For anyone "stuck" in that situation, take a hair dryer and blow it around the areas of the adhesive until the stand gets too hot to touch(grab with a towel or sock to save your fingers) . It will loosen the glue and let it come off. I had this issue with my last apartment move and that really helped.

About the sleep band and belt: There are beanies you can buy online that also have bluetooth speakers inside the fabric. You commented about wanting to wear a hat with the sleep band outside. One of those beanies would solve that issue. Maybe review one in the future?
Also I've really enjoyed the no-belt (I think that's what it's called?). It's a buckle-less, stretchy belt that attaches with snaps to the front-facing belt loops of your pants, meaning there's no buckle to dig into your gut when sitting, or to undo when it's time to pull off your pants. Just unbutton your pants as normal. I can even leave it attached to my jeans if I'm needing to wear the same pair the next day.

I have the headband for sleep sounds, I love it! Great for when the tinnitus is screaming!
I got one of the unbelts for after my spine surgery. My scar was on my waistline, but I still needed a belt. I turned the belt so it hooked on the loops to the side. Held up my pants great, no pressure on the healing area! I would have to pop one snap off to open my pants, but it was fine, easy to hook back up. I recommended it to my ortho surgeon in case any of his other patients needed to know.

I have one of those beanies! I never wear it because 1, it's too tight on my large head, and 2, it's really really warm, like too warm, so it's only good if I'm outside in the cold. I have a feeling James would hate the one I have, since he also has a big head and lives in a warmer climate.

Version two of the headband should have an alarm you can set to wake you at a higher volume...because the major downside in anything you cover your ears with, especially music may defeat your alarm. I can see it as a lifesaver for peaceful sleep in noisy cities or around someone who snores. And I was so hoping you would try that shelf in the shower...

    • @pedrof6767
      @pedrof6767 3 роки тому

This is the downside of this videos sometimes you wanna know more, although for the headband you just have to check if it works are a regular headset because if it does you can take calls and alarms would go off too, if you are interested you just have to check the details on the product.

    • @zenmo8013

I have a similar version of those sleep headphones (basically the same but different company) and it's basically a normal bluetooth headset. It connects from your phone and it has a mic so you can pick up calls directly on it. If you were to set an alarm on your phone it would ring through the headphones. What I personally do is put a sleep timer for the music I play so that when I'm asleep the music doesn't play continuously for the whole night. That way the music doesn't overlap the alarm.

    • @IMDARKFIRE007
      @IMDARKFIRE007 3 роки тому +1

@@zenmo8013 A music sleep timer is a good idea. Wouldn't matter for me though as my brain adapts to most alarms like the Borg and they become ineffective haha. My alarm is so ungodly loud and annoying even Tool or AC/DC wouldn't phase it. Akin to a car alarm.

At the end of the burger you're most likely to use your hand anyway..

My husband likes dead silence, and even wears ear plugs to bed every night. I'm the exact opposite and have to have noise. Re: Burger -- Very weird, because most drive-through sandwiches that I purchase come wrapped up. If you unwrap it as you eat, you don't need something like this. But, I only buy non-meat sandwiches, so my samples aren't representative. Most of these gadgets might be useful for someone with mobility issues but I'm not sure if that's true for this one. Unwrapping requires some finger dexterity, but so does eating the sandwich in the burger holder once it's half-gone. If you shake a lot and tend to spill, the buddy doesn't seem like it would necessarily prevent that well.

I set my music to play for 20-45 minutes and then the band goes into "sleep mode" for the rest of the night meaning it is on, but in "conserving battery" mode where if I wake up I can just hit play again and not have to turn the mask back on. I get an average of 3-4 night's use out of it before I have to recharge.

I’m also a bald man and my head sweats like a faucet when I exercise. That sleep band looks like what I need for something to keep the sweat out of my eyes and let me listen to music at the same time.... as long as the speakers are waterproof because they will get sweat soaked

For us ladies...I would like the Sleepband as as headband while working out and have a variety of colors.😁 Maybe the developers of the Sleepband can have a "hat" option with Velcro hat with visor that fits over the band and has an opening for the controls.

    Another great video!
I wrap my hamburger in a paper towel or two to catch everything that would normally fall out. Keep ziplock baggies in your car to put empty burger buddy in when finished.
    The belt looked ok.
I would have put the shelf next to the tp holder to make it easier to change the roll.
The sleep band looks like it would be amazing! You could put a square of gauze or folded up cloth where it digs in.

My wife has used a sleep band for several years. they seem to last about a year and then a wire breaks or they just stop working. She does not use it as a mask. Do not buy a black band, the dye rubbed off on the pillow case.

The adjustment on the Groove belt is a pain at first, the real key is angling it. I will say the adjustment really does lock in. As a bigger guy it is the most comfortable traditional belt I have worn. Also does well with CCing. So far I really enjoy it.

  • @goldenpun5592

I love the groove belt. It's super comfortable and they give you plenty of extra loop so if you're plus sized you should be able to wear this belt no problem. It also works pretty well with holsters. One downside is it can be a little tight getting it through some belt loops.

  • @cyphre

Should've tried the Sleepband overtop your hat when outside. Speakers probably still would've reached just fine. Although it would depend on how comfortable your hat is, since it would press it against your head as well.

I got the sleepband (cheaper different brand) after spending a few days in hospital under suicide watch where they wouldn't let me turn off the lights as they needed to keep and eye on me, and as its a hospital it was really noisy. They were literally life saving during my subsequent hospitalisations. Used them a lot even when at home as well.
If you often go places where you don't have much control about the sounds or light levels, they're a must.

I have a regular cloth belt. Easy adjustments. It does slowly loosen over several hours, but pulling it back takes 1 second. I never wear regular leather belts because they're too stiff and they dig into my stomach.

I like my sleep band. I bought it for travel because I need sound while I sleep, or else I can’t sleep. I usually travel with my sister and share a double room.
The sleep band allows me to listen to my iPhone or iPad without disturbing others. I don’t use it over my eyes except when trying to sleep on a plane.

    1. 500 pack of plastic gloves, 8 dollars... and every burger I buy comes in its own wrapper.
    2. I got the rachet one you have, it's perfect. This magnet one doesn't suit most of us, our belly size changes after a big meal. It might be for skinny people but for those of us whose bellies are bigger than our hips, we need a firm belt
    3. There are better versions of that, they have larger see-thru plastic on the back that holds much better. And they come in a variety of sizes and designs. I got a set for a bathroom as my bathroom only has a sink, no medicine cabinet, so I use them to hold all my necessities.
    4. My head is too big for one size headbands

best way to remove the wonder shelf would be to use a hairdryer and heat up the wall so the sticky glue melts a bit. you can even put a small weight on the top of the shelf so it helps pull it away slowly.

For adhesive strips like that on the wall you can use dental floss and work it back and forth between the wall and the adhesive in a sawing motion to get it off the wall. Works on command strips if you rip the tab too.
