- Hello! welcome to my first animatic video! I really love this song and It's been in my head for weeks! I'm actually quite embarrassed about the outcome because I still can't deliver the animatic the way I wanted, but I know that I need to start somewhere and learn from my mistakes :D
About this animatic and the choice of song, I know that the real song meant to be evan telling the story of Connor's POV about how much he loves his sister. But please imagine in this animatic it's about Hanako-kun wanted to tell Yashiro how much he loves her.

*SPOILERS FROM ANIME AND MANGA PROBABLY?*
I don't know but the only two options I see are:
a) Yashiro dies somewhere in school. She becames a ghost. She can be happy with Hanako - but what I think is more likely to happen is:
b) Yashiro changes her future, because Im sure that this whole thing with changing the future was a big foreshadowing, and can live till she's old. It somehow makes Hanako disappear however, idk, just, peacefully disappear? Im really also convinced that things that are happening in this arc right now (one with death and stuff, forgot the name) will be very important in the end. Like, VERY important. I wouldn't say that it would be a bad end however. It would be bitter sweet, sure but not bad, since well, main character is alive! Probably traumatised and sad but alive!

The ending of the entire manga will be like frikkin Titanic (Hanako goes away, his sins atoned and Yashiro lives long and happy life, learning how to say goodbye to her first true love) and I'm ready to cry my eyes out completely.
I hope the manga won’t end like you said it because if it does I would go cry in my room for hours 🥺
Sadly, I can agree. I see this as the most probable ending to the show. However, they are still bound by the curse and Nene, as shown when she refuses the mermaids life blood to cut ties with Hanako, wants to stay bound to him. She has no intention of cutting ties nor does Hanako. He may dissapear because he atoned for his sins and let go of his regret, but I think Hanako will wait for Yashiro on the other side.
This makes me think though, like the manga says, what if she actually dies within the year? Like I doubt she's going to live much longer because of the chapter with the time apparitions, what if hanako attones for his sins and Yashiro just passes on as she most likely has no regrets?
@@choco-mint5749 Maybe they'll stay together anyway because of the bond they have, because like Hanako said, they're bond through time and even death shouldn't affect it (I don't remember the quote rn but it was said in first episode).
@@realswobby Yeah that's what I was thinking but god damn I hope that doesn't happen though like I'll cry no matter the ending but jesus.
If anything I would want Yashiro to do something she regreted and become an apparition if she were to die, although that's unrealistic for the story I reckon. I still think she will die for definite as she has no future to live longer in her 4'o'clock library book and she never grew older in the time chapter soo.. I guess it's easier to die than to cheat death anyway.

The fact that in the lyrics is "we're a million worlds apart" is kinda sad. Amane was born around 1955 (i think) while yashiro is born on the 21st century. They are many years apart. But maybe they will meet in the far shore when yashiro dies 😢😭☺️

Oml this is so beautiful and underrated. its like the ending op of the actual anime, you captured the same emotion for it too. Anyways for those who dont understand, I will tell you one of the most accurate theories. (spoilers ahead)
Basically while Hanako and Yashiro share a bond, hanako changed a lot because Yashiro managed to go in. (Meaning Hanako let yashiro in so he cares abt her) As time passed and Hanako knew yashiro was going to die, he asks Tsukasa, who grants wishes for the dead, to expand yashiro's lifespan. And as we all know when he grants that, Tsukasa must take something away, so he took Hanako and made him disappear as an apparition. (Just a theory) Just as yashiro was rlly near to the far shore, she saw hanako getting taken away/disappearing so she tries to help him by getting in the far shore. She managed but then hanako said his last goodbye and released yashiro back to the near shore for her to live another 90 years as hanako disappears. This is just a theory but its rlly possible. Anyways this is so underrated ty for making this animation.

The animation at the ending of every episode in the anime may forshadow the ending to the series. Hanako may sacrifice himself to save Yashiro. I'm thinking the way he may do that is by making a wish to his brother. I know that seems kind of weird, but as we have seen in the mitsuba arc, Tsukasa is super powerful. He is powerful enough to kill a Wonder within thier own boundary. In order for Hanako to fulfill Nene's wish of staying alive, he may be willing to sacrifice himself to save her. Or, which would be a much more bitter sweet ending, I think that that this journey they have will finally allow Hanako to pass on to the next life while leaving Yashiro behind. But, they are still connected by the curse, so he would wait for her on the other side while she lived out her life. Both endings make me sad tho.
