what i dont agree with is how he said you cant boost a champs turn meter after its already past 100%, when my experience completely goes against that. its literally the reason i run seeker with arbiter... if i run arbiter only and boost my team up to 100%, theres a good chance they wont go next if im against a fast lyss or other arbiter... if i run seeker and boost everyone to 100%, and then seeker boosts another 30% after, i always go next . so you can definitely boost even after 100%

Been playing for about 3 months daily... It feels like i opened about 20 legendry shards not one legend as been obtained from it... Opened about 30+ void shards got 1 legend
why u need legends? drop chance only 6%.... very hard. If it was easy everyone would only have best heroes everywhere and game would be boring and devolpers would need to release new overpowered heroes all the time

What is supposed to happen at the start of the battle? If the turn meter starts empty at the 0 “tik”, surely that doesn’t mean both champions just sit there waiting for their turn meter to fill because that’s not what happens but that’s what it sounds like you’re saying to me. Game need more features, go for inspiration on elune. Elune events ar good and rewards are rewarding, not stupid RAIDS 20k silver wich isnt enough even for unequip stupid 5* piece of gear. Paying Silver to swap Artifacts on Champions is a mechanic that was included to keep Raid fair and make curating teams to target specific Dungeons and opponents on Arena more challenging and satisfying. Without it, it would be far too easy and take away all the fun.

Thanks for your videos. I have a simple question..... I play on my phone and during battles, when I tap on an enemy, a red circle shows under them. What is purpose of the circle? Been playing for couple of days and must've missed if it was explained during early game play.
Since no-one answered & in case someone else has the same question, the red circle means you are targetting that enemy when auto-battling. If you fight manually you don't see the target circle as the action happens as soon as you tap the enemy. When auto-battling the enemy with the red circle under them will continue to be targetted by your team until you choose another enemy or the current target dies.
I’ve now run into two apothecaries that are so fast that they get two turns in a row. Both times the battles came down to my Wurlim Frostking and the apothecary keeps doing boon of speed and then the heal which I forget what it’s called. Even when I freeze them they get a turn before I can hit again and so he heals again. I do eventually win by getting off a big enough hit but god damn it took forever. Especially the first one.
I have a question, I have set up a team with Lyssandra leading. I have a Valkrie at 148 speed and a Sinesha at 149 speed. Yet in the first round, Valkrie goes first. I don't understand how that can be, unless only the base speed is getting a boost from Lyssandra's Aura/Ability.

So I use a stitched beast which has an ascended skill called pack tactics. It says it fully depletes targets turn meter. It doesn’t come with an accuracy rate or anything but when it hits the effect doesn’t always trigger. Is this because of the opposing champions resistance or something? Oh and yes hes fully ascended
But does Turnmeter manipulation also work in the other direction? For Example when i use Rhazin Scarhides A3 to reset their Turnmeter to 0% and straight after that Nethrils A3 to reduce it by another 75%? Or would that just be a waste of skills and i should wait till they have more than 75% to use my Turnmeter manipulations most effectively?
If Rhazin and Nethril are both taking turns on the same tick (both turn meters are past 100), then yes it would be a waste, but if Rhazin goes and then Nethril goes on next tick, the enemy team (and your team) will gain some turn meter, and Nethril skill should reduce the enemy team’s turn meter again (still may be a waste because they will have little turn meter)
Hey Raid make extra champion space at least enough to have 3 of each one. That way I can really collect them all and keep opening shards to upgrade their skills fully. I would spend 1000 gems for 10 extra space. I bet there are more players who also wish that.
Not only are you hard to look at but at this point I would rather listen to a infinite loop of a chalk screech recording then actually listen to you for one more second. The fact that you managed to make a video that last 12 minutes about a subject that can be covered in 5 says it all.

Not necessarily, given the fact that overflow exists and that it doesn't carry over once the turn meter resets. If there is a speed value that would fill up the turn meter to exactly 100% (and 50% respectively) with no overflow then yes, otherwise the overflow will mess it up
No, author dont say, that any "tik" was happend, all speed metr will fill on 10-15%. It means, that when champ A did his turn and will have 0% speed, opponent will have 12,5% ))) so 10/5 will when champ A has 250 speed, B only 100
In the game, the speed in numbers, not in% - they messed up something here. % works with the speed indicator, so you need to add to 30% (30 * 1.3 = 9) 9%, and not immediately 30%
still nothing on what happens if two allies have the same overall speed. i'm guess that's what he meant by speed tuning? anyways, here's my example and testing: athel and apothecary both had 202 speed. athel had base 104, while apothecary had base 101. no matter where on the team i put them, in whatever order, apothecary would go first. fully ascended apothecary to get him to 106 base speed. messed around with his gear to get him back down to 202 overall speed. now athel goes first regardless of where i put her. i bet there still more to it, but overall the case seems to be if two allies have the same speed, then whoever has the lowest base speed will go first between the two.
Are you sure you're not missing potential decimals (which aren't displayed) somewhere along the way? I'm asking because with those speed numbers you're likely using at least one Speed set (which increases the speed by % and not a flat amount, so there will likely be some decimals that you can't see)
@@Crimsonglade could be, but i didn't change sets between the two experiments. i just gave apothecary weaker speed boots, so it was a whole number, not a decimal from say, removing or adding a new speed artifact pair. the thing is, even if i am missing decimals, wouldn't they in turn make apothecary go first AFTER i increased his base speed? the change on apothecary was: case 1 - apothecary has 101 base speed, 3 speed artifact sets on him, and lore of steel. athel has 104 base speed, 1 offense and 1 lifesteal set, and lore of steel. they both end up with 202 speed. apothecary goes first in every situation i could match him up with athel. case 2 - apothecary has 106 base speed, 3 speed artifacts sets on him, and lore of steel. athel has 104 base speed, 1 offense and 1 lifesteal set, and lore of steel. they both end up with 202 speed. athel now goes first in every situation i could match her up with apothecary. in both cases, no speed boon or turn meter manipulation is taking place prior to their initial turns. my guess was that, like you said, base speed should decide it, just like it does with speed boons. but for whatever reason, here it's the opposite. the only difference between the two cases was increasing apothecary's speed from what i can tell, and it resulted in him going after athel now. if i recall correctly, counter attacks also have some set turn order in how they act after getting hit. i'm guessing this is just one of those hidden rules that plarium doesn't want to release to keep the game "interesting".

In both cases you have 3x Speed sets and lore of steel which is (12% x 3) x 1.15 = 41.4% of your base speed is gained from the Speed sets. In case 1 you have 101 x 0.414 = 41.814 Speed from your set bonuses. 202 - 41.814 = 160.186 speed without the % increase, which isn't possible. Your actual speed without the % bonus from the sets is probably 160 which would make your real total 201.814 (if it rounds up for display purposes) OR 161 with the real total of 202.814 (if it rounds down to the whole number for display purposes). If he goes first then he should have the second speed meaning it rounds down. In case 2 you have 106 x 0.414 = 43.884 Speed from your set bonuses. 202 - 43.884 = 158.116 speed without the % increase, which like before means that your actual speed without the set bonuses is 158 with the real total of 201.884 (if it rounds up) OR 159 with the real total of 202.884 (if it rounds down). if he goes second then he should have the first speed meaning it rounds up. With this out there we can see that there's something weird going on for sure assuming absolutely no other turn meter shenanigans from other masteries are involved. /shrug
I think you 2 peeps are miscalculating & not factoring in Speed Aura's. Lore of Steal does 15% increase off of the Artifact Percentage amount. Speed Set has 12% increase. 15% times 12% = 0.018 or 1.8% added 12% + 1.8% = 13.8% Total Or you can do it as: 115% times 12% = 0.138 or 13.8% Total Apothacury Base Speed is 106 times 13.8% = 14.628 14.628 Speed times 3 Speed set Bonuses = 43.884 43.884 Speed is how much should be added on to Apothacury from set bonuses. However, This is only helping you determine the Total Speed on the hero outside the fight. The Total Speed a Hero has in a fight can change if a Speed Aura is added as leader. Speed Aura's percentages are multiplied by each heroes Base Speed. Than the amount is added on. So for example: Let's say you have High Khatun has Leader with 19% Speed Aura. Apothacury & Athel entering the fight will both be at 202 Speed. However, During the fight, Apothacury should go first. Speed Aura 19% is going to multiply by Apoth base speed of 106 = 20.14 Speed Aura 19% is going to multiply by Athel base speed of 103 = 19 So prior to entering the fight they will both be 202 During the fight, Apoth will be at 222.14 Speed During the fight, Athel will be at 221 Speed
@@Crimsonglade hmm....that does clear it up. i checked in game, and apoth had 161 speed in case 1 before %, and 158 speed in case 2 before %. athel had 202 speed in both. case 1 has 202.8 speed on apoth according to your calculations, and case 2 had 201.8 speed on apoth. now i wonder, why did it round down on the first case, but round up in the second? does .81 go to 8 and that rounds down? and .88 go to 9 and that round up? cuz that is wonky O.o also, it makes me curious to see what happens with no % at all. guess that'll be the next experiment i try to set up.....once the next week of tournaments and events is over -_- thanks for the input o/

I am just hoping that you all rework speed values. I’m not in endgame content and I’m finding that of all of the gear sets that this game has, there’s 1 that matters, speed. You don’t even decent other stats as long as you have 200-300 speed. Likewise, it doesn’t matter how much good stuff you have, if it isn’t a speed set it doesn’t matter what is on it. I’d like to see some versatility in the game rather than “formula A wins.” I hope any new players coming here see this and don’t waste their time farming or putting together ANYTHING but speed. Turn meters and their manipulation are so crucial that you can't make AI use turn meter manipulation skills on auto. Just try Lyssandra against fire knight boss round... She forgets how to use a2, exhaustion, same with Scarhide's a3, Bog Down, not a single use on boss. Mother example is Maneater a2 on spider, only uses it on auto if you manually target queen, but manually targeting queen stuffs up other heroes aoe applications... Needs to be fixed, they've got the skills just let them use them ffs.

This last fusion event is ridiculous! And I got ripped off. You guys decided to shutdown for maintenance in the middle of a tournament with a little under 30 mins left. By the time the game allowedd me to log back on I was in 2nd place and this other player somehow got a bunch of points. Dont know how he got to play during maintenance? I spent money on speed packs to make sure I won. I feel robbed!
urs explain not enough.. if turnmeter important for game, lets give more information and right mathematics. How to working ? for example, Apothecary base speed = 106, total speed =200, if apothecary used the %30 speed boost + %15 fill turnmeter.... now what is apothecary speed for first "tik" and second "tik", because %15 fill turnmeter just for first "tik" for speed boost questions ; a) 106 * %30 speed boost = 137.8 (200-106=94 other bonus speed), 137.8 + 94 = 231.8 speed ? or b) 200 * %30 speed boost = 260 speed ? and what is all turnmeter total number ? because its not endless.. Think two hero, A have 260 total speed, B have 170 total speed. if A hero "apothecary" using 260 speed, what is every "tik" speed, how many "tik" after filling turnmeter ? and B hero "nightmare clan boss" using 170 speed what is every "tik" speed. every "tik" 260 for apothecary ? or another number ?? Apothecary filled turnmeter. and used %30 speed bonus... (now what is apothecary new speed for other "tik" and next for 2 round ? and continues other skill effect, its filling %15 turnmeter for using skill between first "tik". but what is fill %15 turnmeter ? a) 260 speed + %15 ? b) yellow bar point number ( btw, its unknown ?) * %15 = unknown %15 ? c) other unknown ? please make a better explanation and add subtitle. ty.

And yet Shields absorb poison dmg where bombs ignore shields lol wtf kinda halfassed backwards seeing you land a poison, they become poisoned but shields protect 100%
I kinda like the game but what I absolutely despise is that this company much like Activision with WoW thinks more rng = more fun up to a point when it becomes fucking ridiculous and all about luck rather than skill

We speak about turn meter. We speak how to use it in the afk arena. But we don't speak, that afk arena is bulshit. No rating. No static rewards. No top players list.
Why bother levelling your champion when in arena, those with higher speed wins. It is a stupid system. Anyone with highest speed wins in Arena. Something needs to be done.

Отсюда получается, что герой со скоростью 200 не будет ходить в два раза чаще чем со скоростью 100. Для этого первому герою надо иметь примерно 226 скорости

Raid: Shadow Legends уже сделаны, просто тот факт что у меня нет легендарного персонажа при том что я донатил меня сильно бесит( с ребята которые играют месяц имеют по 2 легендарных персонажа) где справедливость. Разработчики могли бы раз в пол года давать игрокам кристал с рандомным легендарным персонажем

Incredibly defensive teams exist - speed is a strong stat, but is hard coutered by a massively defensive team with sustain

The problem isn't necessarily speed - it's ABSOLUTE speed. It should be somewhat randomized like damage rolls.

So I use a stitched beast which has an ascended skill called pack tactics. It says it fully depletes targets turn meter. It doesn’t come with an accuracy rate or anything but when it hits the effect doesn’t always trigger. Is this because of the opposing champions resistance or something? Oh and yes hes fully ascended
Do all champions have the same amount in their speed bar? Or do some champions have to fill up more than others
But does Turnmeter manipulation also work in the other direction? For Example when i use Rhazin Scarhides A3 to reset their Turnmeter to 0% and straight after that Nethrils A3 to reduce it by another 75%? Or would that just be a waste of skills and i should wait till they have more than 75% to use my Turnmeter manipulations most effectively?
If Rhazin and Nethril are both taking turns on the same tick (both turn meters are past 100), then yes it would be a waste, but if Rhazin goes and then Nethril goes on next tick, the enemy team (and your team) will gain some turn meter, and Nethril skill should reduce the enemy team’s turn meter again (still may be a waste because they will have little turn meter)
If you are running two turn meter decreases you should have them going 1-3 or 2-4 have a tick in between

Hey Raid make extra champion space at least enough to have 3 of each one. That way I can really collect them all and keep opening shards to upgrade their skills fully. I would spend 1000 gems for 10 extra space. I bet there are more players who also wish that.

Not necessarily, given the fact that overflow exists and that it doesn't carry over once the turn meter resets. If there is a speed value that would fill up the turn meter to exactly 100% (and 50% respectively) with no overflow then yes, otherwise the overflow will mess it up
No, author dont say, that any "tik" was happend, all speed metr will fill on 10-15%. It means, that when champ A did his turn and will have 0% speed, opponent will have 12,5% ))) so 10/5 will when champ A has 250 speed, B only 100

In the game, the speed in numbers, not in% - they messed up something here.
% works with the speed indicator, so you need to add to 30% (30 * 1.3 = 9) 9%, and not immediately 30%

ChampionA is not plural. You would say "ChampionA's turn meter", not "Champions A turn meter".
still nothing on what happens if two allies have the same overall speed. i'm guess that's what he meant by speed tuning? anyways, here's my example and testing:
athel and apothecary both had 202 speed. athel had base 104, while apothecary had base 101. no matter where on the team i put them, in whatever order, apothecary would go first.
fully ascended apothecary to get him to 106 base speed. messed around with his gear to get him back down to 202 overall speed. now athel goes first regardless of where i put her.
i bet there still more to it, but overall the case seems to be if two allies have the same speed, then whoever has the lowest base speed will go first between the two.
Are you sure you're not missing potential decimals (which aren't displayed) somewhere along the way? I'm asking because with those speed numbers you're likely using at least one Speed set (which increases the speed by % and not a flat amount, so there will likely be some decimals that you can't see)
@@Crimsonglade could be, but i didn't change sets between the two experiments. i just gave apothecary weaker speed boots, so it was a whole number, not a decimal from say, removing or adding a new speed artifact pair.
the thing is, even if i am missing decimals, wouldn't they in turn make apothecary go first AFTER i increased his base speed? the change on apothecary was:
case 1 - apothecary has 101 base speed, 3 speed artifact sets on him, and lore of steel. athel has 104 base speed, 1 offense and 1 lifesteal set, and lore of steel. they both end up with 202 speed. apothecary goes first in every situation i could match him up with athel.
case 2 - apothecary has 106 base speed, 3 speed artifacts sets on him, and lore of steel. athel has 104 base speed, 1 offense and 1 lifesteal set, and lore of steel. they both end up with 202 speed. athel now goes first in every situation i could match her up with apothecary.
in both cases, no speed boon or turn meter manipulation is taking place prior to their initial turns. my guess was that, like you said, base speed should decide it, just like it does with speed boons. but for whatever reason, here it's the opposite. the only difference between the two cases was increasing apothecary's speed from what i can tell, and it resulted in him going after athel now.
if i recall correctly, counter attacks also have some set turn order in how they act after getting hit. i'm guessing this is just one of those hidden rules that plarium doesn't want to release to keep the game "interesting".
@@gambittides So here's why the whole decimals thing comes into play.
In both cases you have 3x Speed sets and lore of steel which is (12% x 3) x 1.15 = 41.4% of your base speed is gained from the Speed sets.
In case 1 you have 101 x 0.414 = 41.814 Speed from your set bonuses. 202 - 41.814 = 160.186 speed without the % increase, which isn't possible. Your actual speed without the % bonus from the sets is probably 160 which would make your real total 201.814 (if it rounds up for display purposes) OR 161 with the real total of 202.814 (if it rounds down to the whole number for display purposes). If he goes first then he should have the second speed meaning it rounds down.
In case 2 you have 106 x 0.414 = 43.884 Speed from your set bonuses. 202 - 43.884 = 158.116 speed without the % increase, which like before means that your actual speed without the set bonuses is 158 with the real total of 201.884 (if it rounds up) OR 159 with the real total of 202.884 (if it rounds down). if he goes second then he should have the first speed meaning it rounds up.
With this out there we can see that there's something weird going on for sure assuming absolutely no other turn meter shenanigans from other masteries are involved.

I think you 2 peeps are miscalculating & not factoring in Speed Aura's.
Lore of Steal does 15% increase off of the Artifact Percentage amount.
Speed Set has 12% increase.
15% times 12% = 0.018 or 1.8% added
12% + 1.8% = 13.8% Total
Or you can do it as:
115% times 12% = 0.138 or 13.8% Total
Apothacury Base Speed is 106 times 13.8% = 14.628
14.628 Speed times 3 Speed set Bonuses = 43.884
43.884 Speed is how much should be added on to Apothacury from set bonuses.
However, This is only helping you determine the Total Speed on the hero outside the fight.
The Total Speed a Hero has in a fight can change if a Speed Aura is added as leader.
Speed Aura's percentages are multiplied by each heroes Base Speed.
Than the amount is added on.
So for example:
Let's say you have High Khatun has Leader with 19% Speed Aura.
Apothacury & Athel entering the fight will both be at 202 Speed.
However, During the fight, Apothacury should go first.
Speed Aura 19% is going to multiply by Apoth base speed of 106 = 20.14
Speed Aura 19% is going to multiply by Athel base speed of 103 = 19
So prior to entering the fight they will both be 202
During the fight, Apoth will be at 222.14 Speed
During the fight, Athel will be at 221 Speed
@@Crimsonglade hmm....that does clear it up. i checked in game, and apoth had 161 speed in case 1 before %, and 158 speed in case 2 before %. athel had 202 speed in both. case 1 has 202.8 speed on apoth according to your calculations, and case 2 had 201.8 speed on apoth.
now i wonder, why did it round down on the first case, but round up in the second? does .81 go to 8 and that rounds down? and .88 go to 9 and that round up? cuz that is wonky O.o also, it makes me curious to see what happens with no % at all. guess that'll be the next experiment i try to set up.....once the next week of tournaments and events is over -_-

I just hate seeing all the comments on the F2P crowd complaining. Even as a F2P game it offers so much. I can not praise this game enough, best mobile game i've found by far!!

I am just hoping that you all rework speed values. I’m not in endgame content and I’m finding that of all of the gear sets that this game has, there’s 1 that matters, speed. You don’t even decent other stats as long as you have 200-300 speed. Likewise, it doesn’t matter how much good stuff you have, if it isn’t a speed set it doesn’t matter what is on it. I’d like to see some versatility in the game rather than “formula A wins.” I hope any new players coming here see this and don’t waste their time farming or putting together ANYTHING but speed. Good luck y’all

Turn meters and their manipulation are so crucial that you can't make AI use turn meter manipulation skills on auto. Just try Lyssandra against fire knight boss round... She forgets how to use a2, exhaustion, same with Scarhide's a3, Bog Down, not a single use on boss. Mother example is Maneater a2 on spider, only uses it on auto if you manually target queen, but manually targeting queen stuffs up other heroes aoe applications... Needs to be fixed, they've got the skills just let them use them ffs.

This last fusion event is ridiculous! And I got ripped off. You guys decided to shutdown for maintenance in the middle of a tournament with a little under 30 mins left. By the time the game allowedd me to log back on I was in 2nd place and this other player somehow got a bunch of points. Dont know how he got to play during maintenance? I spent money on speed packs to make sure I won. I feel robbed!

How to working ?
for example, Apothecary base speed = 106, total speed =200, if apothecary used the %30 speed boost + %15 fill turnmeter....
now what is apothecary speed for first "tik" and second "tik", because %15 fill turnmeter just for first "tik"
for speed boost questions ;
a) 106 * %30 speed boost = 137.8 (200-106=94 other bonus speed), 137.8 + 94 = 231.8 speed ?
or
b) 200 * %30 speed boost = 260 speed ?
and what is all turnmeter total number ? because its not endless..
Think two hero, A have 260 total speed, B have 170 total speed.
if A hero "apothecary" using 260 speed, what is every "tik" speed, how many "tik" after filling turnmeter ?
and B hero "nightmare clan boss" using 170 speed what is every "tik" speed.

Решили не говорить, что если у всех героев будет 100% полоски хода и выше, а один чемп будет с пустой, то по их логике сначала походят все герои с полной полоской, а потом начнет только заполнятся шкала отстающего))) Но на самом деле его шкала при любом тике будет заполнятся на 12,5%. Отсюда получается, что герой со скоростью 200 не будет ходить в два раза чаще чем со скоростью 100. Для этого первому герою надо иметь примерно 226 скорости

Raid: Shadow Legends уже сделаны, просто тот факт что у меня нет легендарного персонажа при том что я донатил меня сильно бесит( с ребята которые играют месяц имеют по 2 легендарных персонажа) где справедливость. Разработчики могли бы раз в пол года давать игрокам кристал с рандомным легендарным персонажем
