My 18 year old son went to this game and he had a blast, it was his first game and sadly his last as he passed Christmas morning. I’m so grateful the cowboys won this one because he definitely loved his cowboys and Dak. I’ve never watched football highlights and cried at the same time until this moment 😭 RIP Michael Kane Mostrom The Champion

Minshew is a solid backup. He’s 11-18 as a starter. Definitely not a starting qb
The Eagles are stacked. To have the second best pass rush in league, behind only Dallas, and have those weapons on offense, is a nasty combination. Always thought Minshew should have been signed by Dallas as our backup. He had decent numbers in Jax with not a ton of talent around him.
Im happy we won, but there are some major question marks on this Dallas team. Whomever we play is going to attack that number two corner, and the O line isnt moving people around like they were pre Steele injury. I think we need to reshuffle that combination.

As a Niner fan, this game gave me the absolute chills. Both these teams are beasts.
The eagles certainly looked good. What 4 take ways and only lost by less than a touchdown? Whereas the cowboys produced 4 turnovers and only won by less one touchdown. Granted the cowboys are a really good team but watching this makes me less scared for when they come town and play the niners. I still think dallas can win but I’m more confident in thinking they won’t after watching this.

Daron Bland truly shows up when needed… the dude is tough. The man clutches up. The other week they were saying Matt Ryan gave him the TD’s when he clearly fought for them… the same way he did this game. It’s his style of playing! love the kid man🔥

He is also the most humble guy…. Fans waited outside to see the players and he went out of his way to sign SO MUCH stuff for all the fans and took his time. All other guys maybe signed 1-2 things and dipped. No hate to the other guys just wanted to point out how humble the kid is

To me the most amazing things was how much Dak was balling out. 77% completion percentage, 347 yards and 3 TD's all while being sacked 6 times. Just awesome play.
Been a Cowboys fan for 40 years and this got to be one of the top games in this rivalry!! Can not wait to see them in the playoffs! GREAT GAME EAGLES!

I’m an eagles fan but this is going to go down as one of the best games between these 2. The build up leading up. Minshew playing, 4 TOs, both offense exploding, 3rd and 30(game changer). What a game
It was a terrible game in which the Eagles kept the Cowboys in from their own mistakes. If Hurts played, the Eagles blow them out by 20+. It literally took 4 turnovers, a back-up QB, a miracle on 3rd and 30, and some blown calls for Dallas to squeak by in the final minutes. Also, the game is irrelevant, Eagles will easily get #1 seed and the division title. This was the superbowl for Dallas.
With Cowboys losing tothw Jags it kind of made the game meaningful. Tbh

I really hope Dallas doesn't turn into something like those Marty shottenheimer teams, where they would win 13, sometimes even 14 games, and they'd always be one and done. You never know obviously what could happen, but Dallas has a coach who's won a super bowl, and they have arguably the best qb in the league, of the current qbs.

If you remember last playoff game, we had a very slow start, with many undisciplined penalties that completely threw off any chance of us winning. But if we start well, keep the defense on their toes, it’s not impossible to win. And even after all those penalties, we still had a chance that got called down sadly.

WOW! What a game this was! Both teams went out and had a battle all 4 quarters of the game and it came down to the absolute wire! Imagine a round 3 in the Divisional between these guys. This is definitely up there as a game of the year candidate. Hopefully they have another matchup soon with both teams fully healthy because that would be amazing to see.

I think this was a great test for our secondary vs minshew cuz I think he's a better pocket passer than hurts and the eagles were healthy (with goedert back) to see what we have moving Bland to the outside
This is my favorite game all season. We had a slow start but we picked up momentum and sealed the win. Great game eagles. Eagles is a great team as a cowboys fan. Both offenses and defenses did a great job this game.

How close this game was is truly incredible. We turned the ball over way too much and gave up way too many points. Yet we still had a chance at the end to win with a TD and extra point and with a backup QB. The Eagles need to be more disciplined come playoff time and get the job done because Dallas is no joke. Both Minshew and Prescott balled out, great game from both teams and I’m glad my Cowboys emerged victorious today. A win’s a win.
Minshew was accountable for 3 turnovers and every Eagles drive that didnt end in a touchdown or turnover was because of a bad throw by him. He played like a backup. He's better than some starters, but he def helped the eagles lose this game.
@@billycostigan1247 There’s no denying he made his fair share of mistakes as well, and he definitely was too reckless in important situations. Our defense was terrible most of the game, which was immensely frustrating and has to start improving soon. Can’t continue playing like this down the stretch.

Probably the first game in a while where I couldn't care less about either team going into the game but never stopped watching until the very end. That was great game!

I thought the same about Minshew. Barely heard of him before, but he played his ass off! Life-long Boys fan, but it was easy to tell that Minshew could start over about 8 other starting QB's in the league. He doesn't hold the ball long, and he is pretty damn accurate! Hurts is a better "runner", but it looked like Minshew was a better passer. And, that's what QB's are hired for; to pass, not to run. That's what you have RB's for, right? I am aware a scrambling QB is a positive, but, as we know, many times they start relying on their legs, and NOT their arm, more and more. Just look at AZ's QB, now injured. Great runner; so-so passer.

@@Scream_Captain anyone who understands football knows the Super Bowl is a process. A team just doesn’t come out the blue and win one. For the first time since the 90’s we have built on the previous season. It was always up and down without consistency. This year was better than last. Now they have to make all the business decisions and build again. Dan QUINN coming back is a huge plus. We are stuck with Dak but it can work with the right OC and run game. Looking at the coaches they aren’t bringing back, it looks like that is the direction we are moving in. I am a realist with football and don’t wear the cowboys rose colored glasses.

If they part ways with Kellen Moore and bring in a seasoned OC that knows blocking schemes and play action, we will be fine next year. Moore is too young and doesn’t have the experience.

Gotta say, as a Cowboys fan this was a great showing of how good the eagles are. Minshew played well and the offense and defense really showed how they earned those wins. If it was a competitive game even with hurts out and maybe Dallas being a bit too relaxed by that in the beginning, that means a match between the two later on could be one hell of a nail biter. GG Eagles, even being a division rival, gotta say, much respect for team performance and heck, you beat the patriots in the Super Bowl so you get a gold star in my book, haha. Good luck in your upcoming games Eagles fans, I know you don’t really need it with how well the team performs but if I end up watching them in the Super Bowl, they absolutely earned it.
