I’m new to licensing joined audiosparx had two sales and 53 playlist placements in only 5 months. I’m exclusive, featured, and hot new artist. 310 tracks all metadata done. Working really well for me now thanks mate
I've subscribed with AS as non exclusive, but I've never uploaded any track, because I had some doubts about it. Luckily, you've done this useful video and now everything is clear about AS. Tnx as always for your precious work Eric.
Just started with them. Let's see how it goes. With pond5 I had only 3 sales in the first 3 months (only started licencing 3 months ago). Although two of them went for TV so I got $25 for each tracks (And they got $75 pffff). But not sure how to improve my visibility. I have about 10 listens per month. That's nothing. Considering this I have a very high conversion rate. I am not sure how some people get hundreds of views on their tracks.
Great help Eric! So, if I submit tracks for getting accepted as an artist, it doesn't mean that I have to put up those tracks with them(after I get accepted) right?
Excellent info and I appreciate your insightful videos. So here it is 2 years later. How did the exclusives do? Do you feel they made a difference in price/placements? I'm about to try it out on a track I just uploaded.
@@MakeMusicIncome Thanks for responding. Well in that case, maybe I'll let you know how it went. lol. I just uploaded my first exclusive. I've got a couple hundred tracks there but all non-exclusive.
Nice video Eric! I was struggling with some of the topics you pointed out in this video. I have a question though, which I asked both the Artlist team and the Audiosparx one and both of the answers were not clear or really vague. I asked the Artlist team if their content ID system might create some issues to other music libraries that have the same tracks on their own catalog and they answer: I'm afraid we can't get into these types of questions here in customer support. I asked the Audiosparx team what happens if I submit tracks under a non-exclusive agreement with them and another non-exclusive music library such as Artlist puts the same tracks under content Id. They just send me a link about the content ID system and I didn't really find an answer to that. I have the feeling that putting tracks under the Content ID system might become for music libraries a slightly way to have somehow exclusivity on those tracks, because if Artlist put them under the content ID system and there are other 10 "non-exclusive" music libraries that don't accept music under content ID those tracks can just stay on Artlist's catalog at the end of the game, but maybe I am seeing this in the wrong way. Do you think that uploading the same tracks both on Audiosparx and Artlist can create some issues? Thanks again for your content!
Well ( can’t speak about ArtList as I haven’t dealt with them. But I know their other company Motion Array is very much for Content ID. So are P5 and AJ. I think AudioSparx wants more exclusivity AND the Content ID to themselves or not any at all for their customers to deal with. In this way they seem like an exclusive library and believe they would prefer (as most libraries would) that you be exclusive with them.
I'd love to talk to you about Audiosparx. I've been with them since 2010??? A long time. I'm not going to do this publically, so if you wish to know more, find me another way and we'll start comparing notes.
Been with them for a good while, honestly- only Radiosparxx seems to be where I'm getting ANYTHING from. I'd like to get to 50 track first, written and then see about Featured artist.
@@MakeMusicIncome i honestly don't really KNOW how to get bigger placements with them though. I don't know if it's keywords, descriptive titles... I honestly don't have a clue. I'll watch this video later :)
If Audiosparx didn’t have a 60/40 split I’d upload more material. It’s hard for Music Supervisors to pay 100’s of dollars for a track if it’s uploaded for 29.99 on a website.

Glad it helped…it’s “a lot, a lot.”

You seem like a cool person, thank you for this.
Very clear video thank you for the information
Thanks for watching!!
Thanks again for the video AND the step-by-step on how to upload. Very helpful.
My pleasure! Hope it helps!
This is invaluable, thanks for sharing your experience.

As far as I know.

I really haven't had time to do much exclusive with them. The main money I make with them is through Radio Sparx

Could you give them music which is registered with a P.R.O?
Yes, just not anything that is on Content ID. Unless you want them to run your CID, which I would not recommend since their deal is not that great.
@@MakeMusicIncome thank you so much I appreciate that
@@MakeMusicIncomeI am confused. Can you give them music that has content ID under the non-exclusive Radiosparx agreement?
Do you need to have the iswc number for the song? Or is it ok to not list it
I’ve never needed it.
When you say you made $100 of dollars, is this in the thousand range? Or just literally $100?
A little under $300 in the past year and a half.
Thanks 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Yeah, same. Those placements were nice. Will try some exclusive stuff with them in 2022.

Not sure. Will try some exclusive stuff and see if that helps.
Did it work out for you in 2022!?!@@MakeMusicIncome

Do you mean because they can get it at AJ or P5?
Audiosparx used to be 50/50 but like 8 years ago they went 60/40
