Like they DO know NFTs are heavily critqued for being bad for the envirment right?? Like why are they promoting it to kids now as something fun and quirky??
@@Man-wolf- also like?? Even putting aside the questionable ethics of promoting somthing like nfts on a product made for children and all that, I just have to wonder who exactly this line was made for.
Like, I don’t know if most kids who buy these dolls even know what an NFT is, let alone would find it a fun quirky interest they relate to in a doll character. Most people I’ve seen who are into nfts seem to be much older (I think 20s/30s) then the demographic that these dolls are aimed at. Not saying adults can’t or aren’t interested in Glo up girls or doll collecting in general, obviously, but I somehow highly doubt there’s much overlap between NFT bros and Glow Up Girls collectors.
I can’t easily imagine the same type of people who vehemently defend spending 200000000000 trillion bucks on a poorly drawn cyberpunk monkey profile pic are going to be flocking to the toy shelves at thier local Walmart to buy glo up girls because one of them turns her dresses into nfts.
Also, what does she mean by “painting dresses and turning them into NFTs”??? Like?? Does she mean she paints pictures and designs of dresses to mint/sell as 2D nfts?? Or is it like, she literally paints onto the dress, 3D scans that as a cg model and makes it into one of those dance 3d nfts???
Does the person who wrote this bio even know what an NFT is? Let alone how they work??? Or did they just hear it in passing one time or listed as a trending subject along side art on twitter and thought it was some art buzzword to slap onto the arty “”innovative”” character to make her more hip for the kids? It wouldn’t surprise me if that were the case, honestly…

The amount of bots buying up things for scalpers on Mattel Creations Is a huge issue.
It’s true cause like a doll will triple in price on Amazon in just a few weeks or within a few days of release depending on its popularity and availability smh 🤦
The poor distribution/stocking of the creeproductions and the reel drama dolls were a disgrace 😔 one of the most disappointing things to happen this year

I feel like Mattel genuinely didn't understand the severe demand there was for Monster High reproductions. I mean, they probably assumed it would be like Barbie and just quietly sell without much fan-fair but geez...Talk about underestimating your consumers.
It was a complete miracle I was able to get my Frankie Creeproduction!
I agrée with you that they didn't know how many people wanted these dolls. But I think a very big part of the problem was also resellers. I remember before the creepros officially released, resellers were selling them for like hundreds of dollars. Mattel has got to do like literally anything about the resellers and the bots buying the dolls, it's insane
I was able to get a Frankie for my kiddo. But it was such a shame that it was so hard. And for the dolls, send them to the stores! Ask the stores to limit numbers of dolls that can be sold at one time. At least make it HARDER for the annoying scalpers.
I got 2 in person, and when I tried to order Drac and Clawdeen after the restock online, only Draculaura arrived :) and 2 weeks later my order for Clawdeen was cancelled and refunded :)
sometimes I wonder if I never emailed if they would’ve sent one after 3 weeks :(
With Roxie, what I personally just find super ironic is that she's meant to be a collector doll (something most people keep in box) yet every Roxie I've seen in stores has had a super foggy plastic window. And you compare it to the play line plastic windows right beside her and can see such a clear difference. For a doll meant designed to be kept "in box" why can't you see her clearly when she's in there?
This is literally so true lol, I bought my Roxie on from Walmart for like 40$ and the box almost makes her look lower resolution if that makes sense. She’s foggy and from a distance the detail on her dress get really muddled. The only thing I like about the box is that the colored plastic reflects purple and red off the sides of the dress. But honestly I’m just gonna unbox my Roxie and put her on my main display, keeping her boxed takes up so much space.
Even worse (?) I'm pretty sure her shoes are a recolor (I have the rh doll with those exact same shoes just in gold 😭)

I definitely think that Roxy/Roxie should’ve been a playset doll, where you could colour her hair and dress, then wash it out just with water, and she’d come with another outfit to colour, also she’d be priced at $30-$35.

Eeeww no. Her price could be lower but those color playset dolls always come with either color goo that's is a terrible mess to clean out of a doll or "washable" markers that don't ever wash out and I see so many poor Barbies and such that can't be saved because of the markers/color goop.
I hella agree with you on the Creepros. I only got Clawdeen because my best friend happened to find them and bought her for me. But I searched every Walmart possible, and never found any at all. I've still never seen the Reel Drama dolls, either. Might have to resort to Mercari for them.
yall lucky they even come to your country 💀 with such a limited line it's impossible to make it for a lot of countries, it might've been even only possible in US ,Uk and Canada

I think this is a great way of putting it. My wallet can’t keep up so I chose only to buy the dolls I really like and could find!
I always find it funny when content creators in the doll/figure community have to stress things like “this is my *personal opinion, its okay to disagree with me”* cause like… that’s the main reason I follow people in the community? To see different perspectives and opinions from people more educated than me who know their stuff? If I find someone who I think is way too distasteful or just gives me the wrong kind of vibes, yeah I’ll ignore them and move on but… Idk. I like positive people who are into things that don’t always align with what I’m into, because they let me see things I normally would skip over in a new light. Even if I still won’t personally spend my money on those things, I love to see it.

Yeah I have definitely noticed it the most with doll content creators of all the communities I am in. And it just makes me wonder, who are attacking these poor creators? What are they saying?

I know you don’t even like her, but I’m grateful for Luna Madison. Seeing her in person at the store is what made me interested in doll collecting. She is my first. I love how aggressively monochromatic her look is, in person, the all grey is such an illusion. The chrome in her dress looks robotic and alien. She’s so otherworldly compared to the Barbie’s I grew up with, and made me see dolls as more artistic than I had thought before.

Luna is honestly the most gorgeous of the dolls with the original RH face mold. The execution of her color scheme is amazing- she is such a trip to look at! I can't wait for Runway Sunny to come out next year, I think she's going to look so good displayed with her sister. 💖

No one’s mentioning these but I love the mermaze mermaidz winter waves line! Not for the full price but if you can find them half off they come with so many cute accessories and their clothes and coats look great on a lot of different dolls. I wouldn’t say they’re my biggest fav for the year (looking at G3 monster high) but I’ve had a lot of fun with them. The biggest flop for me has to be the original mermaze line tho… what was MGA thinking making their tails hollow plastic 😭
The Winter Waves line was a big step up from the initial releases.
They need legs to switch out between tails and legs for nore stuff if yall wanna argue with me about it I'm not responding you could eat a butt
Fierce Neonlicious was the doll that finally convinced me to start collecting fashion dolls. it was fr love at first sight at target. also, thanks for this video for making me figure out what her name was 😂

I would like to honorably blame this channel for pushing me over the edge this year & getting me into doll collecting. (I mean that in the best way - I never realized I could love dolls so much, even if my wallet hates it aha) I've just started this summer so I've only got some Rainbow High, Monster high, & Kikagoods girls, but I can't wait to see where this new hobby takes me!

This was the year I got back into doll collecting after years and years of feeling too old to collect (even though I was still a child). Some of my personal favorites from the year have been the lalaloopsy reboot, the monster high reboot, the omg fierce line, and just a lot of rainbow high (from rainbowvision to series four to shadow high, these dolls were the ones that got me back into something I used to be so passionate about until I felt shamed out of it. It's just been so magical getting back into something I love).
Totally agree with you on g3 monster high. I missed out on g1 completely (was in my jaded middle school years and did NOT play with dolls) so it's been such a joy to participate in this new wave of dolls. I am obsessed with their diverse body molds in particular... the emotions I felt upon looking at Draculaura for the first time with her curvier look.... this line has such love in it and so much potential for greatness.

I can’t believe 2022 is almost over. We had. So many awesome releases, a couple misses. It feels like a whirlwind and I can’t wait to see what happens in the new year. Happy and safe holidays everyone!
YESS the Monster High Creeproduction rollout was HORRIBLEE, I literally had to buy one of them dolls on Amazon for 50 God damn dollars 😭 Mattel can honestly go to hell in a handcasket for me 😒

@@QuadElementals Gurl what? 🤨 This had nothing to do with scalpers, it was MATTEL’s responsibility to manage the dolls release properly and have them available at all stores possible. How am I part of the reason they didn’t do that?

It was still the retailer's job to restock them so they could be available since that's how they were MARKETED. Scalping is not the issue, the issue is poor management. Also idk why you're trying to be a smart ass with me over a comment from 3 months ago but you need to find something else to do with your life cuz you sound miserable af
agreed with the creeproductions, i got mine simply out of luck tbh. we checked two walmarts nearby for four days straight, and the day they were finally there was the last day we were gonna check before giving up 😣 havent seen em since, i didnt even see reel drama
You don’t know how happy and validated I felt when you put G3 Monster High as your #1 fave. I genuinely adore these dolls. Frankie is practically the first doll I’ve gotten as an adult and I was so happy when I held them in my hand for the for the first time. To be able to be will a doll line from the very beginning is so awesome for me and while I understand a lot of people are upset because of how different they are to the og I think it’s only fair to see them as their own thing. I also feel like while they aren’t as “gothy” as they used to be, they are still very monster! They are just showing the monster aspect different from how they used to. I also love how in the tv show Clawdeen and all the other mammal based monsters have hairy bodies because of course they do! They are monsters! And how Lagoona has little piranha teeth like yes! Of course she would she is a monster!!!
You know ironically, probably my favorite doll. When I started collecting rainbow high this year was Jade from the junior high line😂💔 I was kind of obsessed with the neon green aesthetic and her curly cute pigtails, also, the Band-Aid on her nose just made her look more rebelista
My faves were the RH Jrs line, actually because I love their small size. The first line I completed was series 1. That being said, I also customized every one of them lol. I'm not a fashion person, so I prefer "dressing down" every doll I get. Other standouts were the Kpop and neon shadow, both lines I "should" hate, but I loved the minnie, tessa, harley, and uma. I did sell most of their clothing and shoes, but there's a lot about them that makes me smile. I agree the Glow Up girls were not interesting, and anything LOL is not to my taste because of their eyes. I have 2 of the tweens from a previous line, and I had to completely remove and redo their eyes. The dolls are so cute, but those eyes are too much for me. The other flops are those art kit dolls, they look like gremlins to me. I'm more than happy for kids to enjoy art activities, but those would have terrified me. Other dolls I really like are the Barbie Extra Mini.

I like mermaid dresses but I don't like trumpet dresses which Rainbow High keeps doing. Mermaid dresses usually go to the floor, not stop at the ankle. I wish they would do some big full skirt dresses
I totally agree with monster high g3 being the number #1 spot!! So happy about them. My other fav was the pride bratz Roxxi and Nevra 2-pack, having canonically queer dolls is amazing. I love these videos and the way you articulate your opinions, happy holidays, your seriously my fav doll channel, and my fav person in general to watch

I feel you so hard about the Reel Drama dolls, forget the ones I specifically wanted, I didn't see A SINGLE DOLL. MGA got most of my doll purchases this year if only because the ones I loved were AVAILABLE. As much as I'm VERY not pleased with MGA's price creeping, (and secondary outfits slowly disappearing from the Shadow High line) their main play-line dolls are at least VERY high quality. Eliza Mcfee is my favorite doll of the year and she's STUNNING! I loved the video as always (and your cinnamoroll sweatshirt is to die for!)
listen, the blonde Holiday Barbie is kinda bland but the red-head one is freaking gorgeous. I love her. I'm also excited about her dress cause I've been kinda waiting for them to do one with a poinsettia skirt for a while so I was really excited when she was announced! I like the diagonal strap across her collarbone too
Although I am not a fan of the Holiday Barbie, I think the other four Holiday dolls are beautiful. I had to have all five of the Holiday Dolls for my collection.
Enchantimals are still around? That's truly the most shocking thing I've heard all year.
My biggest flop was the Truly me rebrand American girl did. Sure a few dolls have grown on me but I just hate the entire direction they are going in with the coloured hair. My biggest win would be the RH Kpop dolls which I still need to purchase!
I understood why ag went with a truly me rebrand - but with it following claudie's release so soon and not waiting until there were dolls produced up to #100 in the line, it felt like it came at a bad time. they definitely could've waited with the rebrand; it was too much all at once.
One of my favorites for this year was definitely LOL tweens. They just have the best designs and represent so many different styles. I also enjoy the new Monster High dolls, but I’m still waiting on a Cleo that I will like. I was very lucky to get the Monster High reproductions and some of the reel dramas, they’re really cool but it’s so unfair that people can’t get them. I really hope they clean that up next year.
I'm convinced the reel drama line was on a boat that sank and fell to the bottom of the ocean. They were literally just gone one day.

There was a leak earlier this year for series 2 of the OMG Fierce line with the characters Candylicious and Kitty K. Definitly excited to have them in my collection next year!
Totally agree about the Monster High Creeproduction & Reel Drama dolls. I tried to get them but was so discouraged by the experience that I am not planning on getting any further dolls from this line 😢
THANK YOU finally someone is talking about the monster high reproduction dolls not being in stores and idk why Mattel doesn’t sell them in stores like their website keeps breaking down and the dolls get sold really fast I just don’t understand their logic
im so thankful that I decided to buy all 4 creeproductions as fast as I could, so luckily I got all 4, but I was planning on getting doubles to take out of box since I don't have any first wave ghouls. reel drama however I was so so so excited to get but they didnt even pop up on Canadian websites like Walmart or amazon never mind in stores. they briefly showed up on toys r us websites but they were pickup only which wasn't a possibility for me. I cant even look at reel drama that much because it makes me so upset I don't have them lmao. the release of monster high repros literally could not have been worse.
Oh my goood those creeproduction dolls. I wanted to buy them so bad and here in germany they were only sold on mattel's website once and then apparently never restocked. I emailed mattel asking if they will restock them and if they will have reel drama anytime soon and they ghosted me :(
The way mattel has been handling their monster high releases recently have been abysmal at best tbh, there is still not a single sign of g3 here and all those north america exclusive collector dolls frustrate me so much

the MH G3 are cute... but I can't bring myself to pay full price for them. I used to collect MH back before they were cancelled and those really amazing dolls were less than $20, and I still battled myself over paying that much. if they ever go on sale, i'll definitely scoop some of them up

Nothing hurts more then when i finally find a reel drama doll at my toysrus-its only lagoona and frankie and its when i had to start cutting on how much i spend

I don't mind them if you can get them real cheap like I did but at retail definitely not.
i'm really excited about mhg3 too. when g1 first launched i got a few dolls but i was too young to keep them together and collect them. and then when they started g2 i got freaked out, but now, seeing the quality and the fun return to the dolls was so so great. i do agree there are a lot of things about the dolls that still need to be improved, but this is just the first line! also, when i got lagoona i just couldn't keep her in the outfit she came with, so i made her a yellow hoodie with blue waves on the sleeves and a pair of jean shorts. that got me back into a big sewing mood that i've been in for the past few months. sewing is something i love doing so honestly i'm glad i had a few problems with the new lagoona. also i have to say i am just as pissed about not being able to get any of the g1 dolls they released this year. i really wanted haunt couture draculara so so bad but now the cheapest she is anywhere is $200+

Here are my fav individual dolls because I think you covered a lot of ground talking about flops & faves of certain doll lines so I'm just going to do specific dolls.
1. Natasha Zima from Shadow High. It's hard for me to convey my emotions for this doll but I think she's absolutely beautiful, along with the rest of the SH girls that I have yet to purchase. I've had so much fun customizing her because her base doll is so beautiful.
2. Reboot Draculaura. At first I was like..... meh...... but then I got my hands on her and WOW! She is so much better than the original!!! As much as I'm not a fan of the split dye on her I love pretty much everything about her complex design. Oh except for the shoes cuz that's one thing original Drac had going for her.
3. Lola Wilde from Shadow High! I love this doll so much honestly pretty much purely because of her aesthetic. I love her hair, her clothes, her ears, HER EYES, everything. I wasn't sure about getting her until I saw her in store and fell in love like I couldn't stop staring at her.
4. Creeproduction Lagoona! Totally agree that the release of the creeproductions was horrible but I LOVE THIS DOLL. I never got to have her as a kid and now I can finally see how beautiful her face and hair is. Not even into the sporty aesthetic and I still think her doll is one of the best designs ever made. Also I really love G3 Lagoona too! In my top 3 of the G3 dolls :3
5. EMMA EMO from LOL tweens. So I still don't have this doll but every time I see her in stores I get sooooo so close and I think I might bite the bullet already. I love the emo rep in doll lines even tho I myself am goth not emo I think it looks so cute when paired with good fashion and Emma knocks it out of the park!!
Honorable mention goes to my identity v andrew ragdoll because he helps me sleep at night 🤍
O.M.G. I completely forgot about Mermaze for this. I don't have a single mermaze doll but that one with the bow in her hair has to be the prettiest doll on the market right now!!!
Emma Emo is cute and worth it. I found her at Target as one of the few OMG dolls left. Her box was very damage but I got her cheap she looks good next to my other Tweens. I actually want to get Max Wonder which is a shock to me since I don't buy boy dolls.
@@iamsoverybored878 omg yeah i wanted to mention the boys for tweens too!!!! usually boy dolls look really wonky to me but i LOVE the boy tweens, theyre so interesting and not hypermasculine to the point where fashion is thrown out the window, i love them sm

I agree with number one. They’re my fav too as not only are they why I’m actually into this line now but it was the first time I actually sought out dolls after they launched (minus my failed attempts to get the Creeproductions and Reel Drama dolls) which I’ve never done. Also I got all three that I wanted (I am planning to get the others minus the cat girl) and my overall fav from the trio was actually a birthday gift from my parents cause they were released during my birthday month so getting a doll I really really wanted made me very happy.
Shadow High Luna Madison would be number two. I don’t know if she’s this year but I’m counting her because one of my bffs got me, her as a birthday gift and she’s been my most wanted RH/SH doll next to the pink member of Royal 3.
And rounding out my top three is that new line of Fidget Friends. I don’t own any of them (yet) but I got adhd so these dolls are basically perfect for me and they look so cute. My most wanted is the fairy girl cause she has pop it wings.
any monster high g1 doll that was released this year is my number one flop by a long shot. the reproductions & reel drama dolls are great & i have nothing against the doll's themselves, but i haven't found a single one of these girl's in any of my stores and SURROUNDING STATE'S STORES since the initial drop of both collections. we were promised g1 dolls in stores (and not just collector dolls i.e haunt couture & skullector) and instead us average collectors were stuck fighting a bunch of other people & probably bots on trying to buy these for regular price on stupid mattelcreations YET AGAIN AND HAVE THEM ALL SELL OUT IN 2 MINUTES. not to mention the scalper prices for these dolls are stupidly high that i genuinely refuse to buy them. i'm happy for anyone that got them for free/found them in stores for regular price but these releases are what made doll collecting abundantly miserable this year
I started collecting dolls this year, and one of the big reasons I did were your videos! So watching this one, and seeing that my top fave for this year is the same as yours really made my day! But also I must give Meena Fleur from RH-S4 the honour of being the most beautiful doll I've ever seen. Here's to 2023 being an even better doll year 🥳 (and I can't wait to see all your upcoming videos!)
I seriously wanted each of the haunt couture dolls and at least one of the reel drama dolls. The fact the haunt couture were waaaaaay too overpriced AND sold out in literally one second bothered me. But what truly bothered me was being told I could find the reel drama dolls at Target and every time I looked they weren't there just to find they'd been basically canceled! Made me absolutely mad!
I've been binging your videos this week, so seeing an upload was such an exciting surprise! I'm right there with you on the Creeproductions and Reel Drama. Sad truth right now. Thankfully G3 seems like they're gonna rock some rocks in 2023, including mine! So exciting.

this was the year I begun collecting, and it was your content that peaked my interest. I didn't grow up playing with fashion dolls, so unfortunately I have little in the way of nostalgia, but despite that, it has been such an enjoyable experience for me. my sister got Minnie Choi for christmas, i hadn't seen a rainbow high doll that close up before but the fact that her manicure had tiny bows WITH PEARLS *and* a french tip BLEW me away! on top of rings with embedded rhinestones, and the detail and design of the clothes. singlehandedly got me looking at what doll i'd like to get myself from the line; the blues/teals aren't quite what i want, but Delilah is very cute.
and of course, i want a g3 monster high so badly. i'm excited to see if they bring Spectra back, but i'm also so excited to see what Lagoona and Twyla get for future sets!

Gosh! You talking about the creproductions and the reel drama dolls!! You took the words straight out of my mouth!! I only was able to get my laggona from the repos by ordering online with the first hour of the failed Walmart release. And the real drama dolls that I had all were by obsessively searching every morning at 6 am until I happened to find them right before the price jumped. Walmart not only is working with resellers. But is also often actively price gouging their own stock!
I’m very upset that Mattel acted like these were new play line type releases but then sold them out like they were special editions. I would have tried harder to find the repos if I had known they would only be around for one day :/

I randomly found this channel recently and it already reminded me of how much i loved and miss collecting monster high and how it made me appreciate the doll market much more than when i was a kid
I was actually having similar thoughts about monster high,
I'm SO HAPPY they are coming back and honestly being newer to looking at doll videos I like their designs .
Buy wise those and the Licca-chan dolls would probably be my main goals as those are the main ones that speak to me personally and my tastes
reel drama deserves to be a flop for making clawdeen such an ashy gray tone, especially when its not the first time mattel changed her skin tone to be lighter
personally i love the barbie styles line, they're great quality casual looks and that's what i love whenever i play with my dolls, i like dressing them and just taking them with me places, so barbie is perfect for me, but i also love a good quality piece, it doesn't have to be real pockets and zippers but the fabric shouldn't feel scratchy or cheap. but for $100???? girl bye. i'll sew them myself or go on etsy and support a small business 🚶♂️ i hope barbie turns around soon cuz she's been breaking my heart lately 💔

I’d say it’s light on Hasbro’s side of it because Hasbro is in the lead in many other categories in the toy market. They put in a lot of money into Transformers and all of the 1/12 scale figure lines they produce like Marvel Legends, Star Wars Black Series, GI Joe Classified, Power Rangers Lightning Collection, Fortnite Victory Royale, they just have so many product lines with huge followings, they probably don’t want to compete with MGA and Mattel.
I was gonna say Hasbro is more into action figures, fashion dolls are Mattel and MGA thing
They ARE bringing back Equestria Girls for MLPG5.

Lol tweens are so cute, have so much personality but also cheep!! I’ve found them on sale often but even full price I think are worth it! They definitely got me into lol dolls this year!
You are so right on with Monster High! I’m completely turned off now! Between the poor rollout and all the changes I’m not even interested anymore.

Thanks for sharing your list! My daughter and I think the new Monster High reboot dolls are super cute! She's decided that these dolls are not the originals, but rather adorable family members. The new Draculara is a sophisticated cousin named Camilla, the new Cleo is a younger sister named Isis, and so on.

#4 flop first I was like “whaaaa???” But YES YES YES Mattel Monster High made these amazing dolls which I not only wanted them I want multiple. I hope they just are suddenly in stores again or where they weren’t for that matter. Like they is no shortage of ppl that want them I wanted in and out of box for ALL the alumni MH. Sorry G3 not so much. I definitely have bout a dozen of them idk something is missing even if I put aside the major changes especially to my ghoul which is still painful and yes I’m looking forward to future releases I just get so easily bored with them soon as their in my hands didn’t help the body paint coming off well those with body paint nothing like trying to enjoy the doll gently only to see their paint chipping or rubbing off Frankie really upset me I really love how they felt in my hand but their stitches rubbed off. Lagoona’s legs are SO easily damaged I hate it! Like am I just gonna have to keep those with paint on their body in box unless I want to hope a sealant holds. Think it works well on Frankie and a Toreli I never unboxed Twyla but I’ve heard Lagoona still chipped so I’m afraid to touch her. I want to to dress and style them and idk maybe take them out with me. Kinda a bummer hope it’s fixed by next releases will NEVER love them like OG NEVER but I like them as a novelty

I too remember seeing the mh ghouls back of shelves and trying my best to hold in my excitement :,) i was jumping up and down and so perfectly elated 😊i love those ghouls!! similar to when i first saw neonlicious in stores and FREAKED! i was always underwhelmed by the original line of lol omg girls but the fierce line took away everything i didn't like and elevated everything i loveddd!! ugh i hope i can find them on sale one day 💞💞💞

I love barbie style because it gives you some basics to dress your dolls in. Sometimes I just need a plain tee for my doll crazy pants but it's hard to find. I also love the quality of the dolls themselves and the hair and such.

10:13 sounds like Canada with any collector toy line. Even if you preordered, best of luck. I got a call from GameStop telling me my Transformers Legacy Transmetal 2 Megatron just arrived, 2.5 months after the street date… only to then be called the next day to let me know my Transformers Legacy Inferno just arrived in store even though it’s not set to release until February 2023. And even then with such an erratic release window, best of luck to anyone trying to find anything.
Reel Drama was in stock at big Bad Toy Store 12/22. I was able to order a doll.
For real. The black and white monster high dolls are so cool looking but I couldn't get excited for them because you couldn't find them. I did get excited for G3 monster high but even those have been a pain to find.
