I saw UH in 73 and they were awesome, but don't knock Bernie - he's been with the band for 30 years and has done a great job. Without him UH would be no more. Still a great band
Demons & Wizards.............I think I was about 14y old at that time...........I loved IT !!!!!!!! and Still Loves IT !!!! I have seen them about 4 times the last 3 years.... and 12-12-12 I go to see them again ,..........I hardly can wait .......Those guys still perform super & make great new songs !
O.K , I also still miss David ...he had sure a great voice, But.................Bernie is almost as good !! That guy has a great voice and if you meet him live.....he's super symphetic to (But we will always remember David ........)
Great rendition, highlighted by Hensley's righteous slide at the end. They sped up a little which always ruins such a song for me. Poor Lawton, trying to fill Byron's shoes, does an adequate job. Great dynamics at the chorus, very mainstream, almost gospel sounding. The bass player steps all over the end section even worse than Gary Thain did! But, some nice bass moments. Pleasant surprise for an old Heephead who stopped listening after High and Mighty. Thanks.
Uriah Heep is one of the greatest bands there ever was!!! The music is outstanding!!!
Demons and Wizards was the first album I bought as a 15 year old. Their music never fades!
