Thank you! - Наука та технологія
Thank you soooo very much, especially for the positions of the trigger safety and spring!!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Just picked one of these up. That was a great tutorial man. Appreciate it.
Glad it helped!
Mine required slight filing to allow the trigger safety to function correctly. I found it much easier to start the large pin from the right to align everything. Thanks for the video.
Video helped A LOT, thank you. Only issue is (and you should've mentioned unless you weren't aware) on the 43X the trigger pin isn't the obvious choice. I hammered it out and show was still attached. There's a pin above it (VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE) on the show which is the one that needs to be removed and there's no way of saving the OEM. Everything else was on point and helped me install the trigger, new slide release and rods. Great products
Glad it helped!
Now do one for the G43X, which has a blind pinned OEM trigger.
...thanks
Excellent video!
What would have to be done to reduce the weight of the trigger pull?
The trigger weight is largely effected by the spring tension, shape, and smoothness of the trigger bar. Basically, you would replace the trigger bar and springs with something else. There are several really nice triggers available for Glocks, and I even sell a few of them on my website.
That looks more like a gen5, gen 3 & 4 has 3 pins [slide lock, locking block and trigger housing] gen5 only has 2 pins as seen on this video. I have a G22 gen3 and g17 gen3, my frames doesn't look like that. Just installed the ITTS trigger assembly along with Ghost Inc 3.5 connecter. Both of them vs stock..WOW what a cleaner crisper trigger pull.

Looks like you have a frankenglock, the finger grooves of gen 3 but double pins for the trigger shoe, locking block, slide release and trigger housing like a gen 2/gen 5. Also your spring in the back when you disassemble the trigger bar looks completely different then both of mine. My gen 3 has finger grooves with 3 pins and my gen 5 has two pins with no finger grooves.
First I've noticed the logo on the back of the slide... pretty sharp.
Thanks. That was done for me by Bastion Gear. They have all kinds of laser etched gun parts, including custom work like my logo.
😊
Hey I lost the roll pin that holds safety in aluminum trigger to the trigger bar . Do u know what that’s called
I don't off the top of my head. I think your description of it makes perfect sense so if you get in touch with Tyrant CNC (or whoever makes your trigger) and ask them about a replacement, I'm sure they can hook you up.
In the last part you said after changing the trigger it will not change the trigger pull weight? I am planning to get one for my edc but i want to make sure that the factory trigger weight will not change? Thank you and great video.
Yes, that is correct. If you change the trigger shoe (the part your finger pulls), it will not change the weight or overall feel of the trigger pull. That comes from the internal parts and springs that aren't changed in this case.
Thank you very much
What trigger housing is that? Haven't seen that version with the little ramp and spring so all you have to do is angle the trigger bar in. Def seems better than oem where you have to attach each end of a spring to the housing then bar
I'm actually not sure. Its a policed issued Glock 17 Gen 3, so it may be a "duty" trigger required by whatever department bought it initially. It's a terrible trigger, and I will be upgrading it to an Apex trigger soon.
I looks like a different gen trigger. I’ve seen a similar assembly on another gen. Can’t remember which. Stick with OEM lol I tried this trigger and it’s not working at all
That’s the OEM NY trigger spring from Glock. It completely changes the feel of the trigger.
After changing the trigger did you check it for drop safe?
No I didn't, but that's not a bad idea. I wasn't worried about it because changing the trigger didn't change any of the other parts (trigger bar, springs, etc).
if all you change is the shoe it is still basically a stock trigger it just looks different. all of the other components get left alone.
Did you cover your slide serial number just to leave your barrel serial number in ?😭
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF hahaha Well that didn't go well. Don't tell anyone, okay?
I got one of these triggers and its not going in my p80 frame very well. Seems to be to big
I haven't personally tried to fit one on a P80, but Tyrant does mention possible fitment issues on their site. "** Due to the precise modifications required to build a functional P80, we cannot guarantee that our parts will work in all P80 builds. We recommend using a certified gunsmith to ensure the accuracy and functionality of modifications, and performance of our parts. **"
Take a pic of the issue and send them an email about it. They may be able to point you in the right direction as far as their recommendation.
@@TheWarriorSolution will do. Thank you very much. I just started doing p80 builds and I cant seem to stop for some reason. Til now anyways. This is my very first real issue i have had. Its annoying. I want to finish it soooo bad.
Amend2 mags are trash. And yes I have ran them. So many failure to feed issues.
THATS A GEN 4 NOT GEN 3
Standard capacity. Lol😂
Yep. Suck it, California.
...looks more like a Gen 4 than a Gen 3...
Nope, Gen 3 for sure.
You have no idea what a gen 4 looks like then Lmfaoo
Dude, cringe moment when you hammer the crap out of that pin..don't do that! You will damage the slide release and creat burrs where the pin slides thru and it will rub against the side of the trigger and have problems. Next time, press down with your finger on the tab that makes contact with the mag follower and press out the pin with a punch. No need for a hammer my dude.
That's what you get for watching an infantryman use basic hand tools. Everything = hammer. haha I'd like to get some actual quality gunsmithing training at some point so I'm only putting out good content. I'd hate for someone to mess something up because I did it wrong.
He has no views cause there’s a million videos on this it don’t matter what company makes the shoe 😂 all the time editing this video listing gun rules and everything he puts a lot into the video you can tell
