A song about a cop who was after truckers because they were truckers. Nothing about vaccines which protect us all. Best wishes from the UK to all those Canadian Truckers. Give em hell.

" You could tell by the smell we was headed for hell ..." 🤣🤣

American truckers
My dad used to take me around in his flat faced peterbilt! And he played this song on the radio! It was awesome It was blue and white with blue stripes curling down to the grille he is still alive today and it’s the truck he still uses to make deliveries!
I love this song!.
This song was in my dad's driving mix for good reason. Years later, playing GTA, I'd always switch to rebel radio so that if I heard this song, I could get into a 18-wheeler with a police chase..
Nice. First time I nicked a big rig in gta this song came on. It felt fuckin mighty
I cant believe i havent done this yet😮
I'm surprised I haven't seen a full session of players either In a truck convoy police cars and one police heli to record it all.
I was playing darts at the bar in the desert when this came on the jukebox. Talk about random
Me too, i'm here only for gta 5, i liked this song so much
Listening to this for the truckers! Hold the line.
Yaaaaaaaas 🇨🇦
HOLD!! GIVE THEM NOTHING, BUT TAKE FROM THEM EVERYTHING
🇬🇧 backs the Truckers 👍

Still listening 7th June 2023
I love being in CDL Trucks. I remember the first one I was in was a Peterbilt. It was fun. This song rocks.
And today started the Canadian's truck freedom convoy.
💯
both trucks ?
Right wing sellouts truckers, lolz. You guys make less than half of what teamsters make. Always remember truckers outlaws, anti government and pig. Acab! No gods or masters.
This is the most American thing I've ever seen from a great English man.

One of the best movies!
This movie is made 9 years BEFORE I was born.
Still, now I have 37 years and watched this movie yesterday, again.
Music, Actors, Truckers.... oh my....
😊 So happy to say I went to the drive in to watch this. And this song became a relevant part of my life. My mother divorced my step dad, took up trucking and drove for 31 years...
Always Break for truckers unless you're in front of them. Time is money to these drivers. Please don't take up too much of theirs.
To all the truck drivers, thanks for all you do! You keep this country running. My grandpa was a truck driver. Bless you all!
10 4 good buddy thank you for the acknowledgement. Have a good one and keep the greasy side down.
10-4 Keep on trucking

More than you'll ever know good buddy. All them bears can take a 10-100.
You should see the movie. A real classic for anyone who doesn't have soylent for blood
HAHA. LOL. I was thinking the same thing. STRAIGHT to youtube to check it out! And pull up the lyrics! So fitting eh? :)
I was 6 in 1976 spent the summer vacation trucking coast to coast in his gmc astro 95 350 cumins big cam 13 speed and a great dane reefer. Did it in 77, 78, and 79. Best years of trucking. I remeber the 100 truck plus convoys we would line up in. The truck stops were amazing. Boomtown, 7 miles west of reno had atruckers appreciation week and we stayed there the whole week! I am a lucky kid at 53. Thanks Dad, RIP sir!
This is one song Shazam can’t identify . Great movie too🇨🇦
Loved jamming out to this song in a truck as Trevor.
me as literally any character
Nothin like driving a station wagon down a mountain with this blaring
Me as franklin wearing camo listening to this
There should be an Easter egg in GTA 5 where if you drive the truck from the music video while playing the song on the radio, you can make the truck fly
When you had that mission where you steal that truck that’s being escorted by the military this was playing when i was driving and i laughed so hard that i would just sing along to it
My daddy was the oldest of 12 kids. He and 8 of his brothers were truckers. He died in 1995. This movement makes my heart swell with pride. I had a tough relationship with my dad, but he'd be right there in the middle of this if he were still alive. God Bless this Convoy 🙏🏽 ❤
Im not a trucker and nobody in my family is and im exploding with pride anyways, its one of the most beautiful things ive ever seen. RIP to your dad, you know hes smiling down at this, its probably visible from heaven at this stage lol
I've been trucking for over 40 years.
The truckers have been disrespected for years. Now the very people who have treated us with the most disrespect are finding out just how rough life is, without the lowly truck driivers!
" SUCK IT UP TRUDEAU, IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO GO"!
May your dad rest In Peace with all the other truckers God bless
My Dad to.
God Bless Your Dad May He R.I.P. ❤
I'm 54, was 5 when this hit the charts. Loved it. Passed my hgv class1 today. Havnt stopped playing it😂🎉
This song, because of current events has taken on a whole new meaning and it's showing itself to be really relevant😂😂😂
Perfect song for the trucking convoy that's decending upon the parliament in Canada right now!!
I came here just to find this comment. God bless them and drive safe
Great coverage of this event on Telegram 👍
Yeah that made this song come to mind
Im glad i found that comment. Im no trucker but i'm headed there as well. This will be history boys!

I would love to come to America and drive cross country and get into bar fights it’s on my bucket list
Ghost Riders in the Sky is the Horse song.
Convoy is the Truck song.

They're the same song, for a new generation, as Ride of the Valkyries and Ride of the Rohirrim.

@Roman K meow.
I love this song.
as a Texan, gotta bump this today
I remember thinking this would never be possible in real life but here we are FREEDOM CONVOY!!!
Free to take a dump on homeowners front yards, block delivery routes for meds and groceries for seniors, pollute downtown air, make kids afraid to go outside to play, harass homeless shelter staff, harrass employees of small businesses....so much freedom from law and order, and civilization and common decency.
Hey Mari, just because you’re willing to bend over for govt mandates doesnt mean the rest of us are done fighting. SMD, B!
@@hidden3829 And your fighting includes harassing people who aren't politicians and vandalism? Wow you're a freaking hero
@@mariposa9506 While I agree some of those actions should not be supported at all at the same time theres always gonna be some dicks mixed into any group that big, the majority of stuff ive seen there has been peaceful, and it is nowhere near as bad as the majority of the big protests that go on down in the states, hopefully it can remain peaceful and they can shake off the small group of racists and trouble makers for the most part
Proud Canadian here
Just lost a very good friend recently who was known as rubber duck by his other trucking friends. This is the first song they played at his funeral and it just felt right

Too bad these truckers aren't heading to Texas
This needs to be played on all radio stations across US and Canada now that they have vaccine mandates.
They need to play it once an hour across Canada, and the Canadian version with the freedom convoy on its FIFTH day, landing on Parliament Hill on Saturday from 12pm Canadian time.
@@cybervoyager8668 Unite!!!🚛🚛🚛🚛🚛🚛🚛. Let's roll, convoy!!!
@@cybervoyager8668 The Freedom Convoy isn't about getting rid of the vaccine, it's about having the choice to get the vaccine.
Make asking for proof of vaccination illegal and punishable by a 5000$ fine like they did in Texas!
@@gymguy25 That's going a bit too far, an independent store owner should have the right to who goes into their store, if they don't feel safe having unvaccinated people in their store then they should have the freedom to kick them out.
Cw Mcall was responsible for selling a extra million cb radios in the 70's
Ed Newman OutDoors
As kids in the 70s we would sneak into the garage at night to talk to to each other on our dads’ car CB radios.
Never even occurred to us to actually take the car out for a joy ride!
And thousands of base stations that would walk all over drivers in the channel. Kids.
Kimberly M Yup...just stepping on everyone!!
More like 2 million
Newman OutDoors , that’s true. We bought one too , just for fun. Probably our first cell phone.😊
My grandfather loved songs like this, and this and Mississippi Squirrel Revival were some of his favorites. There's something about those two songs, it's almost like I can feel him with me, like he never left.
Rest in peace, grandpa.

I am American and I would like to dedicate this song to the Canadians/ truckers doing their thing in Canada right now. Vive la liberté!
@@eyecomeinpeace2707 Really? Did you really have to write that? Viva la libertad! You ain't Spanish either, but figure it out!
@@gethighonlife11 Nah...just fed up with uninformed Americans who thinks everybody speaks French up here. We get it a lot. And we ain't British either. Peace to you broh.
@@eyecomeinpeace2707 Well, I think actually most of us forget that there are people who speak French up in Canada because most of what we hear & see coming from Canada is in English. Is it only Quebec that is mostly French?
@@eyecomeinpeace2707 I come in peace!🤗🤗. I know that every Canadian doesn't speak French! You got the point of my message from the first sentence. Don't be like that! This has always been a song about freedom against tyranny. Keep on truckin'!
indeed. The song is about civil disobedience (without burning down buildings or attacking people, BTW) and it inspired the 1978 movie, "Convoy", with Kris Kristofferson and Ali McGraw, which was also about freedom from government overreach. CB radio was at its height of popularity in 1978.
A song about a cop who was after truckers because they were truckers. Nothing about vaccines which protect us all. Also notice the movie had African Americans who were against oppression by the police as well. The truckers protesting today are tyrants because they are costing people jobs and money and impeding progress.
@@hiphopunike14 The 1975 song is simple civil disobedience: "I says, "Pig Pen, this here's the Rubber Duck, we just ain't a-gonna pay no toll", So we crashed the gate doing ninety-eight, I says "Let them truckers roll, 10-4" much like today. And please drop the race-baiting.
