Don’t feel bad about not liking the pen loop. We all have our preferences. I have that same TN, but in passport and its so cute, but I have contemplated cutting off the pen loop so many times!

Not a problem :) it is passport size so the pocketbooks are a little bit long but it’s the only size the small one is available in and I wouldn’t trade it. I’m going to use the paper cutter and cut down the pocket notebooks a little bit. Easy fix! I do wish they would make one in pocket size because I have a lot of inserts already but for now I love this thing! Thank you for your reply.
I can use my Field Notes in this cover - which are the same size as my pocket inserts. I did order a passport cover and I did a video flip of that one. Now that one will not hold field notes or pocket inserts. It is way too little and can only hold passport size. The other one (this one) is so versatile that it can hold both! Plus - I love the extra strings and reinforced spine! But - for my money - NO ONE makes a better pocket than Chic Sparrows Mr Darcy! I’d grab that if the house was on fire!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ohhhhh I love how you’ve done this! I’ve been using Travelers notebooks for some years now, even though I have lots of Filofaxes! The Kraft colour is better on your eyes, I may have to look into this because I’m using lined white inserts. Those book stickers are fabulous, and I have the other ones (with the blank areas on). They’re so useful! Thank you for sharing this, it’s great to see a flip through , you always have the best ideas! I hope you’re both doing well and yay for getting out together! Have a great weekend!

You say that TN cost maybe $29, not expensive, however, a lot of fun stuff went into it, I love the zipper pockets. What a neat idea to have them. I love that old earthy stickers. I like the one of a hand holding out an old time lantern when you decorated future pages. The tiny lined post it notes, so cute. There are all kinds of little surprises in this notebook. ❤️

I have broken out my pocket tn lately too, and decided to make a nano size tn. That I got a nano tn cover from temu.
Side note I make all my clear covers for the tn from laminating paper. And I make all adhesive pockets now too

I absolutely adore how you decorate all of your planners whether rings or TNs. It reminds me so much of junk journaling. I make junk journals and interactive journals for gifts and I’ve never combined the 2 crafts together and idk why 😂.

I totally loved this video! Pocket TN is my size!!! I love your setup. It is so cute! You are creative. I love rings and TN's for different reasons, as I am sure you do as well. I mostly stick with the pocket TN. Also, I don't know if you noticed, but the pocket TN paper is actually bigger than the pocket ring paper. I stack my strings like you do, with the three bulky compartments. I love the folders, and pockets inside the three compartments, because they add fun and excitement to see what is in every little space. lol So far this year (what six weeks maybe), I have been using a planner is the the weeks size (meaning Hobonichi Weeks size, but a different company). I love it, but again there are pluses and minuses to have a bound book versus a TN with strings that you can switch up. I have already been tempted several times to switch back to pocket TN. Now watching your video, it makes it worse! haha Plus I already stuck my favorite stickers all over the weeks planner I have. lol Watch at your next video I will say I am back in a pocket TN. Good morning Angie Girrrrl ! I could read this all day - great planner tips and strategies. I ALSO have a bound planner - a Pocket Moleskine Daily 2024 and I love that too. But - this pocket TN is rockin my world right now!!!!! I wish so bad more people did flip videos. I end up rewatching many of my favs. So now I’m using a pocket rings, a pocket TN and a pocket Moleskine. I need to start selling all my personal size covers. I don’t think I’ll ever want to lug those heavy things around again. BUT…. I’ll keep one JUST IN CASE! 😛😛😛😛

Hello Christine, I stumbled across your channel, and I fell head over heels with ur TN NOTEBOOK all ur inserts were awesome, especially I noticed ur brown paper, I wanted some type of paper but I didn't want that white stuff, YOU are the only person that has given me the answer I was looking for. I'm definitely hanging onto ur channel, to guide me with the inserts I will need, however, I want to hand craft my own leather TN NOTEBOOK, and when completed I want to add brass metal corner protectors, I also want to add a piece of leather added to the elastic that goes around the whole TN, I feel this will add extra protection to the outside leather & the edge of the papers from within. As I gather ideas from each UA-cam channel, I will be able to make my journal different from everyone else, ❤❤❤

After only using OG Travelers Notebooks for my EDC planner and art journal, I recently acquired a September Leather A6 cover for my Commonplace book. I love it and its so amazingly priced. You keep.referring to this as a,pocket but the link you posted takes me to a passport size. Passport is smaller than poket. So are you using field notes sizes like you show in your Mr darcy? If field notes or moleskine.won't fit I wouldn't want to.order. Can you let me know please
I am so sorry. Yes - you are right. It’s a passport as listed on Amazon. I am using passport inserts in it. My Darcy is a pocket and I use Field Notes inserts in that one. I did put my Field Notes inserts in this Amazon cover and they do fit. So that is why I kept calling it a pocket.
You could use either size in it. That’s why I love it. It’s made so well with the reinforced spine. I will never get rid of it. And for the price???? I don’t know how they do it ? Thank you so much for watching and commenting!

Where do you find all thr cute deco ? Like for the pockets and such? Do you make it? Do you know if the tiny moleskine books will fit this? I have some of them just no cover hence why I was considering this one.

You are so welcome! Now please note: the field notes fit but they are the same exact size as the cover so there is no extra room at the top and bottom like there is when I have the passport inserts. ALL the deco came from Amazon and I linked it all. The whole planner and contents was sooooo affordable despite that I love it regardless of cost ! 👍🏻🌸👍🏻🌸👍🏻
