Good for you, this kind of process is wrong but if you are happy and think "nothing" got inside the xmsn good for you. Working fast does not means a good job. Be safe.
@@raffyreyes5113 as a piece of advice that anything that need to be done following the overhaul and repair book, it should be stick to that book instructions; I would never advice to remove the mast seal this way ( your way) and I was Bell instructor for 10 yrs. Just be careful and be safe!

Ever noticed axial play of the mast when installing back into the main gearbox?
Yes, and it is normal as the bearings are cold. During design they need to leave space sl when the bearing gets hot, it will expand.

All -340 seals used in xmsn, including the Mast seal , wear faster than the older types.
Always has an issue the xmsn leaks..
