Thank You for this video. I installed the original 3D printed magnetic mount set and it works perfectly, pops right on and off. I found that if you mount it evenly front and rear, sideways it slips on even easier. 😎👍🏻
Thank you! Redcat has instructions posted on the product page for the body mounts, but it’s somewhat hidden. I’m adding a link to the video description.
Just received mine.. had trouble with the front placing and found your Post VERY HELPFUL, also when installed ir works Super Easy to (for me) place back end down first..Thanks KS Again Brotha
So helpful!!! Really wanted to do this build and had no idea how to do it. Learned so much. Thanks for doing this. If you have anymore install videos please post them. Thanks again!😊
Redcat sells a set of three magnets for $16.99 (www.redcatracing.com/products/rer14767-1?variant=41332857536602?ref=rcnewb), or you can pick up a pack of 12 on Amazon for $9.99 (amzn.to/3BNPBmF).
I’m stuck at putting the magnetic mounts on the body does the longer one go on the front or bumper?? it looks to me like the shorter one has to use the existing screws that are already in the body. Am I right or wrong?
The longer bracket goes on the rear and the shorter one goes on the front. You can use the mounting screws from the stock brackets to mount the new brackets. I hope that helps!
I swear I can’t figure out what the heck I’m doing wrong. I bought this conversion kit and the back bumper bracket doesn’t seem like it fits. Or the screws don’t seem long enough to fit into the holes!! I’ve been following your video to a T but I can’t figure out how come the ones I got won’t fit onto the body. It seems like when I look at your video, yours fits onto the holes. Making it easier to put in the screws
Try taking the small round black spacers off the old back bumper mounts, that might help. I used the news in the package for the back bumper but I had to use my old screws for the front bumper hookup.
I believe the body mounts for the FiftyNine are a bit different than what's used on the SixtyFour. I'd suggest checking with Redcat to find out for sure.
I used the screws that came from the body. One body had course thread screws while the other had fine, but no matter which I used, they worked with the magnetic mounts.

Thank you & I appreciate the tip!
You're Welcome!@@rcnewb
Great video! Especially since the product didn’t come with directions. Nice step by step directions and camera views

Are you actually using the screws that came with the conversion package? Aarrgghh!!!
