Bro I will be down there for the bash! We are staying at little river campground. Did we just meet at the dyno down in Columbus? I was on the red and white monkey.
BILL! Bro, it's me... the guy everyone mistakes for you at group rides, ha, ha. We've rode together before, I've always been on my black OG, I think. We'll definitely meet up down there, it's gonna be killer!
Great video! Thanks for sharing! 🙏🏼 Previously with my SF Grom I used the SMR 60% springs. Do you think I should bump it up to 80% springs on my next Grom build (2025 model)?
Hell Yeah!🤘 I like 60%, but never really tried 80%. After a long day of riding, even with the RSC clutch lever, my finger is pretty worn out and end up using my middle finger to help pull the clutch🤪 I'd think with 80% it'd be way worse. If you're not out riding in a lot of stop/go traffic for hours at a time, I'd imagine you'd be fine though.
@@GromBeardo thanks for clearing that up, I know exactly what you’re saying, I currently have the RSC one finger on my MT07. It’s was a beeotch at first but now my finger has abs haha I think you’re right though I’ll stick with the 60% 👍
How often do you change your oil? I had 25,000 miles on my stock lifter plate (20K with 6-60% springs) and it still looked new without any oil residue, I change the Shell Rotella T4 every 1,000 and once went 1,500...
I change oil and check the screen, clean spinner about every 1,000 miles. That stick lifter plate was out of a bike that I don't think ever had it's oil changed, ha, ha. Clutch was pretty wasted. Screen was full of clutch fibers too.
I'm in Thailand fresh Honda GN4 oil change every 1000K! (621 MI) Note! I will also run a Morin Oil Cooler as well when I get a Beardo moded Kitaco Pump for the 2022 Grom!.....In BKK its pretty much always hot and muggy so an oil cooler is recommended!
See you at the Small Bore Rally! facebook.com/events/235132028192006
Awesome vid man. Keep up the good work. See you at the rally.
Thanks, bro! So looking forward to the Rally! Stay Rad!

Where did you buy the t tool form?
I don't remember, it's just called a tap wrench I think? Local hardware stores usually carry them or they come in a tap&die set.
Are the 22 the same as the sf threading?
Yes! M6x1.00mm
@@GromBeardo thanks bud!
there are Titanium Screws/Bolts out there but they are spendy!
Ti is so nice😁
