My ferret loves the rice box I just have to replace the rice every 4-7 days. He eventually gets lazy and just shits in the corner of the box. Sometimes it makes it a week and other times it makes it just a few days.

What size is your wire mesh on the enclosure? I’m getting a full micro and worried the mesh on mine might be too large of a hole
We use 1" square (25mm) mesh, and 16gauge thickness
If I try rice, I will cook the rice after they play😂
