Her raspy vocals are not only a rarity in the music industry these days but are one of a kind she is impressive.

Also The Washington Postcritics considered her as one of the greatest pop vocalists of this time.
I don't hear it. She sounds breathy and every note feels weightless. She feels like a midling Joanna Newsom (excellent artist) mixed with the ever blander Billie Eilesh.

She is truly incredible. She never misses no matter what she's singing. Ellie Goulding is such a rock star. This is genuinely one of my favorite live performances of hers (next to Stay Awake and Tides), VERY impressed!!! Great job EG!

I swear I’m not a hipster, but I remember when she was just starting off her music career. I was in college, young dumb and in love with a broken heart. Her voice and her lyrics really struck me deep. I was really rooting for this girl to catch a star; then Lights came out!

Man her voice has improved so much since her early days. She has much more power behind every note and she’s learned how to distort her voice at will without harm. She was always very good, but she’s become truly great.

I love her voice so much 💖. So unique. It's angelic, yet raspy. 1:08 I love how her voice suddenly seems to get out of control. It's like she's saying, "Don't come near me" 😁.
WHY IS SHE SO UNDERRATED NOWADAYS 😭
After a draining world tour she took a 5 year hiatus to work on her mental health as she was suffering from depression,panic attacks & Imposter syndrome and at that time other singers took the opportunity to rise (e.g: Dua Lipa,Halsey....). Also when Ellie came back in 2020 with her critically most acclaimed album, Brightest Blue her label had issues with it for the songs not being on their lines i.e not like cheap pop or alternative vibe , they did ZERO promo & ZERO radio release from the main album, so 90% of her audience don't know about that incredible album. In short, her label doesn't promote her well.

Yeah it feels amazing to think that Ellie is a mom now, the best thing is she is so happy with her son,Arthur though she told that she suffered from "crippling" anxiety & panic last year.

What can I say, She's back with a vengeance. This time playing a guitar 🎸. Which she rocks! This is by far her best hit since her breakthrough hit "Lights" and "I Need Your Love with Calvin Harris." Glad she made a comeback. America misses you Ellie.
