Saw this at 1am yesterday and now 24hrs later I have the cherrybomb and everything in my trunk waiting to be installed. Hope this is a good impulse buy
Did you do anything else before adding the cherry bomb and muffler delete? My Impala is completely stock and I was wondering if ur car had anything done previously along with muffler delete abs cherry bomb. Awesome video by the way
I’ve got a 2006 Monte Carlo SS, and right now it has the Flowmaster 40 series on it. I’m so torn on trying this one out or keeping my FM’s on.. I love the popping this adds to the exhaust! My flow masters only do that if I downshift, which is bad for my tranny since it’s an automatic. So I can’t be doing that. Haha. What should I do? I need opinions!
You can downshift auto's you just have to be more mindful of RPM. You still want to RPM match your shifts with manual but they're a little more tolerant. Main reason to downshift an auto is downhill and they're designed with that in mind, cruise control does it all the time down hill to keep speed 5-10 mph depending on the car.
OMG it’s RonDaDon lol sure why not! Idk about the sound but it should sound okay. Your car has a different engine though, 3.6 liters versus my 3.5 liter v6. Yours is going to have more of a higher pitched sound where mine is a deep old school GM v6 sound
It would be hard to make it true dual from the headers, the engine is mounted side ways and the manifolds are connected to save space. Most impalas that have dual exits aren't really true dual as the there is a y pipe at the end of exhaust to give it dual exits
SneekFreak honestly I loved the way the Cherry Bomb sounded since this was the way I wanted it to sound like in the get go. Flowmaster is a great brand I got nothing against it. That would cost you more money because the Cherry Bomb only cost me 25 bucks.
I used to have the Super 44 one but even though it sounded nice, something about that distinctive sound flowmaster made for my car didn't sound good to me at all... Cherry Bomb addition seemed like it sounded a tad bit louder yet less vibration in cab when driving. When you rev the Impala with the Cherry setup, the echo makes a loud backfire crackle noise that reflects off of near by objects. Flowmaster gave the car a deep aggressive sound where as the Cherry Bomb made it sound like a v6 hot rod if that is possible lol!
I'm Versatile no problem buddy that is what I am here for!!! Be prepared to see go pro exhaust video coming up soon! I would be literally the first guy ever on UA-cam to post a video of that kind (Chevy Impala v6 go pro drive) Making a small yet big milestone in my point of view man.
Jeremiah Van Eyck I got it from a local automotive parts store called Autozone. Cant give you a link because they do not have that one no more. Look up cherry bomb glasspack 23 inches 2.25 inlet and outlet.
I have a 2011 Ls one think I'm going to do the cherry bomb was considering flowmaster or magnaflow but this sounds great since I won't be racing lol and mine is too quiet right now lol
MrsRedskins this gets loud but if u easy on it, sounds moderate. Drone is there but I like it because you can hear the car at ALL rpm ranges lol. Cold starts make me jump if you stand behind it. I highly recommend this!!
LIGER I dont remember... I think 150 for resonator to be replaced with the cherry and another 80 or so for rear muffler delete. All depends on shop. Honestly forgot, this was years ago haha! Sorry!
LIGER tell them what u want done on ur car like have them check out the car giving u an estimate on it. Then, u go from there. If u like, ask around some muffler mechanic shops around u to see where the prices fall and pick the best one.
@@anthonyjones7662 Sorry to get back so late on this!! UA-cam decided to be stupid and not notify me about everyones comments... Yes I do not see why not.
All the upper years of the impala starting from the 2007 and up were strip down 3.9 they were called LZE/LZ4 they came with vvt and where a lot faster with 224 hp and 220 torque
Bruh I had all intentions on hatin but that shit actually sounds great. Best sounding 3.5 I’ve ever heard💯🔥
Christopher Pettis thank uuuuuuu man!! Really appreciate it. That is what every person probably thinks originally hahaha.
@@sammygingello hey man can you post a link to muffler glass pack you got i would love it in my 09 LTZ

How does it sound ?
😂 and how does it sound
For sure doing this to mine. I can't even tell if mine is running from 40 feet away it's that quiet.
For sure doing this to my 2012 police impala
I have to do this to my moms impala lmao
Joshua Turnbull lmao that would be freakin hillarious!

You are so Italian it’s incredible haja
El Jefe this made my day. Best underrated comment on this channel!
I plan on putting a rumble muffler on my 2013 Chevy Impala ( I know sounds dumb and stupid but I like trying new things out yanno) 🤘

I know what I’m doing to my dual exhaust Impala!
Did you do anything else before adding the cherry bomb and muffler delete? My Impala is completely stock and I was wondering if ur car had anything done previously along with muffler delete abs cherry bomb. Awesome video by the way
Actually if I can try to remember back I believe cosmetics like chrome metal mesh grill chrome handles and chrome mirror caps. Thanks alot bro!!

that sounds so good
im jealous
NoahO6 thanks bud! I really miss hearing that sound. If I was to get a beater Impala I would so do that mod again...
Did you get it welded where the resonator used to be
Absolutely
Damn that shit sounds lovely bro
2009 Arianna
Elizabeth Hilerio lol ironic choosing of a name
Nice! Might try this on my 2014 ltz
I have a question is the cherry bomb louder then the flow master you had on it???
Johnathan26 _ ABSOLUTELY
How much did you pay to get it put on?
Definitely gonna have to buy a cherry bomb
Clacked u should its freakin awesome lol. Funny to see on a grandpa car. Nothing against the Impala though. I really miss that car...
Did u place the cherry bomb in place of the resonator
I want to do this to mine. I have the 3.6 though. How much is the total for the entire job?
TheHuskyGT $150 I think, maybe a tad more with tax so close to $200. Don’t count on that though haha!
Wait wait wait i have a 2012 LT already got my muffler deleted and res deleted could i still get this done ?
OMG it’s RonDaDon lol sure why not! Idk about the sound but it should sound okay. Your car has a different engine though, 3.6 liters versus my 3.5 liter v6. Yours is going to have more of a higher pitched sound where mine is a deep old school GM v6 sound
Ight bet thank you
Does the sound drone at all or is it okay?
Joe Trimbur definitely drones but not annoyingly. If u want sound, u got it. It was music to my ears.
Does it make a big diff if you keep the cats ?
Brian Medina yes because if I deleted the cats it would be louder and crackle much more.
Sammy Gingello oh ok thanks man ! Ima do that then
Doing all that work should have went dual
Alty is prob more money, I didnt want to go above and beyond to that extent, duals look cool but dont have any other benefit that I know of.
You know now that you say that I should have but it doesnt do anything except look nicer and could hear sound on the driver side to.
Sammy Gingello and better exhaust flow if you run dual strait from the header Vers having a single pipe go into two pipes
It would be hard to make it true dual from the headers, the engine is mounted side ways and the manifolds are connected to save space. Most impalas that have dual exits aren't really true dual as the there is a y pipe at the end of exhaust to give it dual exits
Other than the Cherry Bomb and res delete, was the rest of the system stock?
XeXed Tk yes
Sweet, thanks
How much did it cost for the work to get it done
Mikey713 i think like $150
Should I do this or take off res. and add 40 series flowmasters???

wow thanks for the feed back!!!! i might just go with the cherry bomb setup
SneekFreak ur welcome man!! Be unique and different. I havent seen any Impalas like this with this kind of setup.
If i do this to my impala will it trigger the check engine light to come on?
Aaron Shensky nope not at all just do the setup like mine and u should be totally fine.
my dad did double cherry bomb on his 2016 and it sound great
Cool man I wonder what it sounds like!

Does anyone know if this exhaust would work on a 2017 impala?
This exhaust will work on just about anything, you just have to have the right tools and hardware for it
How would this sound on a 3.9? Same size Inlet and outlet as the 3.5?
Yeet or be Yeeten that idk but I would assume it would sound very good on. Highly recommend trying!!
Sammy Gingello Okay big bruv. I appreciate it.
Yeet or be Yeeten ofc!
That sounds badass 🤣 just for fun id put it on my car
I just went purchase one today.
I have a 2009 Chevy impala lt... so what would I need to do to get my car sounding like that? And about how much?
look up cherry bomb exhaust and the rest you will have to do
What kind of cats and how many i gotta have this.... My 3.9 will sound like a beast lop
Cats all stock… Just delete rear muffler and then in place of stock resonator add 23 inch cherry bomb.
This how I want mind to sound A1
I was looking for same setup but I fucked up and used racing flowmaster.
Jeremiah Queen probably still sounded great lol.
can i get a link to the cherry bomb you used

Which cherry bomb exhaust is this?
23 inch one
@@sammygingello did you use any special tubing for it? or just the cherry bomb
@@that_cat_in_blue4883 what do u mean special tubing lol its just plain regular exhaust piping (not stainless)

What was the setup that you did ?
Cherry Bomb glasspack muffler in place of resonator and rear muffler delete with Flowmaster tip.
