And in Marathi Varkari Sampradaya, it has been said--- "आदिनाथ गुरू सकळ सिध्दांचा"(Aadinath is the Guru of all the Enlightened Masters). Aadinath is the same as Shiva or give him any other name.
@death00123 🙏 Osho and Krishnamurti also spoke against each other. There are a few other examples. I think its divine working; only foolish devotees quarrel. I tell the real spiritual thing: Shiva is the Nirguna Brahma and Aadiyogi is the Saguna Brahma or form of Infinity. Why this quarrel???😄
What sadhu guru says is right, but Sri ravishankar says or want to win for what purpose, is it a intellectual debate . New thoughts flows make way for it . And be in the society.
Sadhguru and Srisri spoke these facts at different contexts. Why the media is combining this, which was said at different events and contexts. They ate not confronting. I do have the experience..if your body is totally synchronised with nature it is impossible for that person to sleep at that night..I personally experienced this
But you are saying opposite, the ppl who are yogi, bharmachaari etc they sleep early and they wakeup early, like sadhguru said waking up around Bharma muhurta for spiritualy active ppl ? Second thing if wake up at night then what time sleep day or afternoon?

Stay united but we must have healthy debates to find the higher truths of life otherwise we will be stuck in lower truths such as modern science and repeat the endless cycle of birth and death.

Bro, u haven't heard the other videos of Sadhguru where he mentions that Shiva is cosmic energy etc., just like Sri Sri Ravishankar. You are wrong. There are many sadhgurus. And there is mahavathar babaji. And beyond all that there is trimurtis and jagadguru Shiva who is acting through various gurus we see.

100% agreed that this kind of controversies are not at all necessary, especially especially during these times where an absolute unity among Sanatanis is required.
When Ravishankarji speaks about Shiva he sees. Him as Brahman whereas Sadhguru mentions His one aspect as Aadhi Yogi , introducing Yoga to humanity. Both are correct.
Exactly! These people don't seem to understand; they're just playing with words out of ignorance & trying g to create controversies where there are none!

Yes, you are absolutely right. It's like if a person teaches math, then he or she is called as Maths teacher. Similarly, Adi yogi as a being was the first yogi to spread the knowledge of Shiva to humanity (sapta rishi), therefore that first yogi was called as Shiva too by the people. So, Shiva as a being is different from Shiva as a divine abstract transcendental entity. Furthermore, everyone is Shiva in the fundamental sense meaning that our absolute self is Shiva which we called as pure consciousness (Parabrahma). It's due to the veil of ignorance(Maya) that we feel separated from our true Self (Shiva) .
Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar talks on shiva as the subtle aspect of our being. He is not trying to bring down anyone but answering the misunderstood concept of Shiva. Keeping shiva limited to any being and classifying shiva as adiyogi and adiguru is limited to a particular time. However in the universal realm of life, the subtle aspect of Shiva is not any person, but the vibration itself.
Sadhguru never said that Shiva is Adiyogi. It is the opposite. Sg has described the first person who transcended the limitations of duality and became first known person who did that, that’s why he is Adiyogi. And as this person (Adiyogi) has become one with everything or has become No-thing, he has become Shiva, or in other words he has touched that subtlest aspect of the existence or Shi-Va. It means that each of us has the possibility to become Shi-Va.
My Spine. That was a sixer. Out of the ground :) I used to read a lot of scriptures. After doing Isha courses, understood what should be the priority. Sadhguru teaches the missing link. It is written in the scriptures itself, that spoken/written words cannot convey Yog/Dharm/Shastra in its entirety. Too much dependence on scriptures makes one Padat Murkh.
Comparing two spiritual master's words is not right. They both say glories of shiva. By showing edited videos it will only create controversy which the other Dharma people will make fun of. We cant compell small children and very old people to sit and meditate on Shivratri night when their body does not allow them, but yeah a physically fit person who seeks spiritual growth can definitely do that. Sri Sri's Shivratri programme is also attended by millions of people from all over globe let's not show them that only we are right and they are wrong, coin has two sides and each spiritual master has its own way and own perspective. Sadhguru and Sri Sri both admire each other's work for society, lets not create small controversies over small things that will devide us.
Well, I personally feel Jaggi ji isn't enlightened nor an enlightened person celebrates its enlightenment day or Claims that he is enlightened in response to an external triggering when asked a question. Second, isha foundation people are so scared and shallow that if they were truly spiritual they wouldnt bother to justify their Guru's video in contradiction with another Famous Guru. I have never seen Art of Living social media accounts directly taking names of Isha or Jaggi Vasudev to justify any video of Sri Sri which is contrary. I think wise ones will know who's Enlightened and who's a fraudster !
Even Sri Sri Ravishankar conducts events through the Shivaratri night, attended by millions around the globe and he too stays awake. He meant, it is not harmful to lie down. There is no contradiction or controversy here. Similarly, about Adiyogi, there is a material and spiritual angle to everything in existence. It is just that one is referring to the spiritual aspect and other is referring to the material. There is no contradiction here. It is like saying Dvaita and Advaita are contradicting each other, but they are just two different perspectives of existence and both are right.
I feel this media nonsense has created all the tiff….. I haven’t seen a video where Sadhguru is saying that lying down on Maha Shivratri will do something bad to you, he just said keep the spine erect that night to reap benefits of upsurge of energy! It’s ok to disagree…. And even if these two gurus should put it in a specific way! Both gurus speak about the body energy and both are highly respected…. I feel no one should try to shatter that respect in any Hindu mind Neither media, content creators nor the gurus themselves Great respect to both these gurus 🙏🏻🙏🏻

No, wrong argument. Common Hindus are selfish and they value material wealth more than anything that's why we are falling behind. We have many forms of God and we have many customs that's what make our religion beautiful.

Sadhguru has made it clear to the people, just how important it is to grow tree's, having a tree farm!!! How many little rivers and streams have they helped to come back to the land and the farms, how many of them talk about saving the soil? How many of them talk about creating Heaven on Earth.. All I see them doing is riding on Sadhguru's back, you don't have to do this, you don't have to do that, I don't care what they say, fine.. I actually think that Sadhguru don't really give a rats ass what they think or say either!!! that's just my opinion, why? Because he is Shiva's partner! Shiva recruited him, these same people are trying to say that Shiva never actually existed.. how sad, very sad only!

Everyone has right to express his her opinion about the Shiva so We can't say who's right or wrong, one can do sadhana following one of his guru and experience the shiv tatva itself.......
A few vital points if you have brains and are a proud sanatani: There is a reason why Shiva is depicted with a "lingam" and not an idol. If everything is shiva then there is no need to put a specific shape and form of a human to it. Secondly, saying things that are coming from "inside him" and not from the scriptures and how he has discounted the vedas doesnt really make him a flag bearer of "Sanatan Dharma". And thirdly, Sri Sri's answer on staying awake during Shivratri has been completely misquoted. The question was if it is harmful to sleep during Shivratri as this can be a superstition among masses. To which he said, not necessarily. Even Art of Living has huge elaborate satsangs and Rudrapooja (from vaidic tradition) during Shivratri. I wonder why you didnt mention that. A cult is built on keeping your brain aside and just following the thoughts of one person blindly.
So basically shiva is not a person it’s over cosmic stuff but Shankar became Shiva after enlightenment. So according to vishnu puran Shankar came from vishnu and brhma and shiva is a state of enlightenment
None can compete with sadguru when it comes to the truth, rationality, wisdom and oratory skills . How people like nashedi (AP) , RAVISHANKAR CAN be called spiritual leader when one can see jealousy in their content against sadguru.
I think he didn’t respond to Sadhguru’s message because, on social media, the idea is spreading that Shiva was merely a man who lived 50,00 years ago, reducing him to a historical figure and missing the deeper truth. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar might be trying to challenge this misconception. It’s beneficial that both perspectives are available on social media, as it encourages people to think critically and not blindly accept something just because it was said by someone.
I totally agree with you. Please defend & protect Sanathana Dharma. All our Rishis who penned our scriptures , got their gnyanam / enlightenment from deep meditation for years not from Books! Sanathana Dharma is many faceted & ALL need to be respected. Jai Bharat Mata.
According to Srimad-bhagavatam, lord Shiva comes from lord Brahma and lord Brahma comes from Vishnu. Shiva doesn't act on his own. Only Hare is the supreme enjoyer.
“Gurus respond based on the moment and the context of a question, which makes their guidance unique and deeply insightful. To truly honor their wisdom, it’s important that social media content reflects this, avoiding comparisons or content that might unintentionally create division. Let’s focus on sharing their teachings in ways that inspire unity and understanding.”
Salute to both the enlightened beings.....most of us are not capable to judge their Leela....Joy Guru, we love them both...... different perspectives are fine in Sanatan.....it is not necessary we agree.....Agreement and Commandments are not our path.....we are argumentative Bharatiyas
Both said shiva is the cosmic energy Sri Sri has also said in other places it’s good to meditate on shiv rathri and aol has a similar event on shiv rathri. What Sri Sri was saying it’s not harmful to sleep that night . It’s definitely great to meditate that night as most have experienced Leave the words and abide in the silence of shiva within. Om shanti!
Both Gurus are great, their role is of great importance to sanatana dharma today. We accept both. We are able to understand both; but cannot understand the purpose of debate please. Seek blessings from both!
Yes, shiva is everywhere, but how to realize and experience that he's everywhere? - through yoga. These are two sides of the same coin, no need for conflict. Namah Shivaya 🙏
Sadguru does not rely on Books and Texts. He has direct access to the Knowledge and Wisdom. I can sense the energy of the Full Moon and Sacred Spaces. I know when some Guru is Real Spiritual Scientist or just a Book-Educated Guru. These types of gurus may perform rituals but their rituals are dead and has no Energy Work. We are able to enjoy Sadguru now because his Work is Done after the Dhyanalinga and instead of dying right-after people around him kept him alive to honor his work that is why he just shares everything before leaving this plane.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is on the dot. That is how Shivam have to be looked at., Which fills the entirety and in which every thing happening is Shiva. What is the end and what is start for creator and Creation. It is allways there. Love the discription from Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
I am an Aol follower
I also admire Sadhguru equally
Read his books
Even if Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji has made some comments
the social media need not highlight them or compare them
A totally foolish attempt !!
Both of them are doing in their own ways - uplifting the Human Spirit
In quite modern ways
In fact I tell people learn Sudharshana Kriya or Isha Kriya
Whichever you prefer
The effect is same
The spiritual growth is inevitable
I am grateful to be living in their times
Let both the Organizations grow many fold
The Sanatana Dharma is introduced to us in quite unique ways
Accolades 🎉to both the new age Gurus 🙏🏽
They are speaking to their own disciples.so the advice is for the people who follow their path. These videos should not be uploaded .
What is surprising is that Guruji chose to pointedly speak.
Something that in my opinion, should have been avoided.
It was totally unnecessary of Sri Sri to call something Sadhguru has said as nonsense. He should mind his language and intentions.
when 2 guru saying stuff that contradicts, the followers are confused.. of course they gonna point out and highlight the issue
Gurus do this intentionally. As you said, let it bepur private exploration and uhnderstanding, not for social media. Jai Gurudev
Sanatana Dharma is multi-faceted and multi-dimensional. We love both of them and their perspectives
Interesting.

Yes you are right.
Sadhguru talks about Shiva beyond adiyogi too. But Sri Sri Ravishankar's tone was attacking.
Wow !! The humble presentation of this video shows the growth and maturity of Ishangas!!
Jai gurudev
Sri Sri is talking about Shiva the Phenomenon, which is not even Perceivable without being Enlightened.
Chi energy,5th element...
Absolutely agree! It makes sense & yeah
Wise ones will know i think!)

"Adiyogi" is a term commonly associated with Lord Shiva, particularly in the context of yoga and spirituality. While the term "Adiyogi" isn't directly mentioned in the most ancient Hindu scriptures, it's referenced in various texts and traditions:
*Scriptural References:*
1. *Tirumurai* (Tamil Shaivite scriptures, 6th-12th centuries CE): Adiyogi is mentioned as a name of Shiva.
2. *Shiva Purana* (10th-13th centuries CE): Describes Shiva as the "Adi Guru" (first guru) and "Yogi".
3. *Linga Purana* (5th-10th centuries CE): Refers to Shiva as "Adi Yogi".
4. *Bhagavata Purana* (9th-10th centuries CE): Mentions Shiva as "Yogeshvara" (lord of yoga).
5. *Agamas* (Shaivite scriptures, 6th-12th centuries CE): Adiyogi is referenced as a name of Shiva.
*Texts and Traditions:*
1. *Tiruvachakam* (Tamil devotional poetry, 9th century CE): Adiyogi is invoked as a divine name.
2. *Shiva Sutras* (aphorisms on Shiva, 10th-12th centuries CE): Describe Shiva as the ultimate yogi.

You are right 👍🏽👍🏽
It's the first time it made sense, bless Sadguru.❤❤❤

With respect to two educated Gurus.... Shiva is beyond the description of enlightened ones..... Till now no one could grasp even 0.000000.....1% of the Parabrahman Shiva...... Adi Anant Shiva.... No start and no End.... Manifests in numerous forms as per Kalpa and Brahmanda
I was a man full of light, I met a witch, which changed a life. I changed to show a different side, dark and on, shining bright.
I feel more than anyone else, this channel keeps perpetuating the idea of them being against each other. The last few times I’ve come across it, it’s been here. Instead of wording it like this, it could have easily been a way to bridge both the knowledge together, like some other commentators have done here, please reflect 🙏
They both are right in their own domain!... Each 'man is an island' that includes the waters that separate and unite them in the same time... 🙏
Today's youth should watch Acharya Prashant ji.
Half baked
No truth in it ..
Different contexts put together n creating rift
We should not spread such conflict .... Everyone has there own way of looking the same thing so instead of saying anyone wrong we should follow one path and experience it before passing any comments.... Shambho 🙏🙏🙏
An enlightened being does not proclaim their own enlightenment.
Whatever the difference of opinion of these Gurus, one important thing in favour of Sadguru was his tireless advocacy of Soil health, his practical way of rejuvenuation of Rivers, especially Cauvery Calling, and his gaint effort to spread the idea of soil wealth through many countries and its success. Also because of easy approach to many philosophical problems and debates without hurting anybody. He can be the Guru Of The Day and we all wish that his followers increase, and that He and his follower do not deviate on their first and relevant aims, and He and His followers could still Pull off a success in long run. We can but wish Him long life and he and his followers best wishes.
❤❤ Thats really so nice of you. Just wanted to add/ask or u can say share…. Do u know about SeedTheEarth , Jaltara , 70+ rivers actully rejuvenated on fields by The Art of Living since years, meri delhi meri yamuna , lakhs trained on Natural Farming etc… just asking if you know or not ?? Bcoz few things are not widely shared on social media…
Beautifully put❤Aadhyantharahitha is one name for Divine Mother. Same mother is called Adiparasakthi. Doesn't mean Amma has an end. Aadhimoolame is what Gajendra called Mahavishnu as. Doesn't mean Bhagavan has an end. Adi Sankara is what ACHARYAL is called. Not that je is limited to the body which had a beginning and end
Beautifully and accurately said Anna. Very mature and clear.
It’s true that Sadhguru is reaching more people every day, and perhaps that’s why we’re seeing more fake news and media attacks on Isha nowadays.
I am one of the many whose lives have been transformed by Isha.
Truth always prevails.
Our Sadhguruuuu is enlightened we have full faith on our Jaggi Vasudev Sadhguruji ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Namaskaram, Very fitting communication to the ways of ISHA ...and Sadhguru. Thank you so much for this video ! As you said, I equally respect Sri Sri Gurudev! for his work and contributions to the soceity. It is important that the middle men (supporting teams) have sense of the objective that the both great Gurus are aiming ! Thanks again.
Shiva is the ultimate. Though everyone's path is different. We should not fight among ourselves. Let's respect both the Gurus and move on the path of truth.
Hinduism happens differently to different persons...Krishna leelas ...no need to compare ""the admin of Mystics of India "
Surprising that Sri Sri ji waded into this.
Yes I completely agree with Sri Sri Ravishankar ji.
Great research and video 🙏
Vanakam 🦚🪷
Unity 🙏🏿
Please do not compare the gurus teachings. Each have their own way. I have done many courses with both of them. For this their followers they are like father figures and you never compare your father. Hindu gurus are facing enough criticism from outsiders already. Let's focus of spreading knowledge and wisdom
Ravishankar ji
Pranams to you Guruji.
For us both Ravishakarji and Sadguruji are our beloved Gurus who are our pride.
Kindly honour each other's views, as any public comments would hurt all our Hindus and the critics would take advantage
I have my own experience what mahashivratri can do .. and how powerful it is , it's just I don't wanna say those powerful experiences like this , also people keep assuming things . But in my experience mahashivratri is very very powerful and I'm clear on that .
No. You are wrong
@manikyum I don't need validation from you .
@@debobratapramanik1836 you need
Yes, the presence of the Indian actress dancing adds so much power to it.
@@myulal well you are so desperate to prove your action ... See that's the difference , you never even tried and commenting here about something which you are not experienced yet ; which amounts to lying . You can believe/disbelieve whatever it doesn't change the reality , first do it and see and then come here and prove me wrong .
nice... "instead of becoming educated, i choose enlightenment" tight answer to who puts knowledge in front end than experience
both guru are great in their wisdom
we are nobody to comment or capmare or to analyse their comments.
Really admiring the intention behind this video.
Thanks a lot. As you have mentioned, Guruji might not have intended against Sadh Guru, rather they cannot at their levels.
It is the media professionals who have to be more careful.
All Sanathana followers should be united
thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! it's also a way of peace work! thank you!
Gurudev Sri Sri’s explanation of Shiva seems to be in line with the ancient scriptures like Shiva Purana. When in confusion, always refer the puranas and the saints who are in alignment with the ancient texts. 🙏😊
SHIV & SHANKAR 🙏
Shiva is Adi Guru ,Madhya Guru and Anthya guru. As physical manifestation he has a begining and end. As pure consciousness he is eternal.
Everyone has right to express his her opinion about the Shiva so We can't say who's right or wrong, one can do sadhana following one of his guru and experience the shiv tatva itself.......
Agree, our spiritual leaders must desist contradictions.
A few vital points if you have brains and are a proud sanatani:
There is a reason why Shiva is depicted with a "lingam" and not an idol.
It's the Greatest aspect that, there is a space in SANATAN DHARMA , for each and every arguments...🎉🎉🎉
None can compete with sadguru when it comes to the truth, rationality, wisdom and oratory skills . How people like nashedi (AP) , RAVISHANKAR CAN be called spiritual leader when one can see jealousy in their content against sadguru.
Sadhguru is an enlightened being, while Sri Sri Is a religious scholar..One talks from inner experience while the other relies on books and scriptures.
Don't judge thinks that you have no idea about
That is the beauty of Sanatan/Hindu dharma.
Two great Gurus and disciples of Lord Shiva explaining Lord Shiva as per their own understanding and experiences🙏 Har Har Mahadev
Knowledge is multi dimensional .we understand your own state of mind.
Parnam 🙏To Both Gurus who show the righteous path on your own way
Regards 😇
Shree Premanand Ji Maharaj my one and only saviour in these dark times 🙏🏾
I feel Ravishankar Ji is right.
Intentions of making this video is pure heart ❤️...
according to me ,both sadguru and sri sri answers are correct in their own way
One is Enlightened 🌸
and other is Scholar 🌿
According to Srimad-bhagavatam, lord Shiva comes from lord Brahma and lord Brahma comes from Vishnu. Shiva doesn't act on his own. Only Hare is the supreme enjoyer.
“Gurus respond based on the moment and the context of a question, which makes their guidance unique and deeply insightful. To truly honor their wisdom, it’s important that social media content reflects this, avoiding comparisons or content that might unintentionally create division. Let’s focus on sharing their teachings in ways that inspire unity and understanding.”
Sadguru has witty answer to almost any question that comes along his way....
Salute to both the enlightened beings.....most of us are not capable to judge their Leela....Joy Guru, we love them both...... different perspectives are fine in Sanatan.....it is not necessary we agree.....Agreement and Commandments are not our path.....we are argumentative Bharatiyas
Both said shiva is the cosmic energy
Sri Sri has also said in other places it’s good to meditate on shiv rathri and aol has a similar event on shiv rathri. What Sri Sri was saying it’s not harmful to sleep that night . It’s definitely great to meditate that night as most have experienced
Leave the words and abide in the silence of shiva within.
Very true ..very aptly brought out . When others are brandishing sword at you as a civilisationand culture , you don't show your argumentative skills.
