I'm 25 and Saturn in Aqua has always been a blessing to me. I learned to be patient and enjoy the hard work. Nothing comes for free and no long term success comes easily. Saturn is a protector ,I don't see it as a malefic . Altho my facial features are not prominent. Also I can't say I'm depressed. I used to be but I'm learning. Also mostly intelligent people tend to be sad cos they see things others don't haha. So it's just normal. But I've always been a hopeless optimistic which is odd.
I have Saturn in my 1st house (Scorpio ascendant), and I am a huge Hanuman bhakt :) Yes, I am brutally honest, straightforward and I was bullied by other kids during my childhood. Yes, I do believe it turned me into a shy and quiet person. But my childhood wasn't particularly bad. Life has been full of delays and obstacles. I do not have a lean physique, but I am always late for everything lol that's true. Marriage has been delayed but I hope Saturn gives me professional success haha
Saturn in 1st house in Gemini ascendant. My childhood was very difficult. My father is a verbally abusive person even mom reacted unemotional to my needs. There were constant verbal fights in my house and I constantly feared the moment it will escalate into physical fights. Thank you for this analysis! I have Saturn in 1st house of Virgo, I could related quite a bit. Had an extremely difficult childhood, life got better after 32. Now at 38, Saturn has defined my life for the most part. He has made me confident, independent, patient, humble, though still has left some sadness as well. Saturn is my favorite :)

It's completely true ,I've never pursued my dreams because of fear. Even tho I still haven't had my Saturn return I've gained so much confidence in my self. I feel like if we surrender to Saturn, the lessons aren't that hard anymore. And success comes earlier. It's not a bad aspect as many say. Thanks for the positive reading!

Saturn in 1st house in Scorpio here. Yes, brutally honest and not able to lie or fake anything. But this is problematic in our society, nobody wants that and I faced many problems in my family and especially in my work life - I am stuck in my career, bosses see me as an enemy, because I speak my mind, even though I am a very hard worker and excel at what I do.
Yes I have been depressed for 25 years now and my life feels like a grind or punishment very often.
I have chronical skin disease since early childhood and this makes me very insecure in my body and I avoid people, I feel handicapped because of my skin and that makes me depressed. I am 38 now and looking more towards finding peace of mind in spirituality, because all the other areas in life are just so frustrating for me.

Any ego of the first house is diminished by this placement--100%. I am more critical of self than others for sure, looking back I can definitely see the conditioning of this.
