Thanks, helpful. I just cleared the drain line on my 2015 Traverse. On those little flaps at the end of the drain hose, I suspect that they're reed valves that are intended to prevent critters from entering the drain tube. In Florida here, we have all kinds of things from insects to lizards to small frogs that could be attracted to the water in the hose. In my case the reeds did a good job trapping the crud trying to get out of the drain hose, as well.
I am having this same problem. Air blows out just fine, but am being told by a mechanic it will be over $500 to fix. Said condensation drain is clogged and blower motor is going out. But the air blows out just fine and is cold as ever. I haven’t been running the air until this is fixed but I feel like the blower motor is fine and they may be trying to rip me off. I am going to try this tomorrow.
Ours doesn't work now. But it's a different issue. The line that goes to the back leaked out the freon. GM use the plastic clamp on an aluminum line. And over time sand and dirt getting in between there and jiggling has wore a hole in it. They do make a replacement kit for these lines but it looks like one heck of a task to change them I've seen a few UA-cam videos on it. I'm going to end up having my cousin probably change the line or see if we can't put a fix on where the line went bad. It sucks right now because it is so hot out and this vehicle is black with a black interior.

Yeah it backed up all the way to the blower motor for my wife's ride. I couldn't believe the amount of water that came flying out
