    Nice, I made mine out of a lynx tin that I got for Christmas and got my daughter to draw carp on each side and punched through with a small nail so it lights up a carpy scene in the bivvy, genius

      You have the winter carp bug !!
      What's the difference Geoff,
      We both use bivvies, bite alarms and loads of teabags or coffee, and try to stay warm.
      I don't catch many, but I'm out of the house and by water, what better way to spend the weekend my friend.
      Take care stay safe and keep it lit 👍.

    Just like to ask as i am deffo, going to make one is there a risk of carbon monoxide gases in side the bivvy, i did buy a monoxide alarm for when i was hoping to go through the winter but it never happened with all the rain we have had my trip to fenland drains was washed out. So yeah thats all i wish to know.

    • @alfie_b
      @alfie_b  9 місяців тому

      There is always a risk, especially if you close your bivvy. Please use sensibley and keep plenty of ventilation passing through. Thanks for the comment 👍

    The more candles you burn in an enclosed space like a bivvy the more carbon monoxide you create.
