Unit of a man, also he clearly loved it at Celtic and doesnt think of us as a stepping stone, like others. I think that’s down to the fact he was just jumping between loan clubs now hes settled and on a permanent contract, so is grateful to Celtic
I feel this is a player who is being let down by the level of competition he's playing. He's clearly one of if not the best CB in the Scottish Premiere league, but that's no longer really much of a test. I mean this is one of if not the hardest game he'll have to play each year, and it's like... maybe good MLS level competition. This is a guy who could really benefit from going up to the Championship or even the Belgium Pro league, but because he's on the big team in the small pond he's not really a value target for a transfer and after so many Championship sides passed on him I wonder if he's got a black mark on him. It would have been great if he 'd managed to stick with Bournemouth.
Celtic won't want to let him go, but I think he'll be gone in two years (if not sooner). Celtic picked him up for 6 million, but they're a selling club, and they're willing to let players go when they can get a good return on the transfer fee. I think that he's shown that he's worth 15-18 million at least, especially because he's just 24-years-old.
@@nicholasjagneaux Transfermarkt has his present presumed value at 9.5 million. I would love to see him have a chance to move up, but if he doesn't move up in the next two years, he's probably going to be like Zimmerman and stuck where he is for economic reasons.
CCV is a monster. He's probably the current Celtic player who has the most respect of the fans. He brings it every match.

For me he's very underrated player. He's a key to celtic they're not the same without him. Player of the season for me
He's such a sturdy bull out there.
Solid performance
He’s clearly worked on the aerial part of his game after getting shredded for a few mistakes last spring.
By a Country MILE..
