I remember watching this video back in 2014 when I was 24 and had gotten depressed. Here I am 8 years later in my early 30s and I agree with lada with everything she says in this video. Things improve tremendously for first house saturn people after 30.

For anyone who is younger I would suggest have faith in yourself and the universe to let it unfold the rewards you've worked on so hard all these years, it will take time but it surely will come, also you will come to enjoy life more later in life.
As someone with Saturn in the first house, my comment is that the person I've loved most in my adult life died when I turned 35 - it took me 10 years to get over the shock of the suddenness of it. A generalization is never a good thing to assume or to say.

Yes... parental figure always judging and undermining me in order to push me to become too ideal, adversely affected my personality and made me a weird teenager and an introvert...it was only when I started taking things in my own hands...started to improve my personality, looks and confidence...things started falling into place ...but yes...it got very delayed...I felt major part of my life has been ruined...sense of compensation will always be there...it seems like u are forever in school, always trying to pass some sort of exam...career got delayed..love got delayed.... everything delayed! But hoping for the best...It taught me to persevere...m very emotional...so imagine how hard it has been for me to go through all these trials..
I relate to this a lot, I missed many opportunities with women, I had a lot of money in the past, lost all of it, got disfigured from Botox injections, got a lot of injuries from working out, my parents and siblings expect a lot from me, even though I'm the youngest and met a lot of fake friends. Overall these adversities only make me a stronger person and to never give up!
I am in that position in my life atm. Strict parents create introverted children. But I'm doing everything I can to break out out it. Helps that I'm a rebel😂
My mom was never strict. Im the black sheep ive never had any support from my whole family. But yes nothing but struggles. Kinda unfair

I struggled with anorexia during my teenage years, but things have changed tremendously since I turned 30 because I took matters into my own hands
I have this placement. I do feel like I get the things I want a little late but I ALWAYS get them. I'm also petite and slim and people always think that I am 10 years younger than my age. I have many little injuries and scars on my body since young up to now.

I have Saturn in the 1st House in Libra. Extremely difficult childhood, bullying, depression, very insecure about my appearance. So grateful for all of that because I bloomed late into what people have remarked as an otherworldly gorgeous beautiful woman. It took a very long time and hard work to believe this was true and not a compliment meant to mock me ( strange but I couldn't believe it having been told I was ugly as a child). I am very disciplined about diet and exercise and grooming, and I worked extremely hard in school and work and still waiting to be a mom or have a deep passionate love. More to look forward to but it all gets better, I promise.
Seeing how a lot of other ppl turned out who had every advantage and no Saturn to guide them has shown me the gift of this placement. It hurts a lot so you can develop empathy for others and love and care for yourself. Do the work, no short cuts ❤️

Moon (25) and Rahu (27) of Taurus 7th house.
Saturn and Sun opposes my Moon.
Pluto Saturn and Sun are in my 12th according to Placidus and Campanus but both Sun and Saturn are conjunct both my Asc and Ketu. Whole Sign resonates more with me though. I FEEL it more than the placements according to Placidus which seem more 'surface' oriented.

I have 1st House Moon and Saturn in Taurus. Saturn is retrograde and opposite Jupiter and Venus in Scorpio. I have struggled a LOT with body image and acceptance throughout my life and I have specific challenges with appetite and eating. It’s very easy for me to not eat, either due to forgetfulness or distraction or lack of appetite. I enjoy my body in a sensuous way, like to dance, get massages, enjoy fine bed linens and dress fabrics on my skin...but I often feel self conscious because I don’t have the figure type ideal to present western culture. It’s hard reconciling wanting to treat myself well with the negative messages that I’m less deserving.
Oddly enough, there have been people in my life who made me feel good and “okay” about eating and self care. They usually had natal aspects to my 1st or 7th House. It’s like their energies “break” whatever tension exists in my own placements.

Retro Saturn in Libra conjunct my Asc: I was painfully shy as a teenager.. as I grew older, specially after the age of 30, I became much more confident, and in fact, quite comfortable with my body. Life has got much easier as I have become older, and I feel it will be getting better and better :-)

The closer It's to the ascendant, the bigger the influence. Saturn has a restricting influence. Will have smaller bodies slimmer bodies, or long and slim. Shortening somehow, it might be the weight or the highness. Brings delays. The development of their body can delay and come a bit later in life. The person becomes more confident in themselves around the right of 29-30.
Reticent, shy when they're younger. Sometimes ppl will try to compensate. They can be posting beautiful or interesting photos in media, to compensate how they truly feel about themselves. Or sometimes they feel like the most unlucky people and are always talking about the negative side of their life.

I've Aquarius Ascendant conjunct Saturn in Aquarius in the 1st house and everything you said is so very true! Well, I'm only 20 so I still haven't seen the success I want to achieve and it frustrates me because I have so many goals in life and I feel that I don't have the time to achieve them all. In fact on my 20th birthday I was panicking over that and I felt like such a failure. However, I have noticed that the older I get them stronger, more powerful and more confident I become, so that's a positive sign. My Saturn is retrograde though, so what sort of difference would the retrograde make?

You call Virgo a late bloomer in general and then with Saturn being in my first house, it sounds like this is intensified... but omg! Do i feel like the older I i get, the more excited I am for my future! Every single year is better and better for me! So Sweet Lada... Whatever you said is completely correct with me. I grow elder so slow. I have Saturn in my Asc. in Sagittarius... I am sometimes lazy, feel so tired sometimes. I am slow at walking. But, I still have strong body. I was so reserved, lone and inferior till age of around 23. But, things are geting right day by day. But, progress is too slow. I have a Capricorn ascendant w Venus, Mars and Saturn conjunct it within 5 degrees. I am 63 years old. Here's my insight:
I had a very responsible childhood where I was part of a family business and that was the sole focus. My mother was a Capricorn. In my younger years I dealt with feelings of inferiority and shyness. It took me way over the age of 35 to finally come into my own. (I also have sun opposition Uranus which is just the opposite of Saturn energy). Finally freeing myself from the shackles of inferiority and fear. Also I have aged much better in my older years. People are floored when I tell them my age. I have had some cosmetic surgery but I'm also very natural. I feel really good about myself. But it took a long time.

My only delays have been personal development and marriage lol. I hit puberty in 3rd grade and im 20 lbs bigger than i want to be. Who wants to be 30-40 years old before they get to truly enjoy it? Extremely unfortunate lol. Im 30 now. Have not been able to finish school or truly start a career. My shortcuts bring me back to 0 all the time lol. Im i need luck and fortune TODAY not in ten years when ive lived over half my life🙄 😂

My whole life has been full of responsibilities, I became a Mother at age of 17! My Mother had me late iife and with health issues, I've had to care for her & that responsibility just ended for me, it's definitely a painful time but this has always been written in the stars! Saturn in scorpio 1 st house here and i am short,slim and naturally muscular....self discipline is strong...34 and starting to work out, and build muscle even without trying, very mature look when i was 16, i have venus in libra and pluto in scorpio also in the 1 st...takes a while for me to trust... i am taking better care of my body in the last three years than i have before ...helping others through many a transformation to love themselfs fully , lots and lots of hard work,but all i am passionate about..thanks for the very spot on clip...love your work!!

The way you explain it is as if I feel a steamer guiding my life and it does not go off course, and that might be true! I really resonate with the late blooming part, I was a serious kid and I tried short cuts "to have the life I wanted", but indeed never worked. About the muscles haha, I never go to gym but people keep asking where I go to gym. Some running and physical work does the job.

I'm very open maybe because I'm a Sagittarius with Mercury and Venus in Sagittarius but I have Saturn in cancer in the 1 house so I can relate to the body part, definitely I think we have to master self discipline with our bodies,I struggle to keep a good posture and I'm a too skinny in my legs but I have the moon in the 1 house too so my breast is big. However I am super organise and I hate any mess in my house I think this is a Saturn influence?

I have three planets in the First House: Saturn in Aquarius, Uranus in Capricorn, and Neptune in Capricorn.
I have Saturn retrograde in the first house (conjunct the ascendant) in Leo (Tropical) or Cancer (Sidereal). My growth was stunted, I even spent time in hospital as a toddler due to my stunted size and my speech was delayed too (although this was due to my hearing). As a teen, puberty wasn't really delayed, it was stunted - I've never been curvey. I cannot get fat. I've had 3 children, breastfed them all and "snapped" back to my athletic figure I had before kids. I don't work-out but I look like I do. So while this placement is great for the figure, I still doubt myself... infact I think I'm getting worse with age! Could this be due to Saturn being retrograde or because its in Leo/Cancer? Saturn is my strongest planet and I am trying desperately to befriend it fully.
I also have saturn in Leo 1st house conjunct moon. I had a very overbearing mother who meant well but she basically kept me under lock and key and projected a lot of her insecurities on to me. I too have an athletic toned body and I can work out and quickly see results in just a few workouts. Just like you I struggle so much with self doubt. It stops me from progressing and getting a better job etc. feels like everything is a struggle.

I am glad to hear that life gets better later. I did this years ago and have Saturn in Aquarius and overlaps into the first house. I usually show it In Capricorn or Aquarius because these signs overlap in my chart, but verified this on your page. I feel better hearing this. My rising sign is ♎️ and I have both Saturn and Jupiter conjunct in the first house with Pluto in the last decan. I keep reading “accidental fall” for Saturn. Since it’s in the house of Aries, will that affect Saturn’s influence?
I have Saturn in Scorpio in the first house (along with a Scorpio rising). Even though I'm a Libra sun (Venus, Merc, Neptune) w/Gemini moon, all my life people have asked, "What's wrong? Are you angry?" I could be thinking about getting laid or, better yet, winning the lottery, but they think I'm angry. LOL! So I must have what's come to be called "bitchy resting face." I'm actually pretty witty and funny. OK, I'm also dead serious but HIGHLY responsible. I always step up to the plate (a baseball analogy we use in the States). Oddly enough, my twin brother always sought to AVOID said plate. To say the least. Well, thank you, as always. Glad to see you're becoming more successful with each passing year.
