Something I keep wondering is if anyone ever experimented with decks that are set neutral, so both skates are the same. The benefit is that then you don't need to care which is your left skate and which is your right. Given that one can any case can ride them switched and you might adjust your feet slightly off from how the decks are set anyway. Jack seems to ride with his feet almost parallel a lot of the time?
I made my own set with non-angled decks. I don't recommend it. When you do throw tricks on angled decks only the corner drags the ground. When the decks are not angled the whole edge will drag the ground, making throw tricks basically impossible. If all you do is cruise then maybe that's fine.
I wear toe shoes for free skating! I've never seen anyone use them, but it gives AMAZING control.

I would love a more in depth video on how reverse pumping works and how to actually get better at it. I’ve tried to do it but I just can’t figure it out.
i get that a 360 cam is best for capturing everything but this isn't helpful for visual learners at all, the warping of everything is pretty confusing to look at and translate that into using freeskates.
Thanks for the feedback! It’s definitely easier to skate around town this way but I can totally see how the angle messes with things. Will consider that for some videos in the future 👍

Do certain shoes make a difference when using the free skates
Yes, I tried 3 different shoes. You really need flat skate shoes with a decent amount of padding so you wear out your feet slower.
16:08 yeah, I appreciate that but the jmk cores break way too easily for me, for example, the last set I bought broke on the first outing. . . I think I've settled on abec11s, I have to grind them down to fit the trucks and they are more expensive, but I've spent heaps of $ on jmk wheels and the bearing hubs just don't last.
12:40 so i didnt ride over poop what happened was that iwent to a skatepark and it was just littered with flower from trees i rode in the skatepark and the flowers all clumped up on to my wheels and i was wondering how to get rid of them i found that out myself and its bassically just riding them or you can grab a stick and scrape it off
There's a lot of really rough crosswalks where I live that are made of big stone tiles with uneven gaps that will kill all my momentum, so do you have any tips, how I could get over them?
Another question... Has anyone done any custom paint jobs on skates or have any tips for doing so?
I cant seem to do backside 180 in the switch position to come back to regular after a throwback for example, I can ride switch but I am not able to do it, any tips?

Yes, but it is hard to get speed, friction is the secret to pump.
Yes, I skate inside a building with glossy floors on my campus. You don't want too much speed inside, though that's how it gets risky.
