These categories of grills are our best selling grills. And its because you get a beautiful mix of super good quality premium grills, and also the sweet spot as far as price point goes. These grills are between $2,000-$3,000 price range. So here is a quick summary of the grills.
#5- Weber summit series
This grill gets in on brand name alone in my opinion. Its a super good quality construction grill. Has a 10 year warranty and cooks very evenly like all webers. My beef with this grill is the cheap lights, lack of cooking space and the chunky rotisserie motor. Weber dominates the lower priced category of grills, and the summit is by no means their strong point.
#4- Blaze LTE Series
Blaze has really come on strong the last few years, and it is by far one of our best selling grills! Due to its awesome quality, heavy duty construction, and lifetime warranty with high BTU burners. This grill is for sure a fan favorite.
#3- Coyote S Series
The coyote tested out so well in our last review, and the upgraded S-Sereis is no different! This grill probably boasts the best burners out the 5 grills, with the infinity style with high BTU this grill is tough to beat. Comes with rotisserie kit and a sear burner inside the grill as well.
#2- The Bull Series is also an awesome grill. Honestly there is a lot of overlap between the coyote, blaze and the Bull. The bull has a little bit more attention to detail in the burners that promote even cooking, and is also a physically heavy grill as well. So that is why it made #2. If you want to find out about the elite series check out our bull review!
#1- Napoleon Prestige PRO 665
Napoleon always seems to make its way to the number 1 category. Its so tough to beat. Infra red side burner, rotisserie, inside and outside lighting, motion sensors. Cutting board, ice bucket, smoker tray, do I need to keep going… Also full lifetime warranty bumper to bumper and also made in Canada! Napoleon is the clear cut #1. However you won’t see Napoleon in our luxury review. As this is about as top end as it gets for them!

I have a Bull grill, and also live in a relatively "saltwater environment" near the Atlantic Ocean... one thing I will say is that the threaded inserts they used inside the grill for ease of assembly/construction are not rustproof stainless steel. I replaced my gas valves this year and those inserts were so rusty... no way they were coming apart. Rusted SOLID. Stripped many of the screws trying to get it apart. And they do bleed rust down from the screw heads. Love the grill, don't get me wrong, just that if you are like me and live near the ocean... there are points of concern. Maybe my grill is older and they have changed to a different style of insert... Also, when it rains, a LOT of water gets inside the large opening at back of the lid when It's closed. I have to empty an overflowing catch tray after it rains.
Oh man
I live in South Carolina and watch a ton of his grill videos. If am ever in CO I would def stop in and see this guy he is def legit.
thanks so much!
I set my notifications for your videos, love these reviews. Trying to figure out what grill to get for my new build that's due to be completed in June. So much good info. Thanks!
Awesome! Thank you!
I just order my Bull Brahma from u guys, it’s being shipped to Florida! I spent hours on your videos and thanks to you, I was able to make a decision.
Awesome! Thank you!
0331badboy, in case you see this - have you been pleased with your Bull Brahma? Any positive and/or negative feedback is appreciated.
I own that Napoleon prestige pro and love it. So many great features. Cooks great too
Yes it does!
You can't convert the propane to natrual gas on the Prestige Pro which is pathetic. I was going to buy it otherwise. Glad you enjoy it. How is cleaning it, flare ups, grilling in the wind?
@@shanew7361 that true ? Damn i need a propane grill now but the new house is gonna be NG. I just looked at the Neapolitan. It was a pretty tough grill. Guess I’m getting the artisan
@@richardtwardy Yep, why I didn't buy it. Perhaps a plumber could rig something up though. Not sure how legal or if insurance would cover you if shit happened though lol
Personally hate the rotisserie, wish every manufacturer would allow you to opt out of getting it. Any full infrared grills? I like my old TEC grill looking to replace it but I like the speed of heating up and cooking with infrared and how even they cook.
thanks for the feedback
I bought the bull Lonestar. When comparing to the Blaze LTE the Bull Lonestar, the bulls cart was much better build and the grates are deeper than the Blaze.
Nice!
Such a great video. Super informative and lots of fun. Loved the banter and information. Thanks for making the the video and sharing your expertise 🙏
glad to help!
Outstanding review!!! Thank you for this!!
Yes no problem!! This actually an old video of this we have made two ne wupdated versions! If you are curious watch the newest one here - Embers BEST Selling Grills!! - ua-cam.com/video/tmZJO9tDUh0/v-deo.html
We are not splitting hairs, we are doing are due diligence.
Thanks for watching!
Who wants gas grill? The thought of filling 5gal lpg is deal killer. There’s of course hardline connection to utility CNG or LPG, if you have hardline plumbed to your patio/grilling area. Many of us lack utility CNG and we personally discarded our 500gal LPG tanks in favor of solar and electric appliances, heating etc. When it came down to outdoor kitchen, we followed a neighbours recommendation, a Twin Eagles pellet grill. Lights automatically, feeds hopper automatically, maintains programmed temp like an oven and it connects to our wi-if alerting me when temp probes reach selected temps. So much cleaner than gas grill and the bbq results are spectacular, even for someone like me that lacks ANY cooking skills 😂
thanks for the feedback
Is this a serious comment? You can't fill a gas tank and change it every couple of months? Lol
Note: Napoleon steel is also Chinese steel, despite assembly in Canada.
Also, the LED lights on all these grills require a cord. So careful not to trip.
I agree, my Napoleon is the best grill ive ever had, and for the price and 15 year bumper to bumper warranty; cant beat it!
Also, Napoleon just rolled out a new grill called the Phantom. Im so pissed I bought one a year ago. I might have to buy two! lol. so badass
Phantom video coming today!
Blaze LTE seems better than Prestige Pro
Another excellent video! Thanks for the comparison. I'm coming out of a 10 yrs old Saber Premium 30" grill and just bought the Coyote S 42" on a cart a couple of weeks ago because I got a deal too good to pass on it, but your review and comparing it to Blaze and Bull were definitely deciding factors. Thanks
Right on!
how do you like your grill?
The reason I'm here looking at this grill comparo is because I bought a 5 burner Blaze six years ago..... Solid materials for sure, but the burner flame is the most uneven flame I have ever had on a gas grill, quite frankly it's hard to believe how different the heat output can be within the single length of a burner. I will also add that I am a fanatic in keeping my burners and sear diverters clean, and yes I did the review and purchase at BBQ Guys.
hmm maybe cause its an older model?
Detailed review- nice. Thanks!
Thanks for watching.
Just wondering if you have done a video on the same grill natural gas vs propane? I would think natural gas would be cooler than propane? Looking to replace my Weber genesis 610 with a prestige pro - can’t decide on the gas type though 🇬🇧
We actually havent done a video on that.
Thanks for the review Trevor, very well done! Is the top 5 Luxury grills comparison video available? Can’t wait to see it!!
Next week!
@@embersliving great!!!! Please please keep the Blaze Pro in there 😁😁
In terms of BUILT IN grills, would they rank the same? I was absolutely sold on Napoleon, but am strongly considering Coyote. What are your thoughts?
I like Napoleon the best for carts, but not the same for built in, you do not get quite as much value
I had a prestige pro, it was great but gas grills bore me.. sold it went back to charcoal and got a weber summit charcoal, gas is great for cooking for a crowd or when your in a hurry but other than that its just missing that great flavor the charcoal offers
Make sure to subscribe we have new charcoal videos coming
As a Canadian who’s owned the Weber summit s470 and a Napoleon pro 500 srib you’ve just earned my total respect. Both were outstanding grills. I have nothing to complain about either. I was just shocked you listed a Canadian grill as the top in its category. That tells me you’re talking only the truth. That side infrared ceramic searing station is by far a game changer for gas grills. It does not disappoint. I was sceptical at first but once I mastered it it was game over. Such a useful addition to a grill. Now that being said my Napoleon was just destroyed by a crazy wind storm in May in Quebec Canada. I’m now shopping for a kamado joe classic 2 because after always having a gas grill I’m looking for more grilling options such as smoking, slow cooking etc. To all Americans please please don’t hesitate to look at and consider a napoleon grill. You won’t lose your man badge going with a Canadian grill 😊. Napoleon’s warranty is one of if not the best out there. Love your channel keep it up eh!
thanks for watching!
Just purchased a napoleon prestige 500 Srib and it’s a beast of a grill and for 1500 probably pound for pound the best value. Amazing grill ❤️❤️❤️
Love these videos. Thanks for the effort.
Glad you like them!
Yea me too! Love the channel
Your videos are very helpful. Trying to get a fair review of Broilmaster BSG343N, specifically compared to the Blaze 32" LTE could you assist ?
We're cooling down on the bbq videos prepping for burns season
How does Summerset compare with these 5?
Summer set is a solid brand for bbq's and outdoor kitchen inserts. Check out this video : ua-cam.com/video/Clh0gqeYtrM/v-deo.html Also, check out our website where you can view all their outdoor kitchen equipment. blazingembers.com/search-results-page?q=summerset
Love the video! Was looking for grills that were comparable to the Blaze grill. Is there an in depth review for the Napoleon grill? Would love one of your videos for that grill too.
LINK ERROR: One of the links in the description is wrong. The link to the Coyote grill goes to the Blaze grill in depth review.
Thanks for letting us know! We do have several in depth Napoleon reviews. You may have to go to our channel to search for it
WRT: Blaze / FYI. Completing the story...Blaze Grills was founded by the BBQ Guys, and is now owned by Brand Velocity Partners. The company is based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and while the grills themselves are made in China. Brand Velocity Partners operates as a private equity firm.
Yes that is correct
What I'm researching is to upgrade my Weber Summit 400 series .. I must have an infrared burner for real searing. Also if I can't get parts or the parts are insanely expensive the grill is completely useless! Lastly, I want the grill to be evenly heated everywhere .. someone telling me it is doesn't mean a thing I want to see some temperature measurements. Cold spots on a grill will drive you nuts about as much as poor searing.
I'm kind of liking that Coyote. Frankly I kind of like the idea of all the burners being infrared you can lower the temperature in 10 seconds leaving the top open. You made some comment about infrared making your whole grill hot .. okay well 10 seconds solution. As long as I can make a burner cooler it works because the others I can't make any hotter which fails. The thought of using a side infrared burner while I'm trying to cook at minimum four or five steaks it would be a cooking circus. Instead let me get my grill up to 700° for a short period of time and then down to 500°-550° and I'm in heaven.
thanks for the feedback
yes that is very true
Did anyone else notice that the word quality is spelled QUILITY at the beginning ? Just sort of funny.😂
what about American Made and Heston?
We have an updated top 5 Luxury grills with those included. Check our page
Your comparing the LTE with higher versions from Bull and Coyote you can trick out the LTE with more options for less money better value in my view and stronger warranty
nice!
Nice review, love the 4k!
Thanks! 👍
Do these things come with the launch codes???
Haha night as well huh? Thanks for watching.
Thank you !
Glad you liked it! Be sure to check out our newest version of this video : ua-cam.com/video/FtZ4I81fNdw/v-deo.html
I'm new in the market for a good gas grill. How are all these grills battle grease collection. My old grill I have leaks grease at all bottom seams.
they all do a great job with that
Other than smoke tray and extra heating area, any benefit to the Pro 665 vs 500?
just size really
Great video! The Napoleon Prestige Pro looks amazing. Question - does this grill need to be plugged into a power outlet in order to ignite any of the main burners and the infrared burner, or can you use it without it being plugged into a power outlet?
Good question! You do not need to be plugged in to ignite the main and side burner. Plugging in only gets you the lights on your knobs and the lights in the hood.
I am going to build an outdoor kitchen and was looking at the blaze grill. But my dealer is trying to convince me that I would be happier with a griddle. What are your thoughts?
hmm that is tough I am redoing mine now, and I am doing both, but if you can only do one that would be tough
Great video. Y'all need to open up a store in Nashville!
Oh man we would love to!
Most important features of a grill:
1. Heat control (low to very very high 450 C +)
2. Even and controllable cooking area
3. Practical cleaning options and maintenance.
None of these grills comply. Probably the best options are Lynx all trident, TEC and similar.
Make sure to subscribe. Next week I is the luxury category featuring some of these
When is your grill at 450+ C
Great review and love the channel! How does the napoleon prestige pro compare to the Blaze LTE premium with regards to flare ups and even cooking? Does the napoleon have a stainless steel hood inner liner or is it porcelain enameled/painted? And also the heat/wind deflector on the napoleon, is it stainless or painted?
Does the Blaze have a lot lower height to the hood and Rotisserie spit rod? And do you know how much if it does? If so does it make a big difference if one were to cook a turkey on it or even just trying to put drip pan potatoes underneath? Or in general cooking does it not do as good not having as much air space around the food to create a more oven like environment?
Does the napoleon's cast aluminum tub hold up better than the Blaze's in the long term in your opinion? The napoleon knobs feel like there is quite a bit of slack in them compared to the Broil kings knobs; how do the Blaze ones feel in this regard?
Not sure which one to go with. I really like the fact that you can order the Blaze in a marine version and get all 316L stainless steel. Thanks.
I would say if your in salt water area order the 316 marine grade for sure
@@embersliving
Is the inner hood and wind/heat deflector behind the rotisserie burner painted on the napoleon?
Awesome bbq guys own blaze
Can you please do a side burner and power burner brands vs comparison bull vs blaze etc just like you do with grills, i’m building an outdoor kitchen and i need a little help, by the way I bought the bull brahman elite grill from your store. Very nice grill thanks for video inf
yes its on our list
We're curious, where does the Artisan Professional cart grills fit into this grouping, if at all?
right in line with it, you pay a bit more because its made in America, and has spring assisted Hood, but a rock solid grill
How are the lights powered? By battery or electric?
depends on the model
Curious as to why the Heston Aspire line didn't make the cut for this side by side comparison?
the American made budget models we kind of do them as their own video, cause they are a touch nicer then premium, but not as good as their big brothers in luxury
🇬🇧 Great vid shame our gas grills are so much more bloody expensive over this side of the pond 🇬🇧
never knew that.
@@embersliving
I’m looking at getting the 665 but for $1600 less I can get the new broil king 590 pro is the napoleon $1600 better ?
For the Bull grill. does the Diablo 42" built in also come with a Infrared Sear Burner?
thats just for the ELITE model
@@embersliving do you know if the optional sear burner that Bull sells will work with the Diablo?
I read somewhere (probably BBQ Guys-Ha!) that the Coyote comes preassembled in some way? Is that true? This would be a benefit for me as these grills are often a pain to assemble.
This was an excellent video. Well done, and answered many of my questions--except ease of assembly of course.--Thank You. To me, it's between the Napoleon and the Coyote.
Yes that is true. The napoleon 665 also comes assembled
I'm torn between the Blaze lte 40" propane or the lion L9000 40" leaning towards lion, includes rotisserie and hear its the best bang for the buck. Sad it didn't make your top 5. Any thoughts on the lion?
I haven't gotten my hands on a lion, but I know blaze has exceptional service
Lighted knobs and a cheezy night light are kind of useless.. when your spending that much get something with great materials and solid frame
well they usually go hand in hand
4 through 2 are for the yuppies that own air fryers and $400 blenders... 1 and 5 are for those who can really grill in style.
ok
I love my Solaire 30" the OG 😎
thanks for the feedback
i’m trying to decide between propane and natural gas
natural gas is way more affordable to operate but a bit more of a pain to get installed initially
@@embersliving thanks i have the connection at the pool so it’s available then that’s the way i’ll go
What do you know about Saber grills
We don't know much unfortunately! Sorry about that! Thanks for watching!
Do a top 5 video on your shoe game haha
haha thetas good idea
Funny with that spider web. I get these little spiders that make thier home in my burner tubes. Whenever I have a burner issue I know what to do, take it out and give it a whack then out comes the spider. You know how long it took my to figure that out the first time, never thought a spider would love to live in a burner tube, but I guess its semi normal and people suggest the smell of the propane may have something to do with it..
ok
Is that the same videographer as the wing comparison video from BWW?
haha
love the videos but gotta say seems like a Napoleon fan boy lol.
for sure
How much would a spider web cost to take out of his check,
When you went from number 3 to number 2 and asked what we see, I thought he was going to say a spider, but no it was just stainless steel,
I think you don’t put the grill back together so he can find more webs,
I believe you that you would find any small detail, you found that spider web,
If my friend would be like yeah that’s what he’s talking about the lights, I would say well I’m talking about that there’s no webs,
You’re not mad at any of them, well it seemed you were pretty upset about that web,
It depends what I like, well I’ll tell you what I don’t like, spiders,
I won’t change what I would buy cause you said, I would change what I would buy cause it has spiders,
Well hopefully the other grills don’t have something else like scorpion or centipede
I don’t see how those three are almost similar, I didn’t even see that web,
Doesn’t a web mean it’s been there a while cause they’re not buying it
thanks for watching!
The cooking grates on the Napoleon pro 665 are 9.5 mil not 9mil👍
ok
all of these are nice grills but they should be for the price your paying. its hard to pick between them tbh i think its more about what name of company you want to support. i think the coyote is the nicest but its tough to say.
hard to argue
Very informative. Thank you for posting.
I can make a fire colorful like a rainbow. Are you interested?
no
Removed a section in my camper where the entertainment area is and installed. Works great. Instead of propane furnace heat, I can use this ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxATHBlMJwipGgVWseuAFKvDQ_5R4_lywo to heat the camper as long as it's hooked up to shore power. Only thing I do not like is there does not seem to be a thermostat. I'm presuming it has a built-in one so it does not overheat. Really like all the other color options it has to offer.
Frankly I just tried to purchase a premium grill from you guys. No decent 30” to 36” were available for immediate purchase. Also it was kind of difficult to communicate with your sales person. Initially, I left a voice message with your number and I received a text response. From that point on. I only received text responses going back and forth. Very lazy, not the best way to do business, especially, in your industry. Great grill reviews.
Thanks
Hey K A that is unfortunate to hear. Did you speak to an online salesman? Maybe calling the store would work better? Thanks for watching.
Delta Heat didn't make your top 5 premium grills?
The American made budget models kind of get lost in translation being that they are still very expensive, we have another video that focus on the American made grills
@@embersliving, if it's the vid I 'm thinking about you didn't include Delta Heat in your review and recommended Napoleon (your love affair with Napoleon has been well documented lol). 😃
🇬🇧the 665 your number 1 is as I write this $5035.00 here in the Uk at todays exchange rate
Interesting. thanks for watching!
Good reviews Brother. Less small talk would be awesome. I dont have time to get through your reviews because you want to yak so much.
oh shoot
Too bad this list doesn’t include Saber
good to know
Yes, I wish that too. I have a Saber and really like it.
You talk about Blaze people being sold out, then you push Napoleon as number 1. Seems to me grills 2-4 are superior
it depends, we will have a new video this spring on this
@@embersliving Ok, I'll keep an eye out for it.
China? got anything USA?
American Made Grills and Weber
Lynx is premium, these ones are at best midrange.
You can word them how you will. We are calling lynx luxury which will be coming
@@embersliving i see, good point, we all have a different definition.
QUILITY?? 🤣😂
Yep... quality*
Yanks can talk under water 😀
ok
You cant spell QUALITY.. SAD
so sorry
