Mine is 7 years old and 14 pounds (and a perfect weight). He's an awesome companion dog who is intelligent as well as adaptable. Great in both a small apartment or a house. Sometimes he gets a little stubborn, but that is rare. He's also a terrible guard dog, and hardly ever barks. Negative feedback doesn't work, they just melt and don't learn. Positive reinforcement works wonders. Mine loves to dance for cheese.

My coton de tulear is 11 years old, but he’s not 8-11 pounds, he’s 5 and he very small ! 😅 but for real, this dog is the dog who want only hug and love you whiteout knowing you!
