Love it, I wonder if they have plans to add a lightning detector for us the consumer to take advantage of this valuable resource of monitoring the amount of lightning strikes an distance in a storm.
This looks awesome. Can you only view local weather station data or can I use it to view the data of any weatherlink stations? Does this replace/take place of my current weatherlink live?
@@phenry5083 Yep. They should have made it so that you could view the data you've already uploaded to the weatherlink website, it wouldn't have been hard to integrate that. You cannot view AirLink data either.. I mean, seriously? That's a complete joke! Also, one person has said that screen burn in occurred within 1 hour of use. That's extremely poor at that price point.
Yes, I did it today. But the Sensor Data is not sent to WU. Unfortunate, my Wind Information comes from a Remote Sensor. So WU shows me as not having Wind Data.
Reception from the ISS of the Vantage Vue or Vantage Pro 2 is done in wireless mode. The console, instead, needs to be connected to the power supply as the lithium battery in it is only a backup for when there is an interruption of the power supply considering that with battery power alone the console has an autonomy of about 1 day.
Why not have an app for an iPad or smart phone connected to the weather station instead of a costly proprietary screen? My outdoor lighting and sprinkler systems have this feature and they work quite well.
Am having troubles with my new davis 6313 Console. Monthly and annual data was appearing -- now it disappeared. Told davis bout this issue. Dont know why it's not working -- there working on it. Anyone have this problem
I placed an order as soon as these videos were released. Ship date kept getting pushed and pushed. Last time I check it had been bumped to early April. I cancelled my order yesterday. Glad I did. Lots of flaws and issues on the forums with this display. Sounds like a flop to me. Especially at $550 Canadian.
I've changed my mind. Davis: You really dropped the ball with this device, and you've missed a huge opportunity. After all of these years, it's highly disappointing.
@@Mapantz1 , could you tell please, what exactly wrong with this device? We are planning to order a few units and would like to know more about some issues from a real user that already tested it. Thank you very much.
well to start off its massively overpriced. Not to mention its on the Davis Eco system so you must pay for subscriptions to see your own data kinda bullsh*t!@@macrolabservice1899
But... It has to stay plugged in. You can't sit it on a table running on batteries. Huge oversight on Davis Part. The old Vantage Pro2 Console can run 6 months or more on 3 C-Batteries. This New Console has an Internal Battery for Backup Purposes only, and it will only last one day. Davis should have sold a USB-C Battery Back so it can run at least a month or so without being plugged in the Wall USB-C Power Pack.
Disgustingly over-complicated compared to the previous Vantage Vue consoles. People dont know what reliable technology is anymore. I can imagine this having bugs sometimes in its software.
I own this product, and like it... But??? you have to keep it plugged in all the time. The Internal Battery is only good for 1 day. Very disturbing all the advertising / video's show it sitting there without the chord being plugged in. Has anyone used a USB-C Battery Back to make it standalone. The Old Console can run 6 months on 3 C-Batteries.
piece of junk! I have one and hate it. it is difficult to move around the screens. ii still have not been able to get it to upload information. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!
Awesome! Thank you Davis Instruments! We have been waiting for this console for years!

I hope so too 🙏
Would love that indeed!
Ohh man, fantastic! Awesome. I was waiting this day for a long time. Bravo Davis.
I have been too
It was until I read an an initial review by someone who got one. Davis won't be getting my money for this, now.
@@Mapantz1 Where was the review? I can only find announcements.
They’re still making weatherlink?
Does this replace the current console I have with the Vantage Vue, and can I still use the app on my mobile devices?
Absolutely yes. The new console is the sum of the old console and the weatherlink live.
@@meteogeek thank you
@@daviddamours3201 You are welcome!
@@meteogeek any idea how this work correctly? Cuz i had configutate many time , it works and gett readings for some minutes then disconnect

I think yes Henry, it is a console with integrated a datalogger and the same hardware of the weatherlink live.
Stick with your weatherlink live. It doesn't replace it.
@@Mapantz1 it does everything the WLL does
@@meteogeek found out today that you’re only able to view the data of the local station.

Yes, I did it today. But the Sensor Data is not sent to WU. Unfortunate, my Wind Information comes from a Remote Sensor. So WU shows me as not having Wind Data.
@@Laborkei Does your temperature and rain report to weather underground?
Temps do, we had not had rain yet since I set it up.
What sensor display setting has to be changed to allow displaying the solar radiation sensor?
Will this connect to the Weather Underground, and is it ready for CWOP?
What's the notional range over which this can communicate with the sensors?
If you want range, stay away from this generic branded tablet.
My data is frozen. How do I reboot?
I need help setting up on screen
This is really beautifull, I want one of these and sell my console and WeatherLink Live!
Is it cordless?

They also have an app. You can choose to use that or the separate screen. Maybe learn to read before making baseless assumptions.
My davis weatherlink console just stuck on updating software page, can anyone here give me a solution?
