I loved Phaedra. I really think she could’ve won it if she wasn’t playing with so many friends. She was exhausted from lying to people she cared about. Kate could’ve won it if she had kept her emotions in check at the round table. She did a hell of a job getting Sandra’s friends to turn on her. She made a couple of rookie moves. Especially at the fire pit when Kate threw the green bag.
I love your content!! You speak with such passion, and your voice is so soothing. The music in The Traitors is truly top tier and when they’re going to the round table, it’s really giving me Katniss singing The Hanging Tree from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.

I agree with everything you said. I OVED this season. I think it was even better than last season. My ideal ending would have been CT and Sandra winning together, so I got half of what I wanted. I don't like Trishelle as a person, but I can't deny that she played a great game and was a deserving winner so it was a satisfying ending. The star of the season has to be Phaedra for me. I had no clue who she was and had never heard of her before this season but now I'm a huge fan. She was pretty bad strategy-wise, but boy did she deliver in every other aspect. She was absolutely hilarious and as far as the social game goes, she was perfect. I have watched several international versions of this show and when it comes to defending herself at the round table, Phaedra is the GOAT. John Bercow was iconic in his round table speeches as well and I would love to see a loop of these two going at each other for several minutes straight, lol.

I need to semi vent about this season tbh so I am gonna do it here, incredible video as always, incredible review as always, obvi a huge fan and love seeing the full circle moment from ur first video to now! Idk i was very excited for this season, but it just did not do it for me as much as season 1 did. I was frustrated half the time, it got really weird on social media, and it felt like for such an all star cast, the strategy was nowhere near as good, exciting, or fun to watch as season one after Parvati left. I've only seen traitors UK 2, US 1 and 2, and AU 1, id say this was better than AU 1, but thats prob it for me. The traitors themselves were good, and I loved all of them, but they weren't good at the game really, which sucks because the format of the show kind of relies on the traitors to be solid. Dan obviously was fun to see again, but I hate that people are trying to say Dan was bitter or trying to ruin the game, when he did the exact same type of moves he did in both his big brother games, laying low and waiting to take a big swing to then try and control the game. The only difference this time is he met his match, which is INCREDIBLE, but it's frustrating that people still try to pin blame on him when really there were multiple ways for every traitor to navigate their game in a winning direction. CT I enjoy as a winner, and even if I'm not a Trishelle fan, I see why and respect that she did win. They both played a good game, and as a person who has never seen the challenge, I became a CT fan from this show, still prob wont watch Challenge cuz it's just not my thing. I also think the Bravo players are valid in being bitter, because they don't understand these games compared to the gamers nearly as well, but I do hope they over time move past that and can recognize the fun to be had with a game called THE TRAITORS, you know, where TRAITORS lie, backstab, and so on. Cast more drag race stars PLEASE. Ever since your video on Drag race I've gotten myself and some friends to do watch parties of seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, All Stars, 5, and 6, and I have also seen All Star 2 and season 8. There are SO MANY queens I'd love to see, like Phi Phi, Jinkxs, Yara, Mimi, Tammy, Alyssa, like I could go ON it would be iconic. Overall, Fun in the first half, kind of dragging by the second half, didn't even mention terrible editing choices, overly long release schedule, bad twists, and all that, but with an iconic cast and fun TV moments, It's definitely better than Australia season 1, but that's prob it of what I've watched. Hope to see more traitors next year, but please, DO NOT BRING BANANAS BACK (between house of villains and this I need him to be off my screen for a while)
oh I completely understand the problems people have with this season and I don’t argue any of that. I think watching this cast play out no matter what the outcome was, I was going to be happy and satisfied, and CT winning made me more than satisfied. This gives similar vibes to survivor winners at war to me. A season that has insane expectations due to the cast, and the editing or the actual season itself wasn’t as action packed or exciting from beginning to end as it was hyped up to be, but due to just watching these people interact and play the game I loved nearly every minute of it. I know I’m much higher on winners at war than most while acknowledging the flaws, just like im higher on this season than most.

i somewhat disagree about peter's elimination being laughable because the point of contention there is that he was recruited as a traitor AFTER his good deeds to the faithful, parvati & phaedra being the ones planting the seeds. the evidence against phaedra was or at least appeared to be circumstantial (except the twitchy eye i guess?), while peter literally confessed to colluding with confirmed traitors behind everyone's backs. but the funny thing is, at his last roundtable he got his last argument in about his allegiances and it was left uncontested!!! phaedra clearly lost her steam at that point but managed to sway the vote by inertia. but of course, the denial AFTER peter's reveal was very telling of some of the cast members lol
I agree with you about twitter being stupid. Sometimes players have to make moves to try and defend themselves, and in a social deduction game, your fav going out isn't the result of someone being bitter. I mean, what was dan else going to do, accuse parvati which everyone would've done anyway? and phaedra screwed up strategically, she didn't do the moves nessicary to hide herself, and her killing all of peter's group came to haunt her when the evidence soon clocked up on her. Personally, I think Ct and Trishele are pretty good winners, they did what they needed to. While I don't know trishele, and didn't expect the internet reaction over her over peppermint, I think trishele made the right move to slow down after peppermint was revealed as a faithful, slowing down and thinking things in more detail, and making sure to apologize before peppermint went. It at least allowed her to pull herself back up, and after that little mess up, she had a pretty good traitor radar. That finale just SHOCKED ME, I did not expect a f3 vote off between faithfuls. that was genually surprising for me, and pretty tragic, while MJ deffidently screwed up as a player, I do feel sorry for her, given how tragic the circumstances were, but I hope MJ can come to recognize this is a game. Good review, but yeah, had some thoughts over this season.

This season was fun and the cast was stacked, but I do think that the sum of its parts were greater than the whole. Like each of the traitors (Dan, Phaedra, Parvati, and Kate) were all very iconic people and they were all excellent in the confessionals (and Phaedra especially at the roundtables!), however, they weren't a cohesive unit. Obvious fumbles aside, them taking turns each week on who got to pick the murder was not super helpful to the long term strategy. I did really enjoy that we got yet another different ending to the season. I'm a big fan of CT, so him winning was satisfying for me. Love her or hate her, Trishelle is iconic; and aside from her controversial targeting of Peppermint (truly robbed!), she did play a good game, so I'm not mad at her winning either. This season had a lot of good soundbites, but I think if I wanted to revisit this season, I'd watch a compilation video instead of doing a full rewatch. That said, if Sandra had won out, it would definitely be a much better season for me personally lol.

As a fan of The Challenge, I was hyped with CT winning. Glad that Bananas got eliminated first because he just seems like a POS of a human being. All of the dirtbag things that he's done on The Challenge.. it was just good to see. But Trishelle, oouuff.. idk. If you havent watched The Challenge, she has a tendency to say racially insensitive things and borderline, flatout racist comments about cast mates. Just Google Trishelle and The Challenge Controversies and youll see what I mean. MTV has a habit of allowing bullying, racial discrimination and bad treatment on The Challenge. ESPECIALLY after The Challenge S30 and Camila's drunken racist rants against one of the fan favorites. After that, they started tightening up how they handle things because MTV started getting so much flak about allowing these issues to consistently happen. CT was a redemption story of The Challenge, he used to fight his cast mates and cause problems, but he was one of the physical BEST competitors the show has ever seen. Even now, 40 seasons in and CT is STILL probably the best competitor on that show. After becoming a dad, CT has grown a lot, and you can easily see those grown up qualities in this show that allowed him to win.

I love your video and here are my opinions of this season 1.For the Most Part I Loved the Cast more than Season 1, my only complaint with the Cast is I wish that it was 11 men and 11 women. Also I wish that Kate did not come into the game mid-way through the game. 2.As a Fan of Johnny Bananas I wish that he was not killed first and I hope he can play again in Season 3 or a Future Season to see how he would do. 3.I think Peter was the best player to have been a Faithful, and I liked his strategies on catching a Traitor. 4. I did not like Sandra as a Faithful because I believed she played a Faithful game as if she was a Traitor. 5.Unpopular Opinion, I am not just saying this because Dan is my favorite Big Brother Player of all time but I do not think he was the worst Traitor of all time nor do I think he was a bad Traitor. I honestly think that they were equal. Agree on some points, completely disagree on Sandra. She approached the game as a faithful the way you SHOULD. No matter what you do, there are going to be traitors near the end of the game because even if you get them out, they will recruit. No matter what position you are put into, your goal is to make it to the end of the game because most of the people in the game are faithful, and most of them are going to be eliminated by either murder or banishment. Approaching the game as ‘we just need to get out the traitors’ doesn’t really do anything for you because there will always be new traitors that replace them. Looking at it as an alliance or a numbers game is actually the smartest thing to do and to keep people in the game that benefit you as an individual no matter what their allegiance is or is not.
If Dan did to Sandra what he did to Phaedra it would be WW3 in the reality tv community.

Personally, I think Ct and Trishele are pretty good winners, they did what they needed to. No matter what you do, there are going to be traitors near the end of the game because even if you get them out, they will recruit. No matter what position you are put into, your goal is to make it to the end of the game because most of the people in the game are faithful, and most of them are going to be eliminated by either murder or banishment. Approaching the game as ‘we just need to get out the traitors’ doesn’t really do anything for you because there will always be new traitors that replace them. Looking at it as an alliance or a numbers game is actually the smartest thing to do and to keep people in the game that benefit you as an individual no matter what their allegiance is or is not.

I love CT but this is not the challenge.
It’s still a weak season compared to other franchise. Heck even season 1 of Uk beat this strategy wise but still very entertaining
