2 hours ago I had never heard of slacklining; and if asked, I would have guessed that it was some sort of makeup technique -- you know, like tightlining. several videos later, culminating in this excellent presentation, I know better, and I am in awe, what an incredible sport. It's got to be up there with those rare pursuits that can rightly be described as the most fun you can have with your clothes on. I haven't had this feeling from just viewing a sport since I first saw olympic-level trampolining. (Perhaps that's why I really loved the synchronised tricklining). Thrilling!

Microfracture’s are a myth 😉
Micro fractures aren’t a myth. The myth is that tossing them can cause micro fractures. But micro fractures won’t happen in steel shackles dude hahaha. Only more brittle metals like aluminum
was expecting to see spencer seabrooks awesome solo on this... was cool seeing andy lewis, hes a power house and the one that got me into slacklining.. haven't gone out on my line in a long time... was depressed there for a while but damn i need to get back to this lifestyle it was amazing and honestly i cant forget the first time i walked like 100ft + line.... i miss those times... the depression i was in almost had me give up on this and forget about it..

I started slacking a few years ago.. I can’t do much flips or tricks, so the high line seems to be the answer for me.. some day soon I hope

This was produced by one dude with a camera and a lot of stoke. Slacklining is still hella underground, nobody is getting rich off this. The portion you linked was from a cruise ship show. Of course, some of the slackliners do shows, acrobats have been doing shows since the dawn of civilization.

I was stunned and really touched by the documentary! 🤩😍😭 I sincerely feel that it is much more about how happy we are and how much we have achieved with joy and fun, with the audacity to seek records, surpass them to just say "fuck that was cool" what next? slackline for me this is infinite and beyond I feel that there are no limits to discover amazing things and have extraordinary experiences over the line.
