- I wrote this song after my accidental audition for American Idol. Crazy times. This song is about my imposter syndrome and not really thinking I deserve "the moment". Fast forward a couple months I just ended my American Idol journey finishing Top 10. Life is freakin random & I don't understand it, but thanks for listening. This is all I've ever wanted to do :)

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve listened to this song. Many, many times.

Man, I just stumbled on you and when I heard this song for the first time, I was tearing up. As soon as you started with "I think I'm chemically imbalanced", you caught my attention IMMEDIATELY; because I AM chemically imbalanced (been diagnosed 3x with ADHD in the past). Whether you feel it or not, you're not alone in how you feel. As hard as it is for me to believe it for myself, I believe it for you - that you are enough.

I’ve always found music to be my escape, somewhere I didn’t have to listen to the voices inside my head or combat the horrid emotions I was feeling because I could never describe it in words how I felt but once I discovered you and watched your audition on idol, you managed to write two songs that truly describe what seems to be an every day feeling for me, this song being one of them. Thank you Kayko for existing, being a lyrical genius and an overall beautiful soul, you are phenomenal. You’ve helped me more than you’ll ever know ❤️ so again, thank you.

This song makes me sob. It describes how I feel most of the time. NOT ENOUGH. Unfortunately, I did grow up in an abusive household. (abuse of EVERY kind) The mental abuse was waaaaaay worse than the physical and sx abuse. Those words that were said have stuck with me my whole life. I suffer from Major Depressive Disorder, Social Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety and Complex PTSD and have been in therapy most of my life since I was 4yrs old. Music has always been what's saved me. Thank you. ❤

ok i know this totally sounds, well, like a poser, to say on your own video probably but this is genuinely my favorite song ever since i heard it on idol. I personally dont have the greatest home life and songs like this have really helped me at times, i can relate to your songwriting and some other peoples songwriting so much it has stopped me from killing myself at times, and i cannot thank you enough for that!
