Pretty impressive from Paxten. The Eredivisie is a good stepping stone for MLS players making the move to Europe. MLS doesn't prepare these young players for the intensity of the top 5 leagues.
It's a good stepping stone because if you are good in MLS you are probably also good in Eredivisie and can get playing time. You'll only get about 8-10 games a year above MLS level, while getting some easier games to build your skills in. English Championship is the other middle ground league, bit better than MLS, not as intense as the Big 5. Honestly, everywhere else except maybe the Brasiliero is a bit of a waste and you'd be better off in MLS. Busio went up too quickly and I was really worried when he got stuck in Serie B, but he's fighting for promotion now. If he gets back to Serie A he'll I think be mature enough to stay there, or at the very least get some top flight games. Dest though is slumming at PSV. It's like being a top flight team facing MLS teams most weeks.
Well, he's an Aaronson... quick feet, good hustle, good heads up play, annoying as heck to play against because he's like that fly that just won't go away... He's still often reacting without thinking too much. Maybe a 30% improvement in decision making skills and a 10% improvement in accuracy of his pass and he could play at any level.
He gets the ball without having the next move or pass in his mind, that’s why he holds the ball for too long sometimes, Barca academy players are good cause they already know what to do with the ball, he needs to get better in that aspects or he won’t be starting in a top 3 league
He also looks so clean on the ball
My dude has got some speed…
That one sprint he had was impressive in the second half
He is looking better. Keep going!
He and his brother play exactly alike if I didn't know this was him I would think it was his brother! Thanks this video is awesome
*solid af!* i especially like how he isn't flopping around on the ground all the time.
Yes! Need less little brothering hahah

That’s why he’s in the Dutch league mate
Also paxten is a lot more technical and creative than Brendan is.
That one move to evade the incoming tackle while shielding from the defender behind him was smooth.
paxton got burst! hes 0-60 in a step!
love that!
excellent from that video...
He’s buckled up a bit
Definitely taking some body contact and still going ok
he looks pretty good. workrate, composure, creativity. but his side look awful. like lumbering men made of brick
I think I can! I think I can!...

You have to play with teammates that offer you an option for that next move
10x better than his brother.
theyre different.
