Busy bees is a good tourist trap for fish n chips but youd be better going up into old town to Gabby's its where all the locals go
No it’s not the locals go to Jackson’s on baylgate they used to go 149 but Jackson’s now
Ship To Shore on Flamborough Road is better, and cheaper.

@ianmcmanus5088 it's not a bad Chippy. They've got a really large menu and cater for vegetarians and vegans but from the Purist's point of view it's way off being the best.
Gabbys in the old town is the best ...very big portions
They have a menu full of variety and large portions but their fish certainly isn't the best
I like the kebabs from the takeaway behind him at the beginning.

Find a chippy in skeggy that comes even close to brid, Hornsea or scarboro fish&chips ... im yet to find one!

Yes, you can. That is a crime against good taste. Chips and mushy peas are the only things that should accompany haddock (the best fish).
