- Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan has defended pianist Brendan Kavanagh after the musician was confronted by a Chinese mob who demanded he stop playing a public piano in a train station.
“You’re just minding your own business, you’re playing beautiful piano,” Mr Morgan said.
“Then this group of Chinese people in the background with their flags come over, and sort of believe they have the right to stop you filming and doing what you’re doing.
“The policewoman who came over to you, I didn’t like what she was doing either, which was almost acquiescing to this.
“They should all just calm down, recognise we live - last time I checked - in a free, democratic country, and you are allowed to play the piano where you’ve played it many times.”
The Policewomen was en embarrassment to our Country .

I've been to China and other countries with very different cultures to ours and if I'd behaved like that Chinese guy I would have quickly been dragged away by the local police and then god knows what would have happened to me. It's one thing to ask politely, but nobody is bound by the law to comply with such requests, especially when he's not like stalking them to film their every action.
That police officer needs to realize it's not her job to coddle an upset person, it's her job to enforce the law.
Just because someone is upset doesn't mean they're the victim of a genuine offense. Some people are pushy brats that just get upset when they don't get their way.
That police officer needs retraining. I also believe the piano being locked down is a punitive action by the police against the pianist because his video makes them look incompetent.
Put bluntly, that police officer looked to be WAY past retirement age. I know a certain segment of the population think social workers could effectively replace the police, but at least they at least TRY to be convincing.

On Chinese social media they have now deleted all comments supporting Brendan and left all the ones against him. They've also deleted the video pretty much everywhere since if they watch that they'd see the truth for themselves very clearly. Even just yesterday they were countless comments on Chinese social media taking the mickey out of these two with the psychopathic shouting, the terrible English and the overall craziness of it all.
