Thanks for the review on the Sparrow. I’m actually a lefty as well and must be the way I naturally hold it as I’ve had no issue using it on the lockbar. But I also hate left handed knives and primarily use right side for opening. I only added the reverse clip due to request for it and the instanted on a filler plug as I can’t stand holes and such breaking a design. I don’t design with a “finger choil” as I’m against choking up on the blade. That’s why my flipper is designed as part of the guard. Again personal preference. I’ve had a lot of friends slip when doing that and cut themselves so a guard of some type is important to me. I am a fixed blade maker and this design was from my fixed blade as well. I’m very glad Kizer listened to me on the changes as the prototype needed a lot of work but they finally made those changes and I am very happy with it especially for the price point. Thanks again for covering all of the knives as I always enjoy your channel 🏴☠️
Thanks for the feedback about our knife! Definitely a learning curve for some of the flips for sure due to it's minimal shape haha. Even when we first got ours! Hope ya still give it a chance to prove it's fidgety-ness ;) Appreciate you dude!🔥👊
I saw another video and supposedly the Dogfish clip isn't reversible. That spot is just a hole plug/decoration or something. Either way, I'm loving the look and have had my eye on it the past couple weeks. Definitely plan on pulling the trigger buying it soon.
On the Dogfish is there a bump at the end of the closing action or is it smooth all the way through? Also how easy is the button to manupulate (is it hard to press down enough to disengage and if you press it too far does it stop the blade from closing?
Super stoked for that titanium sparrow and its a little bigger then the original definitely going to grab one i also might get that dogfish theres something about that radial pattern that i like great video man 👍
It’s hard to get that sweet spot with button locks. They’re either really light, and disengage with light spine whack, or they’re really hard, and sticky
Always gonna be weak buttons. Spring locks suck haha. But these are good examples if you are gonna do it. Id say next to Protech and WE, Kizer does it the best.
That dogfish is very neat though I am not crazy about the blade shape. Metaproptizol...cool fixed blade, goofy name (sounds like an anti-fungal medication).
@@LeftyEDC think I've noticed it most on the ones have a "trek lock" style button lock where the plunge goes through a long hole track in the blade rather than catching the end/tang of the blade like Civivi/Sencut/We.

Thanks man! Its a great design.
Thanks for the great words! Glad you like the dogfish!

Thanks man. Its cool for sure. Ill spend some time with it. Thanks for the comment!
Hmmm, even a liner lock is spring locked.
Yea yea 🤣

That last one you didn't like needs that fine Peña style jimping for sure.
Really like that Dogfish!
only at the dealer.. I got the Vincent from MKM .. you know ... GOOD JOB I will watch live

Sorry ull have to see in the video. Its in my passaround right now and i dont recall exactly. Hopefully it shows in the video
I picked up a original xl on sale for 41 bucks its as close to a liner lock detent that I own 😊
That’s the best looking Drop Bear yet. I ordered one. Looking forward to it.
Super stoked for that titanium sparrow and its a little bigger then the original definitely going to grab one i also might get that dogfish theres something about that radial pattern that i like great video man 👍
I feel the same man I heed a detent
Lots of button locks… Kev’s favorite!
mmmmmmmmm i dont know. some people still reporting weak buttons.

Kevin: I hate button locks
Kizer: Hold my beer
Haha

🤣
Man im worn out on button locks
I feel ya
Kizer and Vosteed buttons sound so weird. like a "toink" sound.
Its hit or miss. The cheaper ones do

That's not math, it's called counting
7 of 8 , 8 of 9 - that’s calculus when lights are in ur face and ur looking through a phone camera screen 🤣.
All a bit magnolia for me.
Hard to come across as actually interested, when the knives are definitely not interesting...
