Correction: This engine actually rated at 2935 horsepower not 1468.

How the hell does one load test that much power? What does the tester look like?
It can be done by using multiple load banks, or by synching the generator to the utility line and using the utility power grid as a load.
We got 2 Megs at Sunbelt.
The neighbors think my biannual load testing of residential backup generators is such a production.

@@RJ1999x I'll dumb it down a few notches for you. Just about 0.79$/liter is indeed 3$/USG 👏hurray for being able to do the conversion. But the initial comment was referring to thinking that 3$ fuel is expensive is comical. Elsewhere in the world 4-5-6-7-8 dollar fuel is a common thing.

thats not very big, we have a 3 mw gen set
if I take 100 amps at 240 v ac for a typical family average needs then divide that by 2000 kw I get approximently 83 and 1/3 of families getting electricity with this Diesel generator
Diesel is more efficient than gasoline, power output, and because its an on demand system with no battery storage anywhere, it idles and serves no one, inefficient dramatically increases the air pollution needlessly
