That is a bike that you are actually in instead of on when you are riding it, especially with forward control. I sure miss my '90 Virago 1100 with forward control. Very best bike I've ever owned. Thanks for sharing your beauty. 😎

im leerlauf klingt das teil wie ne nucklehead,panhead..shovelh...eben fast der potato sound..aber nur fast..trotzdem cool...🤗aber muss klausilein recht geben,wenn er aufdreht,so beim 2ten hinhören..hmm
Did you rejet? It would like the additional fuel and run stronger. Also, take all of that emissions crap off including the valve under the left sidecover and those tubes around the jugs. You can block the cylinder ports off with a SS Bolt, polish the head on a buffer and JB Weld it in - it will look good and do the trick. I think it is a 1/2" opening on those jugg ports if I remember right. Just coat the bolt and push in, not too much epoxy though.
Yes I bought the cobra jet kit too, and I did block off the air tube that ran back to the exhaust, eventually I took a hole saw and drilled out the baffles to make it slightly louder , sounded even better
I couldn’t find a solo seat for a virago so I made that from an old Honda interceptor seat pan, heated with a torch to bend it in the shape then cut the foam down and made mounts on the bottom, I got lucky I don’t think I could replicate it again haha
@@klaushansen1658 tja,dann sind wir ja schon zwei..😊...aber meine blubbert nur leise vor sich hin,nix von sound,und geballer wie die 1100 aufm video..vermutlich ist der topf eh leergeräumt,ohne absorber...bei mir sind die original tüten drauf,die mit den dünnen endschalldämpfer..die falcon,silvertail,cobra etc jetzt montieren ist mir einfach zu teuer..

I couldn’t find one to purchase so I had to make it my self, it’s much more comfortable then the original seat

@@coleross1989 Yeah that 1100 sounds nice with those baffles out, good choice. Cheaper than a new exhaust also.
