I'm using zebronics Zeb buds c2 from March 2023 only for gaming due to 0 latency. I think they are quite loud enough that I have to lower the volume sometimes. I think u got a defective piece. Audio quality is good enough for playing games.

I face the same issue too, my ear gets too hot from the rubber seal, I tried Foam ear tips tho they worked out great, also IEMs like moondrop aria's and Fiio ones have good rubber earbuds I feel they don't irritate my ears as much as others do.
