I've worked at a comic shop for a while and a big part of selling is the research. We went by Ebay SOLD prices because there are more average price ranges than say one person selling something for 15 and yet it's worth even more when you look at the past sales. It's important to keep shipping in mind too nowadays!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, I want to get into the toy selling business and I’m so grateful for your channel. Blessings and may you find all the success in the world!
What’s going on brother. I just got into the game of reselling toys and I enjoy so much. I have noticed with the 2012-2013 ninja turtles, they kinda don’t tell for that much. It’s almost in that vintage era. Those I’m definitely going to sit on and wait for the time is right. What really sells for me are PJ masks figures. What action figures would you recommend me looking into? Blessings,
Thanks for commenting Brotha! I appreciate your support- PJ masks sounds like a cool market- I’ll check em out! I also recommend action figure series that you yourself are interested in. I find it much more enjoyable when I enjoy the figures/collectibles I’m flipping! For example, I’m reselling marvel legends but also flipping skateboards! Love both ! Stay tuned for more vids and keep me posted on your journey!! 😎
@@Dez360 enjoyed the vid homie im also just getting into it. literally played figures sense i was 3 to 13 hahahah and i just feel like its some i love so i should make it a career hahah love the vids subscribing, keep doing u man!
Beware of knock offs, you really gotta know your stuff or if your knowledge of particular character/brand is lacking, be sure you can always research on dah spot!
Great point with completed and sold, but you can also use the listed prices to see where you want to come in. For example if all the sold listing were at $20 , and there are no more $20 listings, only $80 listings- that can justify you coming in at $40.. still lowest on the market .
Hey I sell mini figures that cost me less than $1 each. What do you think is a good profit margin? I usually shoot for 30% oh and do you recommend free shipping on ebay?
Hey Chris! Thanks for commenting! I’ll make a video on this soon too - I would recommend a couple things- since the figures are a dollar (range), that’s pretty enticing enough to charge actual shipping. So basically shipping can cost maybe 4 bucks (usps first class) and you can make anywhere from 50 cents to a dollar profit depending on location. Let me know what you end up doing and thanks again!
@@Dez360 thanks for reply. The figures cost 98 cents each and I'm making $1.28-$1.96 per figure (30-100%) and I'm doing free shipping on Ebay. So you suggest charge regular shipping?
@@booman3138 hmmm first I like how calculated your approach is (👍🏾👍🏾), I think all you really have to figure out is what shipping truly costs you and then make sure the overall sale price covers shipping costs without dipping into your 30% margin. I recently sold a bunch of 3.75 inch marvel figures that weighed around 3-4oz max. First class shipping via USPS domestic costed around 2.85 or so. Let me know once your shop goes up as I’d love to check out what you have in stock! Hope this helps
@@Dez360 thanks it's up on Ebay I sell Dragon Ball figures. What do you shoot for a profit margin? I can't decide if lower price and shipping or higher price with free shipping is better. My link is ebay.com/usr/christofemarti-0
@@booman3138 awesome- you really can’t go wrong with either , the free shipping route is always cool, as long as you factor shipping cost in the price! I’d do that!
Who else is excited to learn more about toy flipping?! 🔥🔥🔥😁

That’s not $13 profit eBay takes away like 5 bucks so you end up with $10 or $9 bucks
IN WHICH PACKING U SELL THESE USED TOYS . I MEAN NEW TOYS HAVE THEIR OWN PACKING BUT WHICH PACKING USED TOYS HAVE ?
uh, you need to look at sold listings, not listed prices....lol. Only good thing about this video was the website.
