Being a beach person.. I can do see this being a great accessory to have on while seated on the beach enjoying a chill drink.. it's like having chilled out beach music playing in the background while enjoying the beach..

So is bone conduction dead? I bought a pair years ago but they were really just speakers like these (also lesser quality). Would be awesome to have the sound "beamed" directly into my head instead of leaking out into the environment around me - the whole point of headphones.
These seem perfect for motorcycle use, people riding bikes, skateboard, electric scooters etc. Especially in Europe where you're generally not allowed to wear any headphones while riding anything of what I mentioned.
why didnt you mention the bose frames, they've been doing this for a while now.... The interchangable frames make the product more attractive. i would wanna see a comparison from the sound perspective

I would love to see you unbox/review some kind of wearable AR/EXR glasses like the Nreal Air or Nreal Light. I’m not talking about a headset for VR, but rather a less obtrusive set of sunglasses that you could wear on a plane to give you a virtual screen to watch movies or work on. Does anything like this exist yet?

I haven't yet experienced how bone conduction audio sounds .. tbh I imagine it to be like being underwater for some reason. Are you making a video about it? Or a retail product?
@@HolyHeartsMusic 99% of bone conduction products like this, are simply a speaker thats sealed in. You can clearly hear them playing without even touching them. Take your earbuds, wrap them in tape or something so they seal up, and put them where these rest against your head. That's exactly how these type of products sound. All of them. Without exception.
@@Luke-qs2cg Sweet dude so there is bass? I wear glasses anyway i would love these as i'm wearing them already and tbh unless i was indoors or on a bus or train, i would opt for being able to hear my surroundings at all times so ... 90% of the time i'd be into these for sure :)

I recommend you review the aftershokz bone conducting headphones. They are kinda similar to these without the whole glasses aspect, but offer a more private listening experience while still being good for outdoor activity. At least that's what they claim, I just want to see what you think.
Having owned them, I can tell you they sound terrible. Thin, weak, sad sound. No different than any others I've tried
I own a pair of aftershokz, and I'm really curious how they compare. I like my aftershocks, but wearing them combined with sunglasses is... cumbersome...
Lew would be really nice if you actually have some feedback about how the audio feeling is and specs like the battery life..

they are missing out on a really big market with construction workers. they would make bank if they put this tech inside protective glasses and it leaves your ears open to hear whats around you. I am sure there would be hurdles, but it would be worth it.
No one is going to get behind construction workers being distracted. Sure they can hear around them, but not as well because they're listening to something else at the same time. Construction requires your full attention

there is definitely a huge market in safety glasses, not just construction, lots of environments where having "background" music can be good and yet still being able to hear with open ears

Fine for podcasts and calls but horrid for music. I was hopeful and tried a few pairs out and one of the other comments nailed it: the best sounding bkne conducting headphones sound worse than the worst sounding earbuds. I hope that they keep developing the tech because it has a lot of promise but it ain't there yet.

for those wondering if this Soundcore frames are even practical, as a user for past 2 months, i can tell you: I WON'T GO BACK TO REGULAR FRAMES from now on!
for those who wants to buy it for sunglasses, i doubt it will be that useful since you are not going to wear it all the time except outdoor.
meanwhile, for those needing PRESCRIPTION GLASSES Like mine, it is superb. It's hardly noticable, unlike other brands with bulky legs.
Here's a few use cases, which i personally love:
1. as an audiobook lover, i can listen to my audiobook / music anytime, by simple tap on the frame.
2. watch youtube on phone anywhere, without disturbing others. and you wont miss any part of the narration.
3. watch marvel movie on tv at night at a satisfying volume with surround effect , without your wife shouting at you to slow down the volume. :P
4. call out google assistant at a tap on the frame and speak your question or commands. great for smart homes.
5. anwering a call without picking up the phone or fiddling with your earbuds, freeing your hands to continue with what you are doing.
and all these are done WITHOUT taking earbud in and out from the case and into your pocket, and repeat when you need it again... you can quit worrying about losing it.
with discounts, the price is only slightly higher than regular frames. no regrets and i am in love with it!!!

How's the quality compared to the base frames??? I have the bike they are good but not the greatest at Max volume. You loose a lot of the low end
I'm interested in these because I'm quite hypervigilant, so I don't like having headphones on in certain situations e.g when I'm at home, because my mum is very reactionary and will go into a fit of rage if she calls me and I don't respond quickly enough...

I’ve been using the soundcore frames for a couple hours now and i love it! not the best sounding Glasses but they dont look like a pair of smart glasses and the batter last longer than the Bose.
I cant wait to get a pair of clear Frames so i can use them at work!
@47crazed If you had to rate with 5 being best for Bose vs Soundcore how would the two compare? I had the Bose and loved the sound but didn’t like that I couldn’t replace the lenses for a clear frame so I could use them inside.
