Yay!!! I’ve been on trend with the big statement plants and wall plants since last year 😅 who knew I was ahead of the game!

I have been collecting plants for over 7 yrs now and I have been downsizing my plants this last year. I am keeping my more easy care plants or plants I love. I went from over 200 down to 40 and I couldn't be happier. There is so many benefits to a smaller collection

I definitely agree with this. That’s quite a decrease in your collection. I think that’s really inspiring! 👏😊🌿

Enjoyed this video very much, thank you! Good content as always. Plants are just a fun hobby for me. I get a lot of peace, hope, and contentment from both my house plants and my garden. Every Spring I put some of my plants outside and they push out so much good growth. I almost feel like I owe them an apology when I bring them back inside around mid Fall. 😵‍💫. Love seeing the rare plant collections and admiring them from afar! 🥰. Good to know what’s on trend for 2023 and I find that I am in agreement with a good bit of the trends even though my plants may not reflect it. 🤣. Happy growing! 👌🪴🥰

My latest cool plant is Madagascar palm. It has a lot of thorns. I know it's going to be difficult to repot but I think it's worth the pain considering how cool and easy care it is. Just have to make sure there is good drainage and treat it as a cactus. And I think it's going to be fine. Doesn't seem to be a trend but I think it's one of the best statement plants. Besides if it grow too big you can always chop it and make few more plants. I' definitely chop it once it become hard to lift.

I still don't understand why people collect all of the "Designer" Philodendron"s & "Designer" Antherium's that are $100's of dollar's and they all look alike... At least I think they all (Mostly) look alike. I'm thrilled the prices are starting to come down... I collect Hoya's 🥰🥰🥰 but some people think they all look alike... But they don't...at least the uncommon and rare ones don't. Great video... Glad I found your channel... I Just subbed to your channel 🤗🤗🤗 oh and p.s. I think you are stunning ;) nad have a great soothing voice.

I've started outdoor gardening as soon as I had a place to plant. I never considered outdoor planting as a trend but something all people just do. I grow good number of succulents and the reason that's possible is that I put them outside half of the year when it's warm. Succulents (some of them) are very easy given there is enough light. Some of them can handle living in an office but won't look as they were intended to look I also grow things like Ficus elastica and money tree and Schefflera and Dracena marginata in full sun in spring, summer and fall. Very easy plants. All my plants are easy. The difficult ones usually die pretty soon. For the past few years I am growing philodendrons and similar plants. And off course Scindapsus. I couldn't keep the first few alive but when I figured they don't really like the roots to be distributed I have some success. Ot the succulent side I grow few cacti and Kalanchoes. Some kalanchoes are really easy. Also Euphorbia trigona and Madagascar palm. They can grow next to a window too. And that's some Ideas for easy plants. I am into easy plants. Can't deal with difficult plants that need to be watched after every day, week and so on.

@BotanicalBrunette There is this magical plant called Heath. It flowers from fall to spring for at least four months. I don't know how appropriate would be for your climate but it's worth trying. They were selling bunch of them in small pots around Christmas. They have little needles kind of leafs and flower profusely in purple, pink or white.

I've always been more drawn to yellow variegation than white. Everyone is like Albo this, Albo that and I’m over here searching for the Aureas. 😂

Omg I love that! 👏👏 they’re so much less finicky than white variegation IMO

I do prefer the yellow variegations over the white. That being said I don’t really have any variegated plants. Unless you count my vsoh, or golden pothos. The rest of the things are green.

I’m not a huge fan of variegation either. Only on some plants.

I agree with the gold, but not the minimalist. I think the maximalist decor trend is growing.

I’m honestly so torn on this. I see both minimalism & maximalism styles all over. It’s kind of funny because they’re so opposite 🙃
