought Trafic or Vivaro! The smile on your face with all that space 😀 Just watched the first few minutes, will return later to finish off! Soooo looking fwd to your reveal 👍🏼
You were right!! And I'm so happy to be having a decent amount of space 😁
Stay positive you will get there soon and then you can be off roaming free again. Love the name 💕
Thanks Jo 😁 can't wait to be roaming again!
Have fun and enjoy the build! Looking forward to seeing your new home when she’s done.
Thanks Ruth 💕
Love the new van and the name!! really exciting but no doubt a bit daunting getting her kitted out. It will be worth it once it is done. I think you made good progress stripping everything back. Hope things go smoothly with the rest of the build and you are back out on the road enjoying nature again soon.
Thanks Andrea - she named herself really, I didn't have much say in it ☺️ still a bit daunting but am making progress!
Fantastic....enjoy every moment of your new build, relax and breathe I know easier said than done , just think how much more room you will have to play with....Great move good luck x
Thanks Richard 😊
Don't rush the process , enjoy it , love watching this and how you get on , will make a lovely home 🏡 X
Thanks 😁 can't really rush as much as I'd like, everything seems to take ages 🤣
Looks like a lot of hard work. Hope it all goes smoothly. I need some of those ‘loopy bolts’!
Thanks Lynne 💕 I tried looking for them in my old orders as think I got them on eBay but couldn't find it 😂 they were fiddly to get in but totally worth it 👍🏻
Spacious and cute windows at the back. It would be nice if I could rent a van like this in the near future.
I'm sure there's similar vehicles for hire - I see them roaming around Scotland sometimes!
I am sure the time will fly when building your new home out. It is intimidating but lots of planning and you will get there. Looking forward to more videos but please take your time.
Thanks Tom, yes time and money both flying at the moment 💸😂
Congratulations on new v ,it is a bit overwhelming but you will get there.
Thanks 😁
Such a good looking van buy! :)
Thanks Rob 😁
Will definitely make you a lovely home enjoy the build and good luck 🍀
Thanks Andrew 😁
Wow massive wide space bit not as wide as the smile on your face, fantastic Kiki. Taking your van apart is daunting but it's like tidying up, you've got to take it all out to sort it out.. Then you can see your space. I write lists in a little book that seems to help my "head storage space" I've got safely written down and can then forget it😊. A mixture of excitement and exhaustion make mother nature tell you it's nap time😂. Enjoy every moment and remember we're with you every step of the way 😊🏴
Yeah it's definitely been daunting but getting better as it comes together! Thanks so much for following along - I like your little book idea, I do the same on my phone but not sure it's as good that way ☺️
Wow awesome, really look forward to watching your next vid on the conversion, my friend has a Renault traffic van which we use for our ferret racing events such big space in them 🥰xx
Thanks, it is so much bigger than a Berlingo! I didn't know that feret racing was a thing but now your name makes sense ☺️
@@SilvaontheRoad yes we run a ferret welfare and part of it we go around to all different events with the ferrets educating people and also put on a display of the ferrets racing thru tubes which they absolutely love and entertain the public 🥰xx
Looks good, take your time & it will all come together.
Take care and stay safe x
Thanks Steve 😁
Looks in lovely condition
Why did you buy a double cab? They're more expensive..
Hi,
Ive just come across your video did you manage to sell the bulkhead & rear seats ???
Hi Nigel, yeah I did! Which was a relief because the only dry place I had to store the seats was in the van and I couldn't really start work on anything with them in there 🤣
@@SilvaontheRoad no worries thanks for your reply, carry on enjoying van life 👍
Hard work, yes. But it WILL all be worth it in the end.
Thanks Geoff 😊
I guess you couldn't buy a van any other colour😊
Well I was actually looking for a blue one but this one found me 🤣
Steering wheel cover, yep, a woman drives that van.......................
