Also, I own a longboard, not a skateboard so I use it primarily for skating around the block and not tricks. Sorry for the confusion but tutorials did help and it made it easy for me because I already knew the basics of it including how to stop and gain speed. People say it's bad for the trucks but that's not true , it's called a "mall grab" because it's usually done by people who are using a skateboard as an accessory for example, in a mall, rather than actually skating, so it can make you seem like a poser, there's no actual reason to not mall grab other than people might assume you don't actually skate

Mine was actually run over, but it's a loaded board, so very bouncy. With the way the car went over it my board just touched the ground in the middle, then bounced right back up 😀 It was at a crosswalk btw, I wanted to use the crosswalk and pushed my board in front of me, over the train tracks there. Then a car zoomed by fast as fuck boii.
Need bigger wheels but a standard skateboard can only do so much. So.. you'll want a longboard with some thick ass wheels if you plan to go anywhere particularly pebbly.
As a newer skater, this is accurate af, I watched braille, I had no idea how to turn, I tripped on random bumps in the ground, I didn’t know how to push. I can obviously do all that stuff now and I can cruise around pretty well.
Oh my God I learned to skateboard from Braille Skateboarding from that exact video. Funniest thing is I’m legally blind and can actually read Braille, so I always thought it was super cool that’s what their channel is called. 😂😂😂
