Brown-capped Pygmy Woodpecker | Sattal | Uttarakhand | May 2024

Also known as the Indian Pygmy Woodpecker, this species is identifiable through its Paler brown crown with contrasting white supercilia and cheeks. Listed as Least Concern by the IUCN Red List, the species is found across India, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
