_Yes!_ I was hoping that you two would do this one during your little miniature RWBY spree, and I'm so glad you did. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is my favorite song in the entirety of RWBY - second is Hero, third is One Thing, fourth is probably Indomitable - and man did you two do it justice.
For all its flaws and production hookups, nothing can ever make me stop loving RWBY. It's far from perfect, but when it hits the mark, man does it ever!

Show's quality might have gone down the crapper, BUT this will forever remain as one of my favourites.
Honestly the music is the only thing that's stayed good, since it's the only thing that's stayed the same about the series.

I've been feeling really nostalgic today and remembered your RWBY album...
I know every single one of your RWBY covers by heart, I very clearly remember listening to all of them at least once every day for months...
It's crazy to think it's been pretty much a year since the This Will Be The Day cover, my life has changed so much since then but I still remember it distinctly...
I legitimately shed a few tears listening to the album again, it really brings me back...
It was the first time I realized how much I truly loved the combination of your absolutely incredible style and Rena's absolutely incredible voice...
Words can't even come close to expressing how thankful I am to you and Rena for creating all the covers in this album, all of them are absolute masterpieces...
This all might sound a bit silly, this album is a really weird thing to feel nostalgic for, but I just wanted to try to express how much I love it.

One of the best songs in RWBY, hands down
Listening to this song back then I thought it only applies to the season. Now years later and looking at the crazy things going on around us this song now it hit a little different now.

And the nostalgia has only gotten stronger with time... It's crazy how nostalgia can latch on to the most obscure and niche things. Sharing nostalgia with people is amazing, but being the only person in the entire world who is nostalgic for something is just an indescribable feeling...
I've figured out a lot about myself since these songs released, and my life has changed drastically. But throughout all of it, I've still been coming back to this album, it just brings back such specific memories of momentarily finding such strong enjoyment in a life that otherwise didn't have much

Just yesterday I snapped at someone who has responsibility over me. I got tired of their abusive behavior and stood up for myself... And it spurred me to move forward so that I'll find a way to be free of them.

Rwby went to hell after vol 5. Forcing straight characters gay, adding a man pretending to be a woman, inserting irl politics. I’m glad rwby is dead. It’s an insult what they did to Monty’s creation.
I miss rwby but it’s not worth feeling sad over a show with no soul or storyline.
"Are we heroes keeping peace or are we weapons, pointed at the enemy so someone else can claim a victory?" I will always love this fucking line! It doesn't matter if it's the official version or a cover, it's without a doubt one of the hardest hitting lines in all of RWBY's songs.
And the answer is both. They are not exclusions.
Hits harder after volume 8, where War, the song that plays when they face the Ace ops literally has the lines:
Just a mindless weapon pointed at an enemy
A simple tool providing someone else with victory
