I like it, but for a stock motor and stock turbo, it's a bit much, I am going to build a motor soon but when I get back from Japan I will be doing head studs and the stage 2 stuffed and get a tune to stack the jb4 on, then will do another dyno day like to see 270+ on the stock lower end
Nice! I have the about the same set up on my 2016 DCT Veloster turbo. extras are the High flow cat down pipe from pierce motor sports and full MBRP exhaust and Stuffed turbo from KDMTuners. Mine got louder when you step on it but WOW she's a new car! Shes a blast on the track now. Loves to turn like she's on rails. Huge difference changing to BC coilers and Yokohama Advans. Cant wait to see your progress!
I am waiting for my Stage 2 Stuffed Turbo to come in, I picked up a catless down pipe, new fuel system DW300 and fuel line, also I just got a Lap 3 ECU. Once I have all these mods added I will run it again. I am hopping to see a big jump in power
no its the same exhaust just a bigger impeller wheel. you will want to get the ARP head studs. which I am told you can exchange without replacing the head gasket. we will see
@vampstertv1122 all the mods I have installed are listed at the beginning of each video, I have not installed my new stage 2 turbo or head studs yet, that will be what I do when I get back from Japan in May
So far I have had no problems or issues with mine, when I do the new built motor I will be upgrading the trans at the same time. I am wanting to run between 350-400hp
@@spectrum870 no cap buddy, custom tune & a alot of supporting mods. the VN is still new with aftermarket support. check my vids to show v8 kills and an RS. 🤷🏽♂️
so with dct trans being limited at around 300hp whats your goal to go past that if you are trying to
This is a track car for me, I will be building it to 400hp, and will have the trans built for that in mind

I have a very similar setup. . If I buy a stuffed turbo, do I need to buy a new intake manifold or anything?

Did you have to get an OBD splitter for them to hook up for dyno and have the JB4 plugged in?
I installed one when I put the JB4 in, this way if I needed to run test I would not have to unplug it,

How’s everyone’s dct doin on these torque levels? Everyone’s been gossiping over that lately even I want to know lol

@@ikiru1969 I’m running a 2021 Kona 1.6t with a dct im wondering if that kind torque
The few 400 plus builds I have seen with DCT have changed the clutches and put in limited slip. other then that I dont know
I push 265-270 on my 2016 veloster turbo, fun car
I hope to get close to that with the next upgrades to the car, just waiting for the Stage 2 Stuffed turbo and ARP head studs to come in
That's cap unless you have an upgraded turbo. My veloster N fbo stock turbo and jb4 only made 295whp.
