Easy Truck Bed Tie-down Expansion

Add a bunch more tie-down points to your truck bed in just minutes at a very low cost! Convenient connection points for bungie cords or ratchet straps to keep things from sliding around. This should come in handy for our camping and overlanding adventures, plus general truck stuff in-between!
Materials used:
2x 1/4" heavy duty chain (one for each side of truck bed)
4x Turnbuckles (one for each end of each chain)
4x Quick links (one of each end of each chain)
4x Spring snaps (one of each end of each chain)

Great Idea… I did the same step up you shown here.
Here is my material list & cost:
1/4” Chain : (2) - 5ft length [10ft all together]
5/16” Quick Link Chain : (4)
5/16” Hook / Eye Turnbuckle : (2)
Approx. ~ $52 dollars all together

Leave your chain long and you can use it corner to corner if needed.

Good idea, but you only need one turnbuckle per side.

So... doesn't the chain rattle going down the road?

Nope, none that I can hear at least. Tighten it enough with the turn buckles and there shouldn't be any rattle. Super easy to remove when you don't need it and put back on when you do.
