This time I'm facing Sir Daniels as my next opponent in the Steel Division League. With a plan to crack open the defenses of my opponent with Wurfrahmen strikes, I was hopeful I could with with Maverick on Krupa!

Sir Daniels' phase B preemptive strike really seemed to break your tempo. It feels like the little misplays came out like cracks in glass from that point. It was a really smart play on his part.

Keep up the magnanimity - a rare quality ! Surprised with the maverick-on-Krupa play despite seeing others fail recently with the same income plan. Need to keep those PzVDs in platoons, or at least pairs, - better than four wurframens... Loved the centre-play at the start.
Yeah I think with some improvements this was a solid plan. I shouldn't have had 4 wurfrahmens in my deck. I kind of baited myself.
I might be wrong here, but I was confused, that your push on the right did not bring forward the 2 MG42 and the Pak 40, I think there was also some infantry as well. One MG 42 (unless the line of sight is odd there) would have prevented his infantry pushing from the left into the village after your initial break-in. Additionally, the Pak might have helped against his tanks/assault guns or if not, at least engage them from a better position later.
The difficulty is they are slow and have to cross the bridge. You aren't wrong that it would have been good to have them there but I'm not sure the timing would have worked regardless.
yep he couldve support the push better, especially the panthers were too late and pak40 couldve been pushed forward but tbh it wouldnt change a lot at this point in the game, was lost anyways
I feel like esp. on the second, right-side push some more cover management would've come in clutch, lots of heavy to no cover engagements there
What you did right: At the beginning of the game you had two MG.42 units grouped with a fanatical infantry unit and the mobile 81mm. truck in the background behind all of them, indeed that was a very nasty and deadly combination! I am going to have to remember that one! What you did wrong: You never caught any of his recon units which is why his rocket attacks were more accurate then yours, he seem to know exactly where all your best units were. If you had caught and destroyed his recon units in phase A he never would have defeated you, I am sure of this because your strategic planning skills were outstanding! I definitely learned something today: rocket attacks without good recon are worthless!
The moral of this game is " the rocket strike was well placed but it didnt pay off "

13:50 I think it was a mistake on your behalf to not to fire wurhframen on top of left side push. You'll be guaranteed to kill multiple visible enemy units. Ok, you would have lost you wurhframen load, but enemy would have lost his whole push
Good game, would have liked to see the same strat/plan on balanced. Always play the map and division during pick/ban phase. Keep it up, division 2 has a lot of veterans.

Not even mass rocket strikes can compete with the power of RNGesus. Especially when it isn’t on your side.
Since when are ISU 152 so extrem strong ingame? Now they hit almost every time first shot and kill panter/tiger like nothing

you had a really good stratigy, but i would probably have tried to countersnipe their rocket arty, since it didn't seem to move between barrages.
That plus your lack of AA made this an absolute slaughter in c phase.
oh yeah, if you're aiming for bunshed up tanks with rocket arty, i normally shoot two barrages at it. then it's not as luck based.

god I wish they'd update their sound samples already with weapon sounds, that's the only thing is the guns sound so off and tin like and it just ruins immersion for me
Quite a lot of bad luck.
I must say, Sir Daniels is the typical Balanced player, you want to play him in Balanced. He is all about trades, he is "old school ".
Alternatively, a really good Vanguard play can work on him but rarely.
Seems like you have better luck in WARNO league than Steel division.
We shall see next season haha! The competition is going to be so much higher.

you got pretty bad roll of maps vs daniels xD all balanced favoured, afaik you are balanced player so i dont get why force yourself to play maverick on krupa
also dont get 12SS pick, the div is mediocre especially on this map, no good infantry, no offmap, no cqb tanks and you didnt abuse the speed advantage the div gives you.. sth like 20pz 28j or idk blindata or 5cav would be way better imo
and from the gameplay you was way too passive, allowed him to build up good defences to the point he got to even throw you off with a push, the pivot to the right was nice idea but too late and with no follow up

If you're not comfortable with maverick, why not just play balanced? I feel like it didn't help you here.

I had as many as I needed. That really wasn't a problem.
You seem to have the absolute worst luck in this game. The rng rolls are awful, part of the reason why I don't like to play games like this. Too frustrating.
way too many expensive units, not enough AA, not enough vet on expensive armor.
money wasted last game on a tone of aircraft which were countered easily and now a load of point spent on 4 rockets trucks that really did nothing. No AA on the right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
