I can wear the Vaporfly 1 and 2 but couldn't wear the AF1 and AF2 due to the high arch protruding. Now, I couldn't wear the Vaporfly 3 due to the arch issue but finally could wear the AF3. So you are spot on. Another thing you pointed out I totally agree is no point keeping super.shoes only for race day...because they will break apart after being kept for too long unused. So better used them. Tq for the review.
As a Kenyan Runner with Narrow feet. I can confirm it's a pretty good fit! But my Gosh you do need a lot of stability/Mobility conditioning if you don't want to end up with a soleus injury. Great tempo interval running shoe for anyone wanting to get faster and run at that new pace!±
@@trailandkale I have the Vaporfly 3 and the alpha fly 3 the only issue I have is the alpha fly 3 are so good I love wearing them I haven’t really put any miles in with the Vaporfly 3 yet
Love the shoe. I have narrow feet and feel the arch of my foot is well supported. I also feel more stable on the heel than on the On Cloudboom. Compared to the Alpha Fly - I feel the Alpha are too cushioned in the front (maybe better for longer runs?). Regarding the tongue, the fact that it is asymmetrical on the top avoids frictions. The only issue I have is that it feels a bit loose at the bottom (again probably because I have slim feet)
Thanks for sharing! Yes I believe the extra cushion in the alphafly is more suitable to those who prefer longer strides, rather than higher cadence. At least that’s my experience testing them both.
For somebody who’s looking to start running outdoors, what shoe would you recommend and on the VF3, what size would you go with? True to size or a size up or down? Thanks
The VF3 is true to size but as mentioned in the video has a narrow fit, so sizing up will result in a shoe that's too long. If you're just getting started with running, you're probably after a daily trainer. No, you’ll have a miserable time running in these. I recommend a super shoe with a wider footprint like the cielo x1 (widest and most stable option), AF3, or ASICS Metaspeed Sky Paris,
My favorite right now is the Hoka Cielo X1 - it’s an incredible super shoe with great stability. It’s damn fast too but not as light as these… but it’s not all about being the lightest. Here’s my full review: www.trailandkale.com/gear/hoka-cielo-x1-review/

@Madman-100 haha yeh it’s definitely the top choice out of the two.
Great review. Big fan of these shoes.

@@trailandkale i have no issues with stability. i do not have wide feet.

@Rick__Torres__15 any time!
Does it work for pronators??

Hello what’s a good shoe for me? I'm flat-footed and love to go on a long-distance run but also light.
Are you looking for a super shoe like this one?
Yes I am. Thank you so much for the help I really appreciate it.
