Your old one at City Garden looks perfect for me Jason. Great price, & the pool access is a bonus. As i've said in the past, i cant stand heights, so ground floor is almost a must for me. Keep the good content coming mate. Take care.
It’s a great place and well priced, I enjoyed my time there and pool access is so good 👍 Thanks mate
Stepping out Into your pool for 10K a month…wow
@@pdonsudlor5429 it’s good 👍
@@goodvibespattaya24239 15:10
Beautiful place. I like the second one the best . Hope your friend got a good deal. 💜
He did but has since moved out 😊
Just to clarify ...Riviera only allows pets under 10kg. You're not allowed to lead/walk them on property. You must carry them or use a stroller/carrier on property.
Thank you, very helpful and appreciated 🙏🙏🙏
Hi Jason, thanks for revisiting some of the previous properties. You showcase so many properties it is easy to forget some of the good deals that are available. Without being there I already have become quite fond of Del Mare and it will most likely be where I stay when I come back. I hope James finds a place that suits him. A six month rental is a decent amount of time to get to know a condo and an area to make a decision on settling down. If you are not happy you can up and move to another condo to try and find your comfort zone. I think the availability of six month leases is a huge game changer for finding your happiness there. Keep the videos coming and I hope everyone is promoting your channel so we can get you to 10k subs!
Thanks mate, James negotiated a deal in the Riviera and you are spot on with what you said about spending 6 months to see if you like it, way to go in my opinion 👍. Looked at 2 in Del Mare on Sunday, one was 12,000/month old never lived in 👍👍👍
Competent video capture with ambient sound conveys a more genuine sense of place than the sanitized alternative. I’m willing to bet that your viewers appreciate the authenticity of the “mistakes”. ☮️
Thanks mate, much appreciated 👍👍👍
I love it, I'll be moving there soon and on a tight budget so good to see you can still find quality for a good deal.
Cool, hope you get to make the move soon 👍
Although I’ll probably never make it to Pattaya to live there, the cheaper condos you show really appeal to me because I’d probably just need a place to crash for the night and only occasionally stay there during the day. That kinda how I do it here in Brazil. I found a beachfront place in the Northeast that I bought in 2020 (it was cheaper than a new car in the U.S.) I couldn’t pass it up. I spend most of my time outside.
Great video as always.
Looking forward to you hitting 10K subscribers, great accomplishment.
Thanks and yeah that’s how it is for me too, out all day and just somewhere to sleep unless it’s raining. How is it living in Brazil, expensive to live there?
@@goodvibespattaya2423 it’s great living in Brazil. I’m currently in the U.S. until October then will be back there for 8 or 9 months. It’s pretty cheap to live there. The exchange rate with the USD is about 5 Brazilian Reais to 1 dollar. I live about 20 minutes from a big city. About 900K people but the beach I live has about 1500 people.
Here’s a video I made of the area.

Very helpful videos! Enjoying my morning coffee in Jomtien and condo shopping via your channel certainly beats me doing all the leg work. Cheers! I'll buy you a coffee.
Thank you very much, really appreciate it and the coffees too 🙏
Thanks Jason. 👍👍
Thanks Billy 👍
great video! i really loved that view of the Sanctuary. But the condo like your old one was perfect for me. I am not a pool person, but it would be nice to have it right there to take a quick dip!
Thanks Matt, yeah the condo with pool access is good, I really enjoyed my time there. They do have others in the building without pool access 👍
Another great condo tour here thanks. Although Wongamat is all high rise tower blocks with compact looms they do have nice facilities n good access to the beach there…but not for me…esp with the construction of another tower ruining the view…each to their own. Look fward to the Honda Click upgrade…if it’s a big guy then he shud have gone for the PCX / ADV as both got 2 shocks for better ride.🤔😉😎👍🏻🙏🏼
Thanks mate for your feedback, video now up on the Click upgrade 👍
👋Great Channel Jason 👍 Appreciate your hard work
Thank you 🙏 and I also appreciate you for watching and saying that 👍
That pool access condo for $10-12k looks great!
Yep, I lived there for 6 months and it’s good 👍
Thanks for the vlog Jas. Always good to know what's available at a good price.
Thanks mate, appreciate your support as always 👍👍👍
The last one was the best imo, helpful video.
Thanks 🙏
Ah yes Happy First Year Anniv in Thailand, Jaseray!
Thanks mate, last August was checking the place out and finding a condo then I had to go back to Sydney to get organised and returned to Thailand on the 21st October 👍
Great job as usual Jas. Appreciate your time effort and energy. 9840 subs....ever so close. My prediction is 10k before mid month. Cheers!
Thanks mate, appreciate you saying that and yeah close, I hate asking for people to subscribe but 54% who watch aren’t 🤔
@@goodvibespattaya2423 I imagine consistent reminders will get the point across. From a viewers perspective Im never bothered by creators asking. I hear its tough to get channels off the ground and understand the need to reinforce the point.
Cheers!
@@WRUA-cam326 cheers mate, appreciate it 👍
I dont know how some Thai people count the square meters of apartments, but forexample this Riviera not close to 50m`2 . More like 40 maximum.
They include the balcony
So damn affordable, I can lease it for the year and use it as a base to travel around South east Asia!
Yep exactly and great idea 👍
10 000baht that's cheap good video well done thank you from Scott new Zealand
It is, thanks mate 👍
Northpoint has lost their minds wanting 70,000 for a 2 bedroom.
Too expensive of course the pools and amenities are outstanding but ok if you were allowed to put up tent in the grounds lol because the rooms are terrible for the price cheers Jason I'm taking anything away from youn😊
@@joelmonkley6177 lol 😂 pitch a tent 👍
Good to meet you yesterday 👍
I thought Wongamat is called Naklua. Cheap for a month, nice vlog, tnx!
Wongamat is in Naklua, thanks 😊
@@goodvibespattaya2423 Did not know, tnx.
Hi Jason, I’ve been looking at this condo a lot, but my concern is the trip to the beach, is there bus/shuttle, how safe is it to walk, as an a older women😂 thanks cheers
Hi Linda, I assume you are referring to the last building in the video, City Garden Tropicana? If so, they don’t have a shuttle service, many people walk it but it’s a twisty little road and you need to be careful of cars & motorcycles. When they eventually finish the shopping development it will be great. Hope that helps
Hey Jas, still doing a great job Mate. I was thinking about you when Daniel and Oscar were doing well in the last Grand Prix. Any news on the street, out there, about the potential of increase in requirements for the retirement visa? If anyone has thoughts about the possibility and what the increase may be, I’d be interested to hear.
G’day mate, thanks and Oscar drove so well in that race, just amazing for a rookie 👍. In terms of visas I am hearing a few things but no changes yet and all just speculation
13:40 The big buildings to the left are the Lumipini buildings and the big one on the front is the AD Condo. 14:06 the tall one on the left is the AD Condo-Hyatt.
Mate, you know the area well 👍
@@goodvibespattaya2423 That's why we're Wong-A-Mates!
@@bigradwolf5001 absolute GOLD mate, so funny 🤣 lol 😝
Happy Thailand one year anniversary Jas 🎊🍻
Thanks Rob, August last year was spent finding a place and working out if I wanted to live here then went back to Sydney to sort everything out before coming back late October 👍👍👍
@@goodvibespattaya2423 Legend 👍
Looks like James is downsizing. Is he running low on $$? Which condo did he choose or is he still looking? In general, the views of these high floor condos are overrated and lead to overpricing. In addition, close to the beach also sounds nice, but how many people go to the beach and the beaches in Pattaya, and even Wongamat and Jomtien, are too polluted to swim and have dangerous undercurrents.
He is never home and only sleeps there so he figured why waste money on high rent, he negotiated a good price in the Riviera 👍
Great video Jason, what happened to that guy who owned over 300 condos that u we’re going to show us…??
He still has them and in contact with him regularly, I will ask him if I can make some more videos 👍👍
That's not thirsty lol but they normally get 400kms to a 60 litre tank from memory those V6 models... Damn that is cheap for the condos... How nice is the pool there at the start... They are all pretty amazing, very cool
I have to drive it like an old lady, it’s a 2.7 4 cylinder, goes well enough but I just putt around 😂
@@goodvibespattaya2423 Ah yeah there ya go, it's the V6 that guzzles the fuel 🤣
Thanks
Thank you 🙏
Under $10 a day sounds like a pretty good deal to me 💰💰💰
Yeah that was my first condo and I paid even less, 8000 baht/month
I prefer Pratamnak to Wongamat.
Okay 👍
Güzeldi
Thank you !
Thank you too 🙏
Thanks, mate! So close to 10k subs!!! Come on team 👍
Thank you too mate 🙏🙏🙏
I will pack my shit expeditiously lol
Haha do it 👍👍👍
That is Thirsty indeed jason petrol cheaper there then Sydney mate that is for sure keep up the good clips.😀
And I drive like an old lady mate, anyway I don’t drive it much and mostly on the bike 👍
Electricity cheap as chips in Australia now its a fortune jason Thailand is so so cheap .
Yes I have heard that everything has gone through the roof, I just received my rates notice for the house I have and wow, gone up big time 😩
@@goodvibespattaya2423 indeed Jason Australia is not cheap anymore that is for sure.
Hello Jason, Great video and information. I am going again to Pattaya from Nov. 27 thru Dec. 5, 2023 Can you ask James if he has a contact for me to stay at Riviera Wongamat for these dates. I checked in airbnb and there is no availability. Thank you again.
Sorry mate, the property agents don’t do weekly holiday rentals and there is a reason nothing is available, it’s high season and a condo building, not a hotel. I will ask Sean but highly unlikely he can help, sorry for the brutal truth
@@goodvibespattaya2423No worries I understand thank you again for replying, great videos & info as always
@@luisRoma747 sorry mate, you will need to use a booking site or you could try contacting reception

9:34 Are those real plants?
Not sure mate, I didn’t check 🤔
The price on the second condo would have to come down until they finish that building they were working on with all that noise 😨
Yeah and James negotiated the price down and took it
Riviera Bldg A is nice, but pricey, no?
James negotiated a pretty good deal by offering rent upfront 👍
Why do European men wear purses?
Not sure mate 😊
I interested in the city garden for 4 months ,is 10k possible per month?
Minimum 6 months lease, if you are interested please email me and I will forward on to the agent, goodvibespattaya@gmail.com
Thanks
Jason
I thought your mate was purchasing a property not renting?
Nah he’s put that on the back burner
@@goodvibespattaya2423Yes, I think renting is probably the smartest idea. Property ownership in Thailand can be a bit iffy.
@@brucedavis6234 I personally like the idea of being able to move
Is this kind of the lunacy in Thailand. I don't like heights so I would not feel comfortable in any condo above 6 floors and the want you to pay $700+ for great heights and Ocean views. Respectable condo space (Not living in a shoebox) and decent prices make the most sense to me. I'd rather spend the other $350 on restaurants and travelling etc.
Thanks and well said on spending less on rent and more on enjoyment 👍
Claustrophobic for me jason bit tight indeed is james looking for a spacious small condo at 60 sq for me like to move around a bit not feel like a jail.
He ended up taking the 50sqm Riviera after negotiating the price down
I like to watch your videos while I poop.
😂😂😂
And get out of my building 😂
Haha 😂
I wouldn’t pay 1/2 that amount at the riveria! Dude to all the noise!
Yes the noise but the wind was blowing it towards Riviera today
Why’s it so noisy then?
@@naughtynightlifeasia857 construction of the Arom development

That furniture is horrible. Maybe it would rent faster if they spent a couple of bucks and replaced that ancient furniture. 😂
Lol… I know 👍
I’d say 22k and replace that trash furniture.
My mate rented it for 20k and they removed the dining setting and put a modern smaller one in 👍
